Pick up was a little confusing at the Asheville airport, perhaps due to construction, but the staff is very helpful and it's a quick and easy pick up and drop off

We recently obtained an SUV from the Alamo location at Newark Airport. We had issues with flights that impacted our rental contract. The staff at the airport were so incredibly accommodating, professional and pleasant. Truly a 5 star experience with all involved but special shout out to James, Gio and Carrie. Thank you for making our experience so pleasant and seamless. You are THE BEST and we will most certainly be using your company for future rentals.

Good: we had to replace the key-battery ourselves, but got a USD 20 discount, which was very good.

Rent a Bronco and it was excellent the process with coordination through Costco Travel, pick up the unit and drop off at the airport in a shuttle bus. Excellent!

Flight from Dallas to Tulsa was continuously delayed and canceled, need to drive the last four hours to Tulsa, the guy at the front desk was very friendly and got is in a car and on our way in 10 minutes, very much appreciated, thank you!

The only real positive about renting from Alamo was that the employees were really nice folks. In particular, Tonja was incredibly sympathetic and receptive. The car itself was problematic.

Car wasn't ready for pick up, and they gave us a vehicle with broken "bright" lights. We were traveling through the mountains and there are no street lights or any lights at all, so as you can imagine brights are very important on streets that have no lights, are covered in wild life, and have some pretty intense turns. We called to file a complaint and I was told that I had to talk to someone about it when I dropped the car off, but with my flight being early in the morning I had to drop my car off at 3am so there wasn't anyone to talk to about the safety hazard. The person that I talked to on the phone seemed to not care at all about the issue.

Lately we have been in car rental hell with a few of your competitors. Problems with vehicles, bad customer service, and erroneous charges. When our travel agent booked us with you we expected more of the same. We are very happy to report that we were blown away with the service received from Alamo. You get 5 stars all around!
Being able to choose the vehicle within our vehicle class was the first surprise.
Stellar customer service was next followed by a vehicle that was in great shape and performed the way we expected.
Add to that the easiest rental and return processes we have ever experienced, Alamo has gained a repeat customer today!

Alamo had a good price. Even better, it opens until 1am at airport (IAH), so when my flight was delayed, I was still able to get my car.
