The web site is very easy to use. I quickly found the book I was looking for.
Ordered a rare book that i had been searching for a number of years and was pleased that Alibris had contacted me to advise they had found a copy. Although it cost $120 i was willing to pay it as I wanted the book. However, this is when the troubles started. I waited weeks to get any information on delivery, then when I complained surprise surprise i got a response. Then waited weeks and no book, so complained again and surprise surprise i got a shipping date. I then waited weeks and weeks and no delivery. So I complained again and surprise surprise i was told that i had to wait another month to see if the book would arrive and on the last day of the month it arrived. The package had only been mailed 2 weeks earlier and what was most disappointing was the book was a photo copy made up book that probably cost $5 to make. Asked for a refund and told that i wasnt going to get one.
DO NOT BUY ANY BOOK THAT IS RARE FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!
It wasn't as easy to sort through the various options as other book sellers offer

Very confusing about free shipping - instead of telling that I qualified for free shipping before putting in Credit card info, it waited until after I put it in and accepted order. The problem is that too often with many sellers is that once the credit card info is gtiven, it is too late to verify discounts
I don't like this form as it doesn't allow me to easily opt out. I don't want my name or initials used, though I am a happy customer and regularly use this site.

Is there a way to search by seller so all books ordered are mailed from the same place, presumably cheaper?
