I am very sad to say I believe Allstate is a crooked company. First of all they want one to use their select remediation "experts" who just happen to be three times the cost of others. What is worse is their "experts" disappear quickly after they are paid. Not much left to repair the problem. Are there kickbacks? Naturally I don't know but I trust Allstate about as much as I would trust Murdoch to "help me". Good luck!

Worse costumer service ever, easy to get insurance by them but bad to help costumers. I get transferred multiple times and after the wait they just hang up on me.

I had allstate home owners insurance on my home and sold my home back in July 2022. They continued to bill me until Jan 2023. When I called them, I had to go through 5 representatives before someone could actually help me. The last one said she fixed everything and told me that I would be receiving a refund. 3 months later, I get no refund but a collections bill in the mail. Their automated system is complete garbage and they make it impossible to talk to anyone. Don't use Allstate unless you want to be pissed off and have your blood pressure go up.

I had a terrible experience with this car insurance company. They changed my rate without my knowledge or consent, claiming it was due to inflation and higher rates of accidents in the area I live in.

I found it highly unprofessional and unfair that they would change my rates without informing me first. Not only that, but the increase in the premium was unjustified and not reflective of my driving history or habits.

When I called their customer service to inquire about the rate hike, I was met with rude and unhelpful representatives who seemed to have no interest in resolving my concerns. It was clear that their priority was to collect as much money from me as possible, rather than providing good customer service.

Overall, I would not recommend this car insurance company to anyone. Their shady business practices and lack of transparency make them a risk to anyone who wants to ensure their car is properly insured. Save yourself the trouble and look for another insurance provider who values their customers and their trust.

Zero stars. Do not recommend. Our basement flooded after days of extreme rain and our claim agent was slow to respond and gave poor guidance throughout the process. After 30 days, and our claim agent telling us to get the work done, Allstate denied our claim. What good is insurance if it's not there when you need it? We lost half the living space in our home and countless items and I was told "you're denied but we're here for you." What a joke!

Don't get Allstate insurance. My vehicle was hit by an AllState client. AllState is refusing to pay for my rental car past 30 days. My car has been in the shop for 56 days. I have been told by their agents that they will not pay for a rental car if there is any sort of parts delay. So, good luck if you get hit by an Allstate client - all parts are delayed right now. An agent literally shouted at me, "It's not our fault the part hasn't come in!" And, I responded with, "Yes, it's your client's fault that I need a part at all." Apparently, the Allstate motto is, "You're in good hands, unless our client hits you. Then you will need to choose between going into debt or keeping your job." I've never encountered such unprofessional behavior from agents. They should never, ever shout at someone. Particularly when I am the one who has been wronged and am dealing with the fallout of a mistake their client made. Horrible experience.

I just got a spam phone call from Allstate California. The caller said they had a coupon, I said I'm not interested and the caller said F***Off three times before I could hand up. Real professional!

Awful!
March 22, 2023

14 years of being a so-called value customer. Yet the agent only applied the 55 and retired discount to the home policy of my insurance but not to the auto part of the policy. This ultimately charged me thousands of dollars unbeknownst to me. All of that the "are agents are doing everything they can to give you the most discounts" is bull****

Worst insurance company ever. They do not pay for anything, even if you are injured! They have a cap on how much they are willing to pay out even when going through lawyers. In addition the agent I spoke to (Kandie Betters-Watson) was so rude when speaking with her. She was giving me attitude for asking questions on clarification about the policy of the driver who hit me. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on another insurance company as you will strongly regret them if you they are ever needed. When Allstate stand are you in good hand…. Absolutely not!

Bait and switch
March 13, 2023

Stay away from those crooks. They first give you a fantastic quote, and then a few months later they tell you that they made a mistake and you owe them more money. This is criminal behavior. They are the worst of the worst. Save yourself some headaches and stay away from them.

Not In Good Hands
March 9, 2023

In The Marion County Court In And For Marion County Florida, Shawanda Murry v Castle Key Insurance Company (Allstate) Case#2016-CC-*******...I am forced to represent myself in court while diagnosed with Bipolar, and on psychotropic drugs. A prick test revealed that my then 12 year old daughter was allergic to mold. Mold wss found in the AC unit due to a drip pan overflow, in 10/15/15. The claim was denied. While fighting in court, the mold has spread throughout the house. Allstate has won, without me being present in court due to extreme chest pains, and a mental breakdown. Allstate is requesting Taxes, fees, and cost, with the threat of placing a lein on my house. After serving 7 years in the Navy, I built my house through the Veterans program in 1997, and I have been a loyal Allstate customer since then. I am forced to live with this mold. My family is getting sicker. I am not in good hands.

Allstate lied to us
March 7, 2023

We called Allstate to tell them a woman ran into us. I told them it is not a claim because she ran into us. We were promised a thorough investigation. The accident happened at a gas station parking lot. We called the gas station and asked if they had cameras covering the parking lot. They said yes. We believe the woman was visiting someone who works at the gas station, or she works there herself. The gas station is not allowing us to get the footage of the accident from the camera. The woman lied and said my husband hit her. We want to prove the accident was her fault not ours. Now we will have to get a lawyer to help us get the footage to prove our innocence. Allstate is saying that the accident cost will be shared between the two insurance companies. I do not call that an investigation. That means for the first time in about 55 years there will be an accident on my husband's driving record. That is so unfair.

Allstate stated how much I was a loyal customer and appreciated my business. When it came to my claim I was not compensate for my damage. Two months with the run around. I had more damage then they gave me and they know this. Less then a thousand then subtract $500 deductible. Very upset and disappointed to the point I cancel them and would never recommend them. Your not in Good Hands with Allstate.

Stay away from Allstate! They will take your last money, but God forbid you need their assistance. I cancelled my policy over the phone; yet, they explained I never did, and continued charging me for additional months without offering refund. Expensive, and quite frankly NOT WORTH IT!

If I could give Allstate a zero star I would. I had a break-in at my home in Youngstown Ohio. When filing my claim, I missed a few details. Because of that, my claim was turned over to a special investigator by the name of James Revere. From that point it was no longer an inquiry, it became a hostile Interrogation and nothing short of a criminal conspiracy. Where were you on this date? Can you send me proof of that? Who else has access to the house? Can you send me their name and number? Every question was shaped to incriminate me. I felt extremely uncomfortable having to explain every detail of my life to him. There are so many things about this situation that he didn't bother to ask. He call my wife and asked her trick questions to fit his narrative. I called his manager to ask her if his line of questioning was proper and she was even more hostile and rude. She spoke over me several times. The paralegal assigned to my claim was rude, and pushy as well. I've been labeled a criminal by Allstate Insurance. A guy who would break into his own home and steal his heating furnace, water heater, and copper plumbing. Now I'm forced to hire an attorney to protect my name. Just because Allstate suspects that I had something to do with the break-in at my own home. I feel like I'm being victimized twice. Once by the burglar and now by the Allstate.

They are the worst hands to be in and our blood leechers like any other insurance company. In my case they agree the roof is damaged due to wind and hail but won't cover the leak cause it is not a whole kind of thing where the water has flown inside, they agree the roof leaked water in to the house and damage caused but won't agree to pay the damage as it didn't happen like a big hole where the water is pouring. Which is ridiculous explanation I have heard.
