I always trust Agoda for my SE Asia bookings. Huge range of local hotels and transparent prices.
Never experienced a problem that was not solved to my satisfaction.
We arrived in Indonesia in March 2016 and booked a hotel for 13 night though Agoda. On the day of check-in Agoda charded my credit card and then decided to cancel our booking. I called their customer services that advised me that our booking had been cancelled because our payment was flagged as "suspicious". The credit card used was under my name, had it for a few years and never had any problems booking with it. Agoda customer service representative said that they will refund my money within 10 business days! Asked to speak to the manager 3 times and every time was told that the manager is too busy to take the call! So, basically, we are in a foreign country right now with no booking and no money for approximately 2 weeks...
I have been using Agoda now for a number of years in various countries and have always found good deals and service, I will stick with this company, no bad experiences, Gordon Mitchell

It is so easy to deal with them and if you have any problem with your designated hotel, they are very accomodating to help you and they will even try to call your designated hotel without any additional charges
Easy to navigate. Guest reviews are very helpful when deciding on which hotel to book. Map of the area around the hotel of your choice is a plus so you know what are around the hotel.
Agoda always very efficient and prompt excellent booking service for me over some years now
