Please for the love of God, don't buy roadside assistance from these people. Use AAA or someone else if you feel that it it necessary for you to have this coverage. Please just call a local towing company they can assist you a lot better. Allstate will collect you money for coverage then when it's time to act get a tow. They will only pay the company 42.00 and leave the rest up to you to pay. As a owner of a towing company it is frustrating to see people use this then wonder why I'm asking for them to pay the additional balance of their call when they assume they are covered for a tow. You will get short wait times and better assistance if you just call the towing company direct.
My husband was hit by a driver who had allstate insurance. The claim process was horrible. The allstate agents treated us like we were bothering them. Never returned messages, no call backs, denied even who we were and lied to us that claims had been paid, when they had not. Had to get an attorney to get it resolved. This was a NO FAULT accident. My husband was hit was a young driver. BEWARE - if you are in an accident and hit by a drive who has allstate, good luck because it will be an undertaking. BEWARE!
I have been an Allstate customer for 24 yrs. I was rear ended by another car and my vehicle was totaled. This occurred on Nov 3, I still have no car, continuous medical bills, pain and LOTS of stress. This entire event has been nothing but stress and chaos. The adjuster has been uninvolved for the most part and when involved, ineffective. There was absolutely no direction provided. As I have never been in a wreck and I have paid a lot of insurance premiums over 24 yrs, I was expecting this to be an easy process. I expected the adjuster would do her job just as all of us are expected to do. Well I was very wrong. As soon as this nightmare is over, I will be switching companies. PLEASE DO NOT USE ALLSTATE.
I called to have my car towed, the man on the phone was acting as if I was bothering him. He kept repeating him self how they don't have a computer to look up stuff. He was giving me horrible attitude and kept having me repeat every detail of my address and information... Finally my fiancé got on the phone and asked to be transferred to a different caller. They transferred me twice asked for the same info then hung up on me... Mind you I have to be at my car appointment to fix my car in an hour or so and that whole fiasco lasted for 20 mins on the phone... Now just hoping for the tow truck driver to arrive soon so that I don't miss my appointment at the dealership. The way they treated me on the phone wasn't right especially when I'm stressing over my car and other things. That man on the phone sure knew how to make my day go from bad to worse and even made me cry... Thinking of switching Auto insurances now...
I paid for roadside assistance for months and the first time I tried to use it I never got a tow truck. After being told Allstate could not get me a tow truck an hour later, I was asked to get my own tow truck. At the time I had no way to pay for the service. I thought that the reason I had roadside assistance was so I'd never be stranded. Well, it was 20 degrees and stranded is exactly what happened. The next morning I was forced to repair my vehicle in UNO's Pizzeria parking lot. Allstate could provide no answer as to why this happened. In the end, Allstate only pays $125 for tow and if you don't have balance you are out of luck. I thought I was paying for roadside assistance to prevent being stranded and that's exactly what Allstate leads you to believe while they sell the service. (Or lack of service)
After being rear ended in July by an uninsured driver, I had to claim on my uninsured motorist that I pay the premium for monthly. Working with the Allstate claim agents has been the absolute worst claim experience I have ever had. They don't try to do right by their policy holders. Every step of the way they are trying to jip you out of your rightful claim. Only when you threaten to get lawyers involved will they start moving on the settlement. But still not to your full loss but to the point where any more time dealt with them become not worth your time. The very worst service I have ever experienced with a insurance company. Will start shopping for new insurance when it is renewal time.

Ok so to start I was hit by a drunk driver who had Allstate insurance. My vehicle was setting still and was plowed by this guy and he left the scene, he was arrested for drunk driver within an hour of the crime.
Allstate started the claim process and sent someone to my house to inspect the vehicle. Allstate low balled my vehicle value to start off with and then they tried to total the vehicle even though it was very easily fixed and driveable.
The agent I got stuck with did not seem to be very bright or knowledgeable about the process. So they finally came up with an offer and after a little bit of back and forth trying to figure out what needs to be done I get told by them that the claim has been denied by their adjuster only 3 days after it was started. It seemed as if they just gave up and now are avoiding me. Now I am left with a vehicle that I have to fix out of my pocket. I continued to try and get answers out of Allstate and finally I got a manager. I was told by the manager the claim had been denied due to lack of evidence. Seriously Allstate? There was a witness had talked to the driver only 10 minutes prior to the accident stating he was drunk, and the police report even says he was. The driver went to jail for DUI and "that's not enough evidence"? I am very dissatisfied with Allstate and will be seeking legal action for compensation.
Ha "your in good hands" yeah right!. DO NOT GET ALLSTATE INSURANCE. They are probably by far the worst insurance company ever and they will do whatever they have to get out of paying a claim!
Hey everyone, who has Allstate, lets just pay into their bank account and NEVER receive anything in return except "sorry, we cant help you"!
I was hit in my BMW 740i by one of their insured, was sent a joke of a quote by the adjuster after taking all of the pictures and doing their job for them. They tried to put me in a Mitsubishi Mirage while my BMW was getting repaired which is way to small for my work equipment. Explained to them why I needed a bigger vehicle for my work and was given a Toyota Corolla, a tiny tin can also not sufficient for me to do my job. This is after they had made this "big sacrifice" and promised me a mid size sedan. They never put the upgrade in the system. I can't even use this car and will drop it back off today. I will be borrowing another car from a family member. This whole thing has been a nightmare and they have done nothing to make the situation better. Horrible company if you have to make a claim with them. Avoid if you can.
Our Motor Home has been in Repair Shop since June to get a Comprehensive Claim fixed. It is now October and we haven't been able to use our Motor Home all Summer because Allstate refuses to pay to get our Motor Home Repair finished. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, "BAD HANDS" SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TROUBLE BUY INSURANCE ELSWHERE!
This company very very very bad they jeating the pepole they gave me high price for my home insurance also they charged me for 4 years double price for my 3 cars we have account with them under my son name since 2016 and they took from me 2400 doller per year for the 3 car but farm state they gave me 1200 per year! Really they are very bad people. I changed my insurance company and make it with farm state instead of this ugly company Allstate. I hope they will loose one day all their customer because they are bad jeating the pepole with double price oh my God oh my God double price 3 years I was blind. They are hateful over the phone and they refuse to pay. Tried to offer us $1000. What a joke. Our van has been undriveable for 5 months now. There's probably $3000 damage and we're supposed to pay 10% and yet it was not our fault at all. They are CROOKED and like I said they are hateful to people.
My home after 16 years has been re-zoned to a flood zone. My agent Shaun has helped me tremendously! This agent has helped, listened sympathized through all my issues of trying to save my home due to the high cost of flood insurance. I can not say enough but THANK YOU Shaun for sticking with me! My Flood insurance policy decreased. He called me personally to give me the good news. Now that to me is a GREAT agent and customer service!
First I want to mention I had been an Allstate customer for 17 years for both my car and house. After a mild and remediation service that I had hired noticed I had hail damage on my roof. I called my agent several times and to no avail he did not respond. Afterwards, I contacted Allstate directly and a third party roofing company came to inspect the damage. After he was finished, he connected me to the Allstate appraiser only to be told Allstate had approved $534 in damages so I will be receiving a $34 check since I have a $500 deductible. I told him not to bother since I don't want a claim on my record. I had received the check anyways so I called Allstate to complain. I was told there is nothing they can do because of state regulations. However they said next time I should contact my agent and he could walk me through it. Long story short, when my policy came up for renewal the premiums skyrocketed due to the claim on the roof. Allstate insisted it was not the case and again I should contact my insurance agent. I did try calling several more times to no avail. So I shopped around for insurance only to find out I have been overpaying approximately $1,300 more in yearly premiums. As for that agent I couldn't get a hold of, he had died a month prior to putting in for the claim. I was not contacted about this until 3 months after his death. Google Allstate and it has a ton of negative reviews! Even the American Association of Lawyers wrote an article about their deceptive practices.
First, they got the date of the accident incorrect, so to another insurance company it looks like an additional claim. They say they can not remove it, they just show it as closed... as a closed claim. The agent has no clue of how to do anything. Anytime we called the office, we spoke to the assistant. They had no idea there were 2 additional people on our insurance that did not belong on the policy---we found out at renewal time. Then had to spend time to get reimbursed for paying for the extra people for OVER 1 YR. Then, we receive a notice TN Secure Power of Attorney to turn over my car... we NEVER made a claim... WTF is wrong with them? When we called Allstate, we spoke to someone who spoke broken English... I AM SO GLAD WE SWITCHED INSURANCE COMPANIES TO A COMPANY WHO REPRESENTATIVES ARE IN AMERICA AND SPEAK ENGLISH... ALLSTATE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. I switched my home and auto and feel so much more secure if something should happen. I have told everyone I know NOT to go to ALLSTATE. EVER. FOR ANYTHING..
If you ever need to make a claim be prepared for a fight. The will do everything in their power to not pay. They don't car about only your premiums. They truly are criminals. Don't be fooled your not in good hands you just get the finger.
My mother was kicked out of her hotel when Allstate refused to pay for it or the additional secondary damage of mold, asbestos... apparently Servpro is allowed to not remove wet building materials...
Then when you send an estimate for actual rebuild.$47,000+ you get "your claim is closed!"

I made a valid claim on renter's insurance policy bought from Allstate. Allstate claims representative, Mr. Kirkner, yelled at me over phone that the security deposit is never returned to the renter and that I bought the lowest premium renter's insurance from Allstate. He completely discredited the Allstate product on the phone and took no responsibility. He never contacted the land lord or the property manager to get any more information. Now this claim, as a risky claim, is on my credit report forever. I can no longer obtain any renter's insurance or homeowner's insurance. How can I be a risky applicant if I am sent a proper written document by the property manager at the time of the move-out? The Homeowner Association, landlord and the property manager reported a written incidence of damage and have held $950 from me and this is the amount I paid from my pocket. The fact that All State couldn't do its job by saying that a working number of the landlord and the property manager didn't get them connected, has nothing to do with my being risky. It's just gross incompetence of their team.
Allstate will lie cheat you out of your claim never buy home insurance with Allstate they cheat me out of my claim left me homeless lost my family because of Financial stree.
I have been dealing with Allstate for over a month. The property damages their insured caused exceed $70k. Allstate was kind enough to send me a check for $4000 for full payment. I am under no obligation to deal with an insurance company that is being completely unreasonable. This means that the person that was paying all those premiums to stay out of court, will now be in court. He will most likely end up paying out of pocket and have to go after Allstate for breach of contract. If this sounds like fun to you, go ahead and buy insurance from Allstate. If not, run the other way.
DO NOT USE Allstate Insurance... worst company... had hail damage this summer... to date I have talked to 39 people each one telling me a different story and wanting different quotes... to begin they low ball me on damages and when they sent someone out to inspect damage... he was actually Allstate own contractor telling me they would handle all... but when I said I would get my own repair contractors everything went down hill from there... at the same time they sent out their own contractor I did have a Facetime with an actual adjuster but he was worthless telling me first I had to get quotes for damage and then it would be up to them to approve... At the same time as my claim, a friend next door also had hail damage to his son's truck... Allstate low balled him, writing a check for $3500... when he took it in for repairs... the actual cost to repair was $7900... when Allstate when to auto shop... they said sorry they missed somethings... right, just trying to low ball thinking that they would just accept the $3500 check and not get repairs... BTW in Texas... Allstate is rated one of the 10 worst insurance companies in the state...
