Have ordered from Amazon often. Any problem I had was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.
Ordered gifts. Did not arrive on time. Called & got 99 excuses. Worst CS. Cancelled subscription. S/w at least 10 other family & friends who cancelled as well. No need for this company
Been a sub-Prime member for years. First was $80 per year, then $100, now $120. But, free, "GUARANTEED 2 day delivery, on items that qualify, wow. You also get sub-Prime video, think of it as Netflix-lite-lite. Great video selection, not. My main gripe are the tactics used to purchase an item. Sub-Prime? Check. Free 2-day shipping? Check. Item Prime and in stock? Check. You are also told, "order within the next "count-down timer", and get "Guaranteed Delivery by "this" date. Here is where the problem starts. After purchase is made, you start getting messages that the item, items, will be coming later, and later and later. The only "GUARANTEE" is to expect this regularly. I contacted AMAZON to ask what the "GUARANTEE" means. Was told, "We are sorry for your experience and will extend your Sub-Prime membership another month for free". Wow. Thats like getting food poisoning at a restaurant and the owner offers you a doggy-bag of same food for your troubles. Amazon employs used car salesman tactics and time sensative pressure to make you purchase an item. Once they have your money. They laugh all the way to the bank. You will get your item whenever they feel like it. I suggest this. DO NOT pay for useless Sub-Prime membership. Pay for 2 day shipping per item, if supplier offers it and cannot meet requirements, Amazon will refund your shipping cost. So, either you get it on time, or shipping is free. And you dont pay $120 a year for nothing. I also verified the refund thru Amazon, but not if your Sub-Prime. It's a shame the consumer takes the brunt of a company that has grown too big and takes advantage of its customers. Amazon used to be good, not anymore.
Ordered something that was prime and it took 5 days to arrive. What happened to 2 day shipping? Guess they took that out and raised the price for prime.
I went to Amazon.com to review a product. But I could not. Instead, this message greeted me:
"To submit reviews, customers must make a minimum amount of valid debit or credit card purchases."
Evidently, I haven't spent enough money online for my consumer opinion to matter.
What a blatant slap in the face to people whose spending income is limited! I am retired; I can't afford luxuries, but as long as I am still alive I will be a consumer, and my feedback is as valid as anyone else's!
I have two words for you, Amazon, and I think you can guess what they are.
They sell quality products and it is the main thing. Also they do have good prices. I think I'll order here again
I love how they let me review if there is any error on my delivers so they can have the right address
All of a sudden books written in 1980 are now priced at $20 by Amazon. The price of books has risen through Amazon by almost 50% in some cases. It turns out that Amazon is trying to get people to buy through their Kindle e-books by pricing hard copy too high for the value (clever marking but customer negative and expensive). Nasty policy. Returns have become more difficult, much more. Some manager ahs decided that a way to raise profits for unfortunate buyers is too exclude the Buyer and limit returns. If you have, by some magic ghost like decision Maker as Amazon have returned too many item, in their minds, then you are notified that you cannot buy anymore. Many people have protested, many reinstated. The real issue is that Amazon allows any hack two-bit outfit to sell on Amazon. So people receive bad products, out-of-spec products, damaged products, etc. more often then in the past. Returns have escalated due to Amazons anyone can sell policy. It is definitely not the Purchaser but the Seller who need to be excluded. Amazon claims to review Sellers for performance which is very limited. When greed dominates it is a real 'fire'. The policy that has been established is profit above service, quality, product performance, product as suppose to be.
If you have amazon prime you get fast free shipping if you dont have amazon prime when you check out and i accidently signed up for amazon prime for a year and didnt realize it so a 12 dollar order turned into 117.89 order
Amazon is big name in eccomerce market, but they dont care for their customer, on 15of this month i got my alexa echo from amazon. It was a damaged piece. I called customer care they askd me everything abt order, and i call for returning of product. Till not no one is called me regarding return of this product. Really pathetic service
I find it very easy to compare items with vary Amazon has. Also, I can find usually items. The two day deliver is great but I have found only time less its are Prime.
Amazon US is my favorite online shop. The most trustable and great site to purchase various things. Thanks amazon!
Prime membership and new to subscribe and save orders but just signed up and loving it
Paper Towels, and other items I always forget to purchase when Im running errands during the week
If you are looking for convenience, this is the place to go, but if you are looking for the best prices this is not always the best place to start
I have recently begun buying more and more online from Amazon. It is easy to find what Im looking at very reasonable prices. I also have had great luck with the shipping. I have Prime and I hardly ever have to wait more than a few days. Anytime I have returned something, it has been no questions asked. I trust Amazon for online shopping more than most places and will continue with their service.
Amazon is great because they have a lot, and prime shipping. There is definitely something to be said for getting things same day or in two days for free. Wow.
They don't have the best prices always. In fact, if you search you can find better deals but in terms of convenience and ease of shopping their at the top of their game.
The delivery process was good.the quality was nice. I was having few queries. The response was very fast and humble. My experience. With fashionmia was awesome. I am very satisfied.
I've been selling on amazon for the last 4 years, it getting more unbearable to swallow their fees. Last week, I sold my son's college algebra but the buyer sent it back. I refunded the money, did not take money from the buyer. Amazon in return charged even on the return item, I was really disappointed. This big company doesn't have a heart, the item was return I did not make money yet they have a nerve to charge. They said it's all standard fees, I didn't know that but now I know it's all fees. They don't care.
Amazon's service is world class. Products are affordable, User Interface is awesome and the website is very easy to use. I recommend to any shopper
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
