I've been shopping on Amazon for a very long time. There's been some hit and miss but the miss was well taken care of by their awesome Customer Service team.
Eg. I am always accused after washing and drying the clothes of either giving back to the wrong person or right out losing the item... in the house. Well my husband had these Tee Shirts we bought from strawbridges & Clothier, no longer exist, I was accused of losing them all. He complained so awfully we can't get them any wa wa wa. I went on Amazom and BAM there it was. The price was good free shipping and was delivered the next day... My husband recieved his pacifer just in time to watch the game. MY GOODNESS! THANK YOU AMAZON.COM.
Considering the volume and range of items ordered from Amazon, I have had few disappointments. I can get items on my purchase list for usually less $ and have the benefit of reviews to guide me in decision making.
They use investor monies to kill other business and pay their employees peanuts with little or no benefits. People don't realize how they are destroying the local tax coffers in this country. If products were fair traded Amazon wouldn't exist and small business could compete with them. Same with Walmart. Nice that Bezo's can spend his money on space craft now.
I buy from Amazon all the time! I have the app on my phone, and I find everything I want on there. I always find great prices and I've never had any trouble with them. I've always received my packages and in a timely manner. I've never had a bad experience.

Talk about saving me trouble! I check for items on Amazon and Walmart. Especially at Christmas when shopping is a huge pain and I have even less time than my usual lack of time. Whoever has it cheaper, I purchase online. Amazon ships to my door- free with Prime (totally worth it). Walmart ships to my door if I want, but usually I do Site To Store. If I buy Amazon and have any issue at all, I just send an Amazon chat, and they handle it right there. I buy so much and have to return occasionally. Never had a problem. I tend to buy only from Amazon directly, for big, possibly need to return type items. Their other sellers are kind of like potluck, like on Ebay, but Amazon will step in for a refund where necessary if you do it soon.
I love this site. They have almost everything, and the prices are very competitive. When I need something, this is the first place I look. I highly recommend Amazon!

I have often ordered goods from Amazon but this Christmas I needed an item urgently, keeping my fingers crossed it would arrive in time.

They tempted me to use regular shipping to receive a credit for not shipping with free 2 day shipping, but apparently I can only use the credit on audio books!
I've made a number of purchases on Amazon India and about 80% of my experiences have been very positive. Mostly the products are as promised and arrive quickly. In one or two cases they outer packaging of the items was peeling or dingy, but the products themselves were good. When I did receive damaged products or I didn't receive the products I had paid for, I contacted Amazon customer care and they immediately refunded my money. Only two points of improvement for Amazon India:
1) Many of the prices on your site are so obnoxiously, ridiculously high. I'm talking about pricing something that sells in the US for $10 (~600 rupees) at Rs. 20,000. I waste time on your site because so many of the products I want are at these "scammy" prices. Ruins the whole shopping experience and makes me feel like I'm in some cheap fake marketplace full of scamsters look to swindle customers.
2) It is very hard to contact Amazon Customer Care. The first time I did it, it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to email/chat with customer care. There needs to be a prominant link for that.
I started shopping on Amazon I think like almost year ago and found everything I needed. I would recommend it to everyone because it's cheap and got fast shipping service.

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
