Shipping was not updated (and nearly tripled!) until AFTER I entered my credit card details. Two steps prior, the site knew my address was in Canada, so I don't appreciate the bait and switch. Do better. Show accurate shipping info on the product page, before I'm 3/4 through checkout.

Shopping was good. Had all the titles I was looking for and the prices are every shoppers dream...BUT... the shipping is outrageious! I ended up going back to Thrifbooks. While Thriftbooks overall book prices are a bit more, the shipping is free and overall costs much less. This causes me to feel alibris is a bit of a scam. "Hey look at these amazing prices!" Mwahhh, gouge...we'll get the customer on the shipping.
I wish the shipping promotion ($39 minimum) would show up earlier in the checkout process. I wasted 24 hours inquiring with customer service!
