I have been a loyal customer since Feb 2018, and I order frequently ($200 worth in the past week). Today, I had to call regarding an issue with one of the medications I received. The prescription was for 1/2 of a 10mg tablet every 12hrs. They sent me unusable tablets (they disintegrate when you try using a pill-cutter). When I called, I was told that the pharmacy knew they sent me tablets that couldn't be cut! Wth? You would think that would have warranted a call to me?!?! Anyways, I asked if they could send me scored tablets (which I know exist) or pre-cut them with their professional machines. I was told no. I asked if they could just send 5mg tablets to equal the 10mg that was prescribed (I of course would pay the difference), and I was again told no. The only solution they gave was to have my vet write another prescription for 5mg tablets twice daily that I could then mail again to Allivet and wait again for the new order to arrive which would take no less than 7-10 days. First of all my vet will only provide paper prescriptions for outside medications. Second, she's not going to redo a prescription for the exact same thing different pill! I've now been put in a very difficult position to try and convince my vet to give me another paper prescription so that someone local can fill my prescription fast! I'm not sure how you keep good customers with this type of service, but I certainly won't be using Allivet in the future!
I have been purchasing meds for Allivet for several years and have found their customer service to be excellent. The few times I have called to delay an auto-ship, I get an immeidate response.
Easy to use online ordering and you have products I need and great customer service when needed. I have ordered prescriptions for my dog and the pharmacy dept has been helpful too.
I've been a customer of Allivet for several years, and I've always been satisfied with the quality of products, substantially lower prices as compared to my Vet, the quick delivery, and the overall quality of customer service.
Not reliable about auto ship of prescriptions for my dog. Not reliable about communication of auto ship when out of stock. After April shipment failure, I called and was told it was out of stock. Confirmed by phone call the medication was in stock early May. On May 10th received email would be shipped 5/16/2020. On 5/20/2020 called because have not received medication, gave my dog the last of his prescription, and was told it was out of stock. NO ONE informed me it would not be arriving. I am out of medication for my dog as of this morning and now am scrambling for medication. VERY not reliable.
We had a bit of a hiccup with timeliness of fulfilling our first orders, AND customer service and the supervisor were excellent in responding and helping to expedite our order. I love the CHAT service, and the website is very user friendly as I have just placed my second order. As we have shopped around to ensure we get best pricing for the many prescriptions we now have for our beloved Jax, as long as we can have a more timely turnaround Allivet will be our go to source now!
Price is right and online service exceptional. We have ordered from Allivet for years and continue to use them year after year.

Thanks for your excellent services and hard to beat prices. Whenever I had delays were because the vet office did not responded after several attempts and Allivet emailed me every single time. The vet needed to do some tests before releasing the scripts since I needed the meds asap so I bought them from the vet at a much higher price and called Allivet to cancelled the order. I explained the situation they cancelled my order no problem and returned my money right away. Never had issues with the delivery. I have been a customer for almost 2 yrs. I trully recomend them. I love my dog Hercules and Allivet prices make it affordable for me to care for him..
First time using Allivet, but now they'll be my first choice! Hopefully delivery will be as quick, but expecting some delay because of covid-19.
Hopefully my notes re the GOG15 will get to accounting. Did not see where to add it to order. Love this product. So easy, effective, and our fur baby Jersey thinks it's pretty tasty.
Outstanding customer service in a day when that is rare, if even available. Phone staff are polite and helpful, and they even sent me my pets medication at NO CHARGE when my order took a little longer for than normal. They overnighted the meds so I had them in time for my dog with Cushings Disease. This company puts positive action behind their words. So happy with Allivet.
I order essential medicine for our dog. Our dog has Congestive Heart Failure. I was told the prescription would ship the following day. One week later it never arrived. I called and was told the Rx did not ship, because they have been out of the medication for over a month. Our Vet is closed due to COVID-19, and now we are scrambling to refill the prescription, since we only have 2 days of medication left. I called Allivet, and asked why they did not tell me they did not have the medication in stock... and they did not know when they would. I simply would have ordered from a company that did have it in stock. They said it is they did not want to lose any business! Even though they are putting out dogs live at risk!
I placed an order and received misleading info via phone and online chat, They actually claimed that they were faxing my vet, when in fact, there was no contact. I wasted 5 days waiting for them to fulfill order. I only went with them bc we are miles apart. I spoke with multiple people 4x and all were, well seek another pharmacy if you need items delivered w/i a timely fashion.

At least $20 cheaper than vet. Easy to order. Have never had a problem getting the medication in the time they said it would come.
Great Company Easy to use Website and ordering process. They had what I needed and the auto refill is great
I ordered Apoquel for my dog for the second time through Allivet. The first time I ordered the meds, there were no issues. This time when the package arrived, it was empty and the adhesive seal strip had not been removed to secure the envelope. Presumably the Apoquel fell out of the package somewhere in transit. When I called Allivet, they took my information and told me that they would FedEx a new order to me immediately. When I asked how long this would take, I was told that it would ship to me overnight. When I failed to receive an email telling me that my package was shipped, I called back. I actually got the original individual that took my "re-order" (Francisco) and he then informed me that he was unsure when exactly I would get my package. That was Monday, and today is Friday and I have yet to receive the package. My dog has severe allergies and I explained to a subsequent Allivet supervisor that I need the pills immediately. Francisco had blamed FedEx for the original miscue / problem with not sealing the package, and the supervisor was slightly more accommodating. He credited me $20 (big deal... it was a $100 order) and told me to go find a local vet to acquire more pills until my Allivet order comes in (whenever). He could not provide me any information on when I would get the medicine for my dog. All-in-all, this will be my last commercial experience with Allivet. There are too many better options to acquire what I need for my dog online. Poor customer service, Allivet.
Compared pricing against other major pet medication services on line + their prices were the cheapest, with free shipping + easy ordering system. Will be using them from now on.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
