Ordered books for college and for home, cat's things and other - like when they have good prices. But sometimes prices - even higher than in stores - this one I cannot get why... But ususally there are the same items and so, we can compare and choose. Diversity is a good thing
I find that I can find almost anything on Amazon with better prices than other websites. Most things I receive fast. I tend to buy things that are from the USA but have gotten things from other countries. I had to wait a bit longer for those items and the qualities seemed not as good.
This app doesn't deserve it's low rating. Too many people not familiar with diapers.com reviewing the website (instead of the app) without ever actually visiting the full site! Anyway, i use the site for almost all my baby needs and this app is perfect for shopping on my kindle fire. Much easier than simply using the browser which can be unwieldy. Definitely recommended.
I have been a member for five years and not one bad experience. I have also shopped from private sellers on Amazon and it's been wonderful. All my books, electronics, and other valuables come from Amazon. Shipping is super fast, returns are easy, and to crown it all; I purchase items on other sites only after coming to Amazon to read the item's review.
I won't be comparing amazon to other sites even though am an ardent Ebay shopper. Amazon, is less stress, less hassle, and the best online site. Wish their fees aren't too high on sellers though.
I have been buying from Amazon.com for twelve years and have never been disappointed with items from appliances to electronics. I bought a K 40 CB antenna and Magnetic mount for my brother in law and he has only good things to say about it. We have been real pleased with the items we bought for our Kitchen Aid Mixer. It seems you can find most things you want at Amazon.
I have saved so much with Amazon Prime! I have ordered over 80 items in the past 3 months!
I have been using amazon for a long time now and good value for money and good customer service
I brought a number of cloths in the few months and i was seen their services all time was great...
For the last 5 years I have used this as a price check tool with great success. It is the best price comparison tool.
I also purchased many many items with great success with out a single issue. Sometime the shipping cost is advertised as free but when you order it changes to a fee. But you're in control since you have a option not to finalize the transaction at the very end.
However be aware your purchase history is monitored and shared in the background.
Just like other many other website monitored by the government and other sstatistically oriented consumer company's.
Returns are average. Plea be aware there may independent sellers on Amazon that have different policies and so your experience can vary.
I'm general amazon policy are clear.
This site is safe in general from hackers and scam artist and this made me come back every time.
So far I recommend this e market.
Easy to use and always accepting pay pal payment.
Whatever it is you want to buy, you'll find it on Amazon, and if it isn't on Amazon it probably isn't worth buying anyway.
I am using Amazon for long time now... everything I need is on the site... I was afraid in the beginning to use my credit card in purchase but amazon protection system can protect any customer from fraud... thank you amazon and keep going.
I thought of Amazon as the huge online book seller for years and had noticed that they had begun to add more stuff.
I always have been a Walmart shopper, since Sam Walton was alive.
Most of you won't remember this but "Sam", that is what everyone called him, Sam would really promote one thing over price and convenience and anything else, and that was "Made in America"
Walmart was built on the sales of Made in America, but almost immediately after the death of the patriarch of the Walton family, that mantra changed to " Made anywhere but America", then it changed again to "Only Made In China".
I understand that this is a global economy, I get that, but; without wage earners making stuff here in America, there won't be an American economy.
Our economy will be totally dependent on the economy of China, which is by the way still a Communist country.
Well, anyway Amazon has exploded into this giant powerhouse of a marketer over the last eight years, and their Amazon Prime, with the next day shipping is amazing.
I no longer go to the Walmart to pick up the odd item, I just go online and order it from Amazon, and in a day or two, there it is at my front door.
I was in my local Walmart today, because my grandson needed some construction paper for a project, and could not help but notice, the shelves were depleted and the store was in disarray. Many of the shelves were empty and the store did not look as clean as it used to.
Who knows the reason... and maybe the floors at Amazon are just as dirty, and the shelves are just as empty, but when I need something, click the mouse, the screen says in stock, and boom it is on it's way.
I don't have to drive down to the store, find a place to park, then battle the people in the crowded aisles only to find the item I desperately needed was out of stock.
So I will continue to use Amazon, more frequently and watch for the drone to deliver my groceries in the future.

I am a college student and have been purchasing all my textbooks through amazon books. Prices are half of what the Campus book stores ask and I receive that within 10 days or less at standard shipping rates. Most times I get free shipping through Student-Prime. Check into it! Steve
The best part about Amazon is their return policy. When something goes wrong, they pay shipping both ways. I have returned items and received my refund before the UPS driver picked up the package. Their customer service is knowledgeable and understanding. Their Prime 2 day shipping is fantastic. I do a lot of business with amazon and not only are they price competitive, but get the merchandise to your front door very quickly.
I love Amazon so much! I have never ever had a problem with them! If I need to return anything it's never a problem! Most goods I buy are as described! Prompt delivery service and great contact from them shopping on Amazon always a pleasure!
What a site! I love Amazon. You can find just about anything you are looking for. Whatever my requirement, I simply type in the item and almost always find what I am looking for with plenty of choice. I have been ordering items from Amazon for several years now and have never encountered any problems with any order. The site is extremely user friendly. Items are despatched quickly, packaged carefully and customers are kept fully updated on progress from time of order, through to despatch and even alerted by e mail the day the item is due to be delivered. I am confident in using this safe and secure site and really cannot praise Amazon enough.
The one main problem I have with Amazon is their "fixed" reviews. 90% of the time when I write a 1 star review about any of their products, they REFUSE to publish it until I say something nice. They protect their SELLERS not their BUYERS, and this will eventually come back and bite them in the rear.
They appear to be in the market to control the entire online experience which is good and bad. When their investors were paying for the services (their stocks skyrocketed even though they rarely showed profits), they could afford to do this. But now that investors are starting to demand some sort of steady profitability and some return on their investments other than inflated stocks, Amazon looks like they are starting to worry and this is why they tend to manipulate buyer reviews.
If you don't believe this, try it yourself. Buy what you would consider a poor product and write a bad review. Fortunately, at this point you will get a refund from Amazon, but your review will most likely be squashed.
I've ordered tons of books from Amazon. Only two didn't arrive. Dealing with their customer service was surprisingly great. The fixed the issues very fast. Thumbs up from me.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
