Around the first of May I received the letter from Allstate that I did not understand. I emailed my agent and he said it was uninsured motorist coverage. He said I needed to get the paper signed and send back in cuz it was a insurance add on I did not want to waste money on. Let me say I paid for full coverage in full for 6 months in March and this is May they're sending this letter out and giving me five days or so to get it back in or I could do it online if I knew how. I'll cut to it, I had to spend $36.18 for 10 days of uninsured motorists insurance coverage, they threatened to cancel my insurance with one month left on my policy if I did not pay the $36.18. I will not be doing business with them again!
August 8th 2023. He hit me in the middle of a round about. You are to yield coming into a round about and All-State only wants to pay 70 percent. I'm sure they have very few pictures if any at all. Have not talked to me or looked at my car at all. Has not even tried to call. How sad. We both slowed down and I thought he was going right into the lane next to me then he hit the gas and crash.
If you'd like to waste your money and pay an insurance, somebody that never pays you back for some thing that you can't control then this is the company to waste your money on. I wish there was an option for no stars. It should be five negative stars.
Allstate hired a moving company to move me out of my condo into a storage unit. The moving company they hired stole and damaged many of my items including my two queen beds and a side table. Jewelry, a vacuum cleaner, and some electronics were missing. They also temporarily stole my bike and when we inquired about it they returned it to me. The moving company did not want to take any responsibility for their faults. Thus, I went to Allstate and meticulously filed a claim with a police report, several pictures, and the monetary value of all items damaged/missing. After I spent a lot of time communicating with my adjuster over the phone, he denied my claim. I feel very strongly that Allstate should take responsibility since I pay them lots of money every year for home owners as well as car insurance. They are difficult to work with and very greedy. Their tendency is not to want to cover anything. I am very frustrated with the situation as no one wants to take responsibility for what comes out to be about $10-$12,000 in missing and damaged items. Would not recommend Allstate as a top company to work with.
Ryan Grothaus is the laziest insurance agent Allstate. How this POS keeps his job, I dont know. I switched bank accounts & tried taking care of the changes myself on the APP. The APP is buggy & wouldnt allow me to make the changes, So I called this little egotistical prick. He was all cool & said everything would be taken care of. Next thing I know Allstate is charging me $25 becauase the account they had for my automatic payment hadn't been updated. So I called Mr. Big Pants & said "Hey? What gives dude? I thought you were going to take care of this? Of course its not his fault. (RYAN GROTHAUS IS MR PERFECT) Long story short, he couldn't get the late fee taken off & I took my money to an actual business that hires competent people, blocking all transactions. Hope the late fee was worth it, Readers do yourselves a favor and take your business somewhere else. You can not rely on these idiots to throw a birthday party, let alone be in charge of your insurance. This worked out better for me because now I have insurance that is cheaper & don't have to rely on irresponsible, ignorant employees whenever I need something. It wasn't nice doing business with you Ryan Grothaus. You should maybe try a job in something other than customer relations.
I was in a car accident where my car was totaled. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and had a broken ankle to where I needed surgery. When I got home, I called because I paid to have my car towed. I was told to send the original receipt to a po box in Texas. I did just that. I did not hear anything for 2 months. When I did call, I was told they did not receive and said I had to mail it again. I told them I could not do to that because I was in a cast and on a knee scooter and could not get out. The man argued with me and then hung up on me. I called back and explained the situation to another rep and they told to fax and email it. So I did just to be told I was denied because I did not have a pre authorization number. No ne gave me a pre authorization number. What's the point of having this insurance to be treated like this. It not fair, if they know this is what the customer needs, then they should provide it when you call. How can I get my money back.
Had hail damage, filed a claim,allstate adjuster Briana Corley said no hail damage, hired a roofer he took over 100 pictures clearly shows hail damage, still adjuster denied claim,stay away from this company
Although I've been an Allstate customer for many years and never made a claim, they denied a hail claim I submitted. They readily admitted I had damage to the gutters, downspouts and screens, but insisted no damage to the shingles. They also outsource their work, so talking with an agent was extremely difficult. In this case she (F Stevens) had terrible English and was constantly lying, arguing and trying to dismiss my claim. They did in fact deny the claim, and I cannot stress strongly enough to anyone looking for insurance not to buy Allstate you are not in good hands and they will not help you.
I was hit by an allstate driver so I had not choice but to deal with this company. It is difficult to talk with anyone directly. Phone system is set up to direct you to the website or to file a claim through a link. It took weeks to assign blame and process the claim. They had an app to establish damage and provide estimate for repair. The estimate was a joke. My regular body shop wouldn't deal with allstate. Found another body shop who did. He tried to arrange a rental as he does with other insurance companies and has done with allstate in the past.
Allstate has a new policy, I need to pay for rental upfront and then they will reimburse me. I didnt find this out until I was returning the car. I have called allstate back 3 times today was on hold for a good chunk of time, talked with 3 different people at the company. They all had different stories. The last person I spoke with said they would only reimburse me for 3 days of car rental even though it took 10 days for the repair. The total car rental was 520 dollars. They will only pay 80 dollars. 3 days at a rate of 26.68.
I am going to file a complaint against the company with the state. I would not even give them 1 star. They are an awful company. I have never had an issue like this before. Most companies arrange the repair and rental directly with the body shop to make the process easy. Not ALLSTATE. They are clearly not interested in providing good customer service.
Their employee that told me I wouldn't be cancelled lied. I was cancelled and allstate didn't care to help at all! Just give us money for ur last payment maybe! You will be reinstated. On their employee! Falls on me now Im cancelled and that goes to MVA. I do not recommend allstate at all! Plus you can't even call corporate! Just call centers who will just say how sorry they are. Allstate sucks!

Had hail damage on roof. They said damage couldn't have happened on date I turned in. Said I would have to turn in new claim for different day
Run, don't walk! I chose endurance which is owned by Allstate because it was cheaper. I absolutely regret it now. I have never had an at fault accident...and I hit something which caused my axle to break. I filed a claim and I was interrogated from the beginning and in a very disrespectful way. "I need to find out if the axle was faulty or if it already had this problem." This is a 2018 Nissan Altima. I purchased it for my son when he graduated high school and he died 14 months ago. So I took over his car. This was his pride and joy and now it is mine.
My claims agent has been rude and disrespectful with each communication... often times she doesn't call back. I've left three messages and two emails with zero response. Caliber collision called me today 6/7/23 to tell me that she is refusing to approve the repairs and is ignoring their communication requests. I only got a hold of her by calling themain line. She wasn't happy. She said, "I am not approving till I know what happened and who is liable.". WHAT?!? I told you what happened. Never mind that they towed the car to caliber collision in the first place and this is been going on since May 10. It is now June 7th. I drove to caliber and called her from there...she didn't pick up (no surprise) so we called the main line again...she picked up and was pissed. Haha
The manager at caliber told her the damage was from hitting something and it was fresh. She said, "well it's still going to take 5 business days for us to review before we can approve." LIAR!
I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and left negative reviews on all platforms. I'm looking for every avenue to complain. I called her supervisor and left a message.
Update on 6/8 no return call from supervisor...no surprise.
So during all of my grief and suffering she has caused me more undo stress. I've been without a car now since May 10. I have lost wages when I couldn't get to work and the stress is causing medical issues. So look somewhere else. They do not care about you...they only care about your money.
They are nothing but thieves. They win in my town and they took my hard-working $500 out of my account by adding my miner son without my permission on the policy.And they refused to refund my money!
They will find ways and excuses not to cover your claim. I had a roofer tell me i had hail damage that came by. Guess what, allstate claims there was no damage whatsoever. Find another insurer. Don't throw your money away to them. They suck money from their customers and dont pay them out when you need them.
Never Ever trust the Ontario claims manager Nelson Fodor and Arlene Prothman they are just trying to make you quiet and trying g to not pay your claim
Went to cancel my insurance after purchase insurance with another provider and they told me they would continue to bill me until after they notified my mortgage lender - however long that would take them - regardless that I already had replaced them. This is after they raised the cost of insurance on my home by $1,000.00. They are a bait and switch insurance company.
My vehicle was parked. Allstate customer hit me. Left messages for weeks. Its hard get a actual person. There own body shop estimates $2700 in damages. I was told to do virtual assistant. Then I got slap in the face.$ 1700. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY.GET A LAWYER. EVERY TIME.IT DOESN'T MATTER TO THEM THAT YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING. KEEPING THERE COST DOWN.
