I was able to find what I was looking for, which can be a challenge even at other large book sellers. In your search engine there is a difference between "500" and "Five Hundred", for example. It would be nice if it were a bit smarter about this.

Searching for books from individual sellers seems to be ineffective. For example, after ordering a book by John Graves, I went to the same seller and searched John Graves to no avail. Additionally, I ordered a couple of books from same seller, hoping this would help with shipping. It did not. Great bargains, but shipping gets high quickly.

Tried changing my payment type because I didn't know the billing address. Kept getting an error that the zip code wasn't right. Couldn't get it to change. Spent 3 days on it. Finally got the billing address for the first card and got the item ordered. They sent me an email on how to make the change but it didn't match what I was getting on my screen.

I've been buying books through Alibris for years, and only had one questionable experience. Pretty good record, I'd say!

I found what I want in a really good price, easy checkout

My items' default address on this site did not work. Instead my order today reflected that it is being sent to the wrong address. So I am scrambling contacting the sellers to try and get this rectified. Your list of ordered items should include the address where the order was sent. This makes it tough to correct mistakes or to catch them.

I love this store! It's always nice to be able to buy used instead of new, and I love not giving my money to buy corporations. I've never had a problem with any orders, and love using alibris for gifts as well!
