While some positive experiences were noted regarding specific deliveries, the majority of feedback highlights significant issues, particularly with returns, customer support accessibility, and the handling of complaints. Many customers reported long delays in refunds and dissatisfaction with third-party seller transactions. Additionally, concerns about misleading promotions and inadequate packaging further contribute to a negative sentiment. Overall, the company faces challenges in maintaining customer satisfaction and trust.

Since I am not allowed to view my displeasure with amazon.ca regarding packaging on their site, I thought this would be the better format. I recently bought 2 vinyl records and received them in a very large rectangular box, at least 2 and half to 3 times the size of the records. There were no inserts and/or bubble wrap to protect the records during shipping and, of course, as a result they were tossed around during shipment. I would advice against purchasing any vinyl records with amazon, as you will never receive them in mint condition. How frustrating!
They misstreat abuse do not help the aged the disabled the weak the non tech very very poor service? All catered to the android types who know nothing about the real world manners humanity, its all greedy mindless online serfdom slavery and the worship of their true God $Money
Was a prime member for years. Then they opened a second account under my phone #. Without permission. Canceled my prime membership had 22 days left on old one. But 10 days later they withdrew membership fees again. Can't be trusted.
Drivers won't even get out to deliver, they just cancel your order while sitting outside staring at you. No matter how much you complain nothing gets done. Go to eBay instead
I took two days to work from home to ensure I would be here for my package delivery. Intelcom send a "attempted delivery failure" message the first day at 12:11pm. At the same time, my phone rang once from a mobile number then they hung up. I called back 3x to no avail. I stayed home again today and just received another delivery failure notice. There have been no attempts at delivering here. I contacted Intelcom and they were useless. Then I contacted Amazon, who offered me a ten dollar gift certificate. Ten dollars. Seriously?
Amazon owes me a refund. Placed two orders one with three items. Prior to shipping I realized one item was the wrong length. I canceled it and reordered the correct size. They however decided to charge me for the other two items at $25.97 without refunding the $22.59 for canceled item even though they already charged me $48.54 for sll three items. So I have now paid $105.01 for items worth $56.45. I await 48 hrs to determine if the correction will be made. I don't trust their customer service reps or supervisors as I have had this run around from other companies to contact your bank but it was the retailer that took the debit and didn't correct with a deposit. It's shady behaviour. They always double charge immediately but make you wait for a adjustment/correction that may never happen without time and follow up.
Delivery of 1 coffee table is 1 month. 15 days after placing the order it was not yet shipped. I called to cancel and they refused. They cancelled 1 order without telling me. Order JV Home Pipra Collection 43 Inch Grand Coffee Table with Tray Stylish | Modern Rectangle Coffee Table for Living Room (White). Disgusted with amazon. They are losing their reputation.

EVERY time we order something from Amazon.ca and pay for express shipping, "Promised by date" a few days after ordering, suddenly gets extended AFTER payment! Very Shady Carriers are being used by Amazon.ca, Carriers like BNI, Landmark, DHL. (DHL Tried 3 times to Rip us off for Import Fees that were PRE-PAID!) Ordered something June 13th, 2022, Paid shipping for a Guaranteed Date of BY JUNE 18th 2022, by 8:00 PM (We PAID FOR THIS!) Amazon didn't even start shipping Items until June 17th, 2022! LIED to by Customer Service, (In Chat and on Phone!) Carrier trying to deliver to WRONG Address, Amazon Customer service didn't understand PLAIN ENGLISH when this was EXPLAINED REPEATEDLY to them! Have received items that were not as Described. Or Counterfeit Knock offs, sold at a premium price!
AMAZON BUYERS be CAUTION, NEVER buy products from AMAZON or refund, AMAZON TRIED TO SEND YOU THE DAMAGED PRODUCTS AND ASSUMING YOU WILL RETURN IT, WHEN YOU RETURNING, AMAZON WILL ALWAYS CHARGE YOU RESTOCKING FEE FOR CLAIMING THAT THE PRODUCTS YOU RETURN WAS DAMAGED.
I purchase from Amazon.ca The LG laptop I received was the incorrect descriptions as state on Amazon's website, and I didn't even open it and decided to return and when Amazon received it, and charged me $360 restocking fee for saying that the laptop has seriously damage, that's a LIE, I didn't even run this laptop how can it be damaged, the only reason is Amazon send me the damaged false descriptions laptop and knowing that I will definitely return it and when I send back, Amazon just use the only one reason to everyone who return the electronic "YOUR ARE RETURNING A DAMAGE PRODUCT" tried to ripped OUR MONEY!
I've spend so much time on calling and emailing to all level of Amazon.ca Rep, but either insist or not replying back for my appeal for refunding $360
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY at AMAZON, AMAZON IS A SUPER SUPER "BLACK-HEARTED PROFITEERS".
I ordered a sheet set from Captain Linen on Amazon and it would not fit my King properly, the seller said i had to pay for the item to go back and sent in in April, it arrived as per the tracking number on April 28 and still have not recieved my refund the the seller is saying it never got there, but Canada post shows it did. Their A-Z claim dept at Amazon sucks and glad I am dealing with E-Bay again.
Avoid Amazon at all cost
They are very fast to take your order abd your money but they are there to help you with the pieces of scraps they sale if you have any problems.
On January 18,2022 I get from Amazon.ca e-mail:
"Your Prime membership will not renew
We are confirming that you have turned off your auto-renew setting. Your Prime membership will not continue"
But on February 17,2022, an amount of $ 9.19 was charged from my NBC credit card as Amazon Prime Membership
I did not use my Prime membership benefits during this period but they charged $ 9.19.
I have asked for this amount to be canceled many times. No reaction. This is how the customer is treated.
For this and other reasons, I very rarely buy from Amazon.ca. Often times, only I am forced to buy there because only Amazon claims the right to sell certain items that you will not buy elsewhere.
A financial tycoon who treats the customer as an object.
Customer support: *******@amazon.ca does not work: "Please do not reply to this e-mail, as we are not able to respond personally to messages sent to this address".
So there is no customer service. Nobody takes any responsibility. Is it normal?
At 615 pm a young driver was speeding in my townhouse complex and almost hit some kids! Amazon should be jailed for allowing this behavior.
They kept on telling me you will get your refund, and we will do this and that. When they failed to give refund, they told me it is my fault and I ask for refund late. More than 3 times they contacted the seller and saying you will get it. And when it failed, it was my fault. Worst, worst, worst.
First they double charge me then the day they put back on my card, the very next day it was used to buy games and it was not me An Amazon employee or friend. Not ordering from Amazon no more
I bought furnace filters though amazon for total of 108.47 Canadian dollars and two days later bought the same furnace filters directly from the same seller's website for total of 84.75, it's a difference of 23.72! So amazon made 23.72 (or cheated me) from one item, and I have been using amazon.ca for years. I have called them 4 times, they didn't do nothing. Basically AtoZ guarantee means nothing.
I realized I should delete my amazon account.
I was never abducted by aliens, but I have talked to them. Amazon customer service is another language, on another planet, and to fully grasp this, you must have a few calls with them to have it really sink in. This is an entity unto itself. From the structure of their customer service, to the employees and how they interpret complaints, it is not something a normal person can understand. If you sell on amazon, get ready to get abused, ripped off, and amazon will help it happen. These things make one ponder philosophically.
I had ordered a work table a week before I actually needed it and Amazon showed that the delivery will be done 2 days after the order placement. It was really urgent for me and I needed it on a specific date, so I placed the order after carefully checking the delivery date but on the date of actual delivery, when I checked the status of my order, it said "undeliverable", that Amazon has cancelled it and will issue refund within 3-5 business days. This shows irresponsibility, unreliability and not being trust worthy on part of Amazon. It was very easy to write a "sorry for the inconvenience" but I know as a customer how much inconvenience it caused. I will not only have to leave all my work aside to rush to buy the table but also double my money will be stuck. Its okay with me for now but not everyone has that much budget. I will never ever trust Amazon for any of my important deliveries. I would rather go to some local shop and buy it.
I'm not getting my packages delivered to my door. I live in an apartment and many delivery people think they can leave my boxes at the entrance. Especially Canada Post, Joey Co. They've already gotten in to the building, have a dolly to use and are hired to deliver to my door. Just pure laziness! Amazon won't deal with this.
Some boxes have been 35-65 lbs and left for me to carry! Seriously, just do your job Amazon. Hire people who will do the work. That's what I'm paying for. I'm being punished for living in an apartment instead of a house.
