When reordering the price for my dogs pills were always more,, IF you just clicked without really checking the price. Look back & you may see what you first paid for an item & what one click reordering costs. I messaged allivet & said NO MORE, I will do business with Chewy. They emailed me saying they were sending a monthly auto ship. I called & said NO NOT SEND. I was told I set this auto ship up in May of 2019. I asked how many monthly shipments had been sent already. I was told none yet, this was the first in OCT 2019. That didnt make sense, They would not stop the shipment, even though it had not left the warehouse. Now I was charged & they want me to print a return label & ship it back. Look back at why you started using allivet & what you are and have paid since. Then try to stop the shipment.

Ordering process is easy and quick. Unfortunately, I was looking for a little more. Here it is, nine days after I placed my order and I am still waiting for the order to arrive. Better yet, my puppy is waiting for the order to arrive. According to the tracking, the item is still in Florida (where the company ships from) and I'm in California. Nine days later!
At first I thought it was my fault and that I accidentally clicked on "pony express" for shipping method but quickly realized that it doesn't take 10 days to travel across the country on horseback.
If you're ordering something for a senior dog, order when it's still a pup. If you're ordering medicine for a sick animal, make your funeral arrangements because the item probably won't get there in time. I'll find a different company (a reliable one) next time.

Well I started my dog on Metacam from Allivet not realizing it was a product of Mexico. My dog has used Metacam from my Vet for 2 years for leg pain with great results. After about a little over a week my dog has developed excruciating pain. I don't know why as the only thing different I changed was adding the new bottle of metacam. I found out from a Vet that Mexican products are NOT REGULATED! And I read too that some of their employees are not credited to work in pharmaceutical. So currently since last night I have purchased a new bottle from my vet. Had to give him a double dose last night because of his pain. This morning gave him the new dose again along with his other meds, he has not cried out.
Had I known Medacam came from a unregulated location, I would have never purchased it. I had called them 2 times on the rediculious smell that's unusual. The last call was to corporate and they claimed normal. I'm taking this bottle to a compounding pharm to see if they can identify what's in it.
It's just strange this happened after Allivets usage of metacam.
I've been through too much for the past 5 days! Don't know what to do. Going back to the Vet in the morning..

My Service Dog Chandler has been an incredible Service Dog for almost eleven (11) years. He has saved my life twice and daily helped me navigate my life. I have PTSD, COPD, Type II Diabetes, a Pacemaker, and several conditions caused directly from Agent Orange. Chandler was the best Service Dog anyone could have ever wished for. Last year Chandler became unable to work as he had developed Diabetes Type I (insulin-dependent), Cushings Disease and he had difficulty seeing.

As things progressed it got to the point that Chandler was completely blind, was frightened by every little noise, his blood glucose levels could no longer be controlled, he had a terrible cough and his lungs were quickly began filling up with fluid. So very sad, we had to put Chandler down last Friday and it was like losing a child.

I want to say that I have never had any issues or situations arise that Allivet wasn't able to resolve in short order. I had to cancel all further shipments of insulin and other medications that were on auto-ship. Yesterday my wife got an email from Allivet telling how sorry they were to hear about Chandler. They credited us back for the last insulin order they sent which we both thought was an incredible gesture on the part of Allivet. They didn't have to do that, so they have a good heart and we appreciate "everything" they have done for our family. Thank you so very much, you impressed us with your sympathy, kindness and excellent service you have given to us.
