Amazon has so many FAKE sellers, it is astounding. Bennett Books Ltd (Covington, KY) is just another Amazon "seller" who has NO inventory. They post ads on Amazon for thousands of items. They have none. Zero. When they get an order for an item, they purchase it from a legitimate seller, either on Amazon, EBay, Bonanza, you name it, and have it sent to them, usually in Kentucky. They wipe it off, wrap it in shrinkwrap and send it out like they always had it. They will buy a "Good" copy and sell it as a "Very Good" or "Like New" copy. They will even re-sell stuff they bought "Used" as "New". We have had so many book orders from them, and it took us a while to figure out what their specific game was. They make their money by never having any inventory, and just posting ads for pricey books. If someone is stupid enough to pay their high price, or needs international shipping, they can skim money off the top, but doing basically nothing. If the book is in poor condition, they will make excuses like "damaged in shipping" when in actuality the book was damaged when they sent it. Of course it's against Amazon policy and dishonest and slimy, but they don't care. So, if you feel like overpaying for something that you could get from someone else... The key is the number of listings. If a seller has 10,000 or more listings, ask yourself WHERE are they storing them? They would have to have a warehouse. If they don't have a warehouse, then you know they are a dropshipper. If they are a dropshipper, then you know you are getting screwed, and all they are doing is what could have done--just buy the cheaper copy from the smaller seller who DOES actually really have that book.
I Ordered the Sony (used) 900e through Amazon. I was given a guaranteed delivery date. Made arrangements to have someone home that day to sign for the delivery. The TV did not come on the promised day which caused much inconvenience. Finally, the package arrived. I removed the TV from the box, and much to my surprise, the entire screen was cracked. Upon closer examination I found a huge hole in the side of the box. The television had not been properly packed; there was nothing in the box to prevent screen damage. Needless to say, I immediately returned the product. It was a big mistake to purchase this item used!
Later on that evening, I went to Best Buy and purchased a new 990e for $115.00 more. I couldnt believe the extra measures that were taken in the packaging to insure that there would be no damage to the set.
Id also like to mention, that a set of new Dolby Atmos headphone were also ordered at the same time. What I received was a used set of headphones poorly packed with important parts missing.

I placed an order for a cryptocurrency wallet on 13th March 2018.
Immediately after that I received an Order Confirmation followed by another email informing me that my account has been blocked and my order cannot be processed unless I send them my billing name, address and phone number registered on my credit card.
Since their email did not elaborate what the issue was but merely asked for information on my credit card, I had to make assumptions on the possible problems and responded with the details requested and explanations.
More than a day later, in response, I get another email from amazon asking me to log in to my account and upload my credit card statement.
However, since my account was blocked I was not able to log into my account and hence I could not upload the card statement either. I sent amazon a note on my predicament and at the same time thought I might as well speak to their customer service consultant to expedite the matter. After searching their website for more than 20 minutes I could find neither a chat link nor a telephone number to call. I gave up.
Later in the night, it occurred to me that I could possibly find their customer service telephone number by googling it. I found it and called them only to get an answer that they will look into it and revert to me after a day or two! I have yet to hear from them.
I order a lot of books online and even those that are shipped from other suppliers arrive quickly. I sometimes buy tools and gifts online and the merchandise is always as stated. Never misrepresented.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
