I was expecting an item to be delivered under 2 day delivery shipping. First I get a notice telling me that my item has shipped & it will be delivered on Sunday Nov 1st (guaranteed 2 day delivery as per Amazon). On Nov 1st, I check the tracker & it doesn't say out for delivery! So I call Amazon & they tell me they have a 2 day grace period & they have until 8pm on Nov 3rd to deliver my parcel! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 2 DAY DELIVERY GUARANTEE?
I TOLD THEM I WANT MY ORDER FOR FREE & THEY TELL ME THAT I CAN GET A $5.00 CREDIT! WHAT A JOKE THAT IS! SO THEN I HEAR FROM AMAZON THAT THEY ARE SORRY MY ORDER DIDN'T ARRIVE ON TIME & IF I DON'T GET IT BY 8PM ON NOV 3RD, I CAN CALL THEM ON NOV 4TH TO REQUEST A FULL REFUND! SO THEIR 2 DAY DELIVERY GUARANTEE IS BOGUS. I LIVE IN CITY OF TORONTO & THEY CAN'T GET A SIMPLE ORDER TO ME IN 2 DAYS? ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE AMAZON! I AM ON A 30 DAY TRIAL FOR AMAZON PRIME & I CERTAINLY WILL NOT BECOME A PAYING PRIME MEMBER IF THEY PROVIDE SUCH UNRELIABLE SERVICE & WANT $7.99 A MONTH PLUS HST FOR SUCH CRAPPY SERVICE!
I am a prime member and use to buy almost everything in amazon and be able to return things without being charged but now they are charging for every return and it is getting more expensive than to buy in the stores.
I had only one bad order witch i got refunded for, customer service is threw the roof good also really easy to work with, quick as heck delivery... I appreciate your understanding and appreciate how understanding u guys are! Amazon is the best and thank you for your services
It seems the customer is expected to sit in their condo for days waiting for a delivery. In this age of technology surely they can do better than this. Do yourself a favour and buy locally. Companies out there, use shopify not amazon to sell your stuff.
My credit card was compromised after I placed an Amazon order. I don't shop online so I know it happened because of Amazon. Then I was 'guaranteed' a delivery date and 4 days later, still no delivery. Asked for a refund but questionable now because I had to shut down that credit card because of the $1200. 00+ fraudulant purchase that someone tried to make after I did my Amazon purchase. Bad experience all around.
Amazon used to be great and then I moved to an area that they use intelcom to attempt to make deliveries within.
Now it is next to impossible to receive a package because over 50% of the time the driver does not show up and you just receive an email saying that a delivery attempt was made. When you call Amazon they simply repeat the lie and tell you that another delivery attempt will be made the next day but considering that they lied about the first attempted delivery it is difficult to say whether or not another delivery attempt will be made at all. I have canceled my prime membership with Amazon and now I will no longer make any future purchase through Amazon. I know that they do not care about my business so this really only hurts me but if enough people refuse to use a fraudulent service then maybe Amazon will wake up and stop using intelcom or make them actually deliver the the package. Hope this saves someone the frustration that I have gone through. Simply trying to have an online order fulfilled in 2020 should not be so difficult. All the other shippers drop packages off but intelcom doesn't, maybe stop using intelcom Amazon!
When I first signed up with Amazon, deals I could find where very reasonable. The last 2 years however I find after exchange and shipping costs the products on Amazon are 15 to 30% more. The independent sellers make a good profit pushing goods around on line. Amazons days are numbered now that most retailers sell on-line. Check with your Canadian retailers and Buy Canadian.
PS... I cant write a negative review on Amazon as it would get Deleted!
Although Amazon is more than happy to assist in purchases and usually refunds, it is very frustrating to invest time and money into a seller that is either not located in Canada or selling fake items. My most recent item, hair toner was actually used. That is simply disgusting. I wish Microsoft would create a company better than Amazon.
Amazon is the worst customer service company in the world in my experience. Amazon also does not match prices drop within few days of purchases.
Also, it is so hard to carry Breville Mini Smart Oven for a mile to a post office to return the oven because of damage and scratches. Plus Amazon charges 35 postage deduction. What a rubbish and unfair company Jeff Bezos is, billionaire of no ethics or sensitivities to seniors challenges.
Very hard to get in touch with Customer Service plus they transfer you around to no avail.
Just so you know if your credit card number is stolen through amazon and a new account is created in a different name and email address You as the credit card owner have no control over deleting that account or your credit card from it even though you can verify you are the sole owner and have no other accounts. Basically the thief is now in control of your credit card what a backwards system, they do not protect the owner whatsoever i had to cancel my credit card and wait the 8-10 days for a new one to come in. Completely ridiculous they allow this to happen. If i new the email address using my card i would cancel it myself
I had a wonderful experience. Order was filled right a day ahead of the day they said it would be delivered. Great Job everyone it was my first time to order and I will definitely do it again!
I had a problem with a $100 gift card, I'm a prime and more than regular customer of Amazon.ca as I order at least 4/5 items a week... They never seemed to be able to help me, chat support is in India and they don't care the less, trying to finish the conversation and pass to the next... I went to escalation, it's email only and they wrote me only one time to have the proofs; I sent them and never heard back from them... basically meaning I have to sit on my $100 cash money... Disgusting and dishonnest practice...
They took extra money out of our account without our permission. They asked bank for permission to take the extra money and not us. No notice on what they were doing. I called and got the run around and got hang up on second call and how rude. Cancel our order and the first person I talk to said it would be 3 to 5 business days to get our money back and second person said 7 to 10 business days to get our money back. That's ridiculous! This make us not want to order from amazon.
Paid the extra for prime instead of the extra 30 bucks for shipping to get an item on the same delivery date. As a result it still has not showed up three days later, shouldve just paid the extra for the shipping.
The drivers dont even make an attempt at delivery half the time just mark it as attempted.
After all this ive also found out that this item is old ald no longer being produced. I found a newer model of the same item direct from source and its cheaper by almost a hundred bucks. With FREE shipping.
Do your research on every item and make sure you cant get it cheaper and or faster anywhere else first.
I dont know how Amazon.ca work. They so stupid only know my money and no more responsibility to fix issue. I add one product for selling they take over one month we try for ask why but only get automatic email after 2-3 business days they will feedback but never see anything from them.
I recently order a kid bed for nephew. Amazon just to save money or for whatever reason used Canada Post for my delivery.
Yesterday I was checking my order status And showed that I have already received my order I noticed that security at front desk did not call me to notify me. Immediately I called the security desk to figure out what exactly happened asked them if they have got my package and the answer was no.
Canada post driver just dropped the card instead of the package. Apparently the package was heavy for them to deliver. Next thing I noticed that they want me to pick up the package my self.
Well at this point I was pissed off not because I haven't got my package just because they have lied to me. Well I decided to go and check the security cameras guess what driver walks in no package and drop the card that shows I missed the package in and out 1 min.
This is not the driver fault or Canada post. This is Amazon fault that uses unreliable Delivery method for their Prime Members. As soon as I find the alternative I'll be moving on and take my business somewhere else.

I just ordered batman mask of the phantasm and I never received it yesterday I get that theres less carriers due to covid19 but that's no excuse for me to keep waiting for my item. So disappointed
Due to the Coronavirus, they take your order, but if you a problem with it, no ones there for you, they only take care of prioritized order! So just sell prioritized stuff! Took my money, never got my order, 2 1/2 months later!
I ordered a pack of 100 N95 masks that was supposed to be delivered by May 20 but it came on June 10, I wouldnt have had a problem if the package was just late, but aside from being 20 days late, it also came with only 10 masks out of the 100. It cost me about 23$. But I'm bothered because it could be only returned by May 30th, which would be impossible since the package arrived on June 10. And I wasn't able to contact amazon by phone, email, or customer service directly. I am very unsatisfied.

First and last time ordering from amazon.ca. Neither of the 2 items I ordered has arrived after over a month of waiting and checking the mail. However they are quick to issue a refund. Experience was a big waste of my time.
