Do not waste your time booking your trip through this company. They actually use another company to book your vacation and will not 1- get in touch with your hotel for any changes/cancellations. 2- they will claim their other company is trying to get in touch with the hotel to make changes and then you contact the hotel and no one has contacted the not what so ever on behalf of your reservation. 3- they are extremely rude and not willing to help you out.
Do not use, not happy at all and will not be booking through them again.
Agoda became a horrible place. Let me down big time. Avoid. I used it only when absolutely have to. Avoid
My husband booked a hotel through Agoda we drove 3hours only for hotel tell us reservation were cancelled. It's the day before Thanksgiving. I called Agoda and the front desk lady says the have no availability. They find us a room it has bugs, water leak from the shower to the bedroom, they gave us no towels or washcloths we had to go out a purchase ourselves. Nobody notified us reservation had been cancelled due to covid. Still fighting with them to refund me a portion of my money back. Don't not book with Agoda trust reviews
Agoda will take you for a ride and will neither refund your money when you cancel a booking or will allow you to contact them.
With booking ID:- *******, I have been chasing Agoda for close to a month, but, Agoda is not refunding my money, I think they are on a mission not to refund customer money. The best part is, their India customercare number, they have published on their site is always switched off.
Now I am exploring to drag them to court.
Hello. I'm a frequent traveller across India. And for the first time I tried booking in Agoda and after making payment I have not received any confirmation Email or Message... I called the hotel directly to ask whether my booking is made, but they told there is no booking in my name. And when I go and check my booking in Agoda site there is no bookings at all. Have never experienced like this in any other booking sites after booking more than 500 hotel bookings. We can't even reach them as they have no contact numbers to contact. We just have to mail them, which I think they won't even reply. I don't know how to contact them. I think this is the new way of making money by showing attractive deals & make customers pay online & cheat them by no booking..
Wasted my time. Put an employee up for a week and one of the extended for a week and could not get an answer in over an hour's time. I highly recommend NOT using Agoda
Can't even get through a real person to change my booking I have been tested positive and wanted to just change the dates since I am unable to travel on the booked date and guess want auto chat doesn't work it disconnect automatically.
Calling customer care no it comes switched off and dropped an email then no reply at all. I contacted the hotel they say to contact Agoda as the booking has been done by them the only Agoda can change the booking dates.
Can't even get a human on the phone for at once. And webchat gets disconnected every time. DONT BOOK FROM AGODA.COM even if you get a free room for your whole trip.
Just had another memorable celebration at my family's favorite hotel-Okada Manila last Oct 30-31,2020. After 4 rebookings due to the covid 19 pandemic lockdown we finally had our much awaited delayed quarantine birthday celebration at Okada Manila. More than the elegant ambience, its the consistent warm, homey feeling and special treatment that we receive from the staff that make every visit exciting and more thrilling everytime! We will keep coming back for more as we continue to make beautiful memories of our family celebrations here. We love Okada Manila very much! Till next time!

This is horrible service, they double booked me, when I called to complain, they said 60d to resolve it. This is a scam, do NOT use them!
I booked a room with a mountain view and a jetted tub. There was no view. The hotel allowed pets but agoda did not put a disclaimer that pets cost extra. I spent an extra $40 for my 17lb dog. Also, hotel claimed to serve breakfast. They had packaged muffins and apples. Hardly what I'd consider a breakfast. The booking with agoda was easy but considering all information about the hotel was not transparent, I wouldn't book with them again.
Booked a weekend away for 4 people (2 hours from my home to spend time with a friend suffering mental health issues due to covid isolation) in September paid and booked with their subsidiary company (nustay) we considered changing the date and were sent requests for additional adjustment fees, next day they went bankrupt, turns out Agoda (the parent company had notified the motel the day before (while emailing us for additional payment) and requested a cancellation and refund of my booking to them... we weren't even notified and knew nothing of the cancellation until arriving to find this super dodgy company had cancelled and taken our money the day before declaring their subsidiary company bankrupt... god knows how many people have booked accommodation after finally being able to travel to have these unethical shysters cash in their booking
Hello This is Gurleen and i made booking on Agoda.com today at around 12:00 am in morning from Australia. As my family is travelling in India so i thought i should have to book the hotel for them and then by mistake i chose agoda.com. I chose the hotel Golden Tulip which is in Jaipur and it was around $32 for single room and then i chose nights from 16-18 october and chose two rooms where they made total of $137 and then they asked about my card details and then i filled details of my wife's and then $137 deducted and then they showed the page and asked "Sorry for inconvenience, We are facing technical issues please contact customer care where all the numbers when you called are asked about booking id which you never got except that message of ‘Technical issues'
And then again i tried by choosing hotel again and same thing that i had done before and again i filled my card details and again they showed same error of ‘technical issues' after deducting amount of $137 AUD.
They have deduct $274 AUD in total where you got just an error and technical difficulties and i did not sleep from a night and trying to calling them but they all are not responding they just replying by email about we did not found any booking associated with this email id and even i have gave all the things, bank statements and all the details but then again they asked the same. Everytime you will get reply from different man.
Its enough...
They are doing fraud and they took money.

I wanted to give 0 star rating but unfortunately there is no option for 0 rating. I booked the hotel from agoda.com and the free breakfast was included in the booking. When I checked into the hotel they told me that agoda.com has not provided any confirmation mail to them for free breakfast.
The hotel staff showed us an email from agoda.com where the breakfast was not included in our booking.
There was a difference in confirmation mail which was sent to customer and hotel.
They deny to provide the breakfast and i lost my money because of this worthless website agoda.com. I request you all to not to book from agoda.com
I tried to book a hotel on the Agoda website, when I tried to pay an error message popped up and said they could not take my booking. I tried a second time and received the same error message. After no success I booked a different hotel via a different website.
Days later, I received an email from Agoda asking how my stay was going! To my surprise they had charged me. I received NO emails from Agoda of confirmation of a booking. I received NO email confirmation from the hotel that they had booked me under. Or any reminder emails that you would normally receive when you going through a booking website.
When I contacted them they said there had been no issues with my booking. I explained I had not received any confirmations and was told via the website a booking could not be made and that I was unaware they had taken my money.
They then said I checked into the hotel and stayed there. When I asked for proof of this they changed their story and said I hadn't checked in and I was being changed for not showing up!
They will not take responsibility for their error and will not return my money they wrongfully took from me. This has being going on for two months now.
This was the first time that I used Agoda and it was the cheapest option for a weekend getaway to Panama City Beach. It had mixed reviews but for a 2 night stay, I didn't think there was anything they could possibly mess up. Take into consideration that I live in New Orleans and there was a category 3 hurricane forecasted for that weekend 6 days before my trip. I called to see if I could possibly reschedule my trip to the following weekend due to the hurricane hitting where I live. Usually people would still wanna go but I was planning to leave my cats at home and didn't want to do that if a hurricane would be hitting my home. The customer service was terrible, they barely speak English and have robot-like answers. They are not understanding of anyone's situations.
In short, they said I cannot cancel. I kept reiterating that I wanted to reschedule but they didn't understand. I contacted my hotel directly and they said it was in their policy that I could reschedule my trip due to a hurricane being in my area. I called agoda back and told them but they said that they had to get approval from the "third party" that they used to book my room. They told me I'd hear back in 24 hours. They'd call and if they can't get ahold of me, they'd email.
72 hours later, never received any call or email back. Luckily for me, the hurricane shifted a tiny bit to the west and I was able to go on my trip.
Another thing that happened: I showed up at the hotel and my booking was for a room with double beds when my booking confirmation from agoda said king room suite. They said that's how the "third party" sent in the booking. Luckily, the hotel had a king suite available that night. Will never ever use agoda again.
If I could Give 0 stars I would. I booked through them and before the cancelation date I asked Then if they could alter the reservation to add one day at the end of our trip and cancel the first day. They said they would no problem. They waited til it was after the cancellation window and then preceded to tell me it's too late and it's after the cancelation window. Now it is 3 days before my trip, The last person with their company told me they probably weren't going to refund me and that I should Report it to my credit card so I did And rebooked it and they waited til The trip was over and refunded me for that 1 day I had Asked for in the beginning so since they did that my credit card is refusing to refund the rest of the trip. Now I am Stuck $1500 out of pocket that I paid Twice for a trip. They are one of the worst companies there is no manager to speak to and the customer service agent who emailed me had a no reply email so you could not even email back.
Deceptive advertising. Their website shows "Free Cancellation" with the lowest rate, which is the non-refundable rate. Minutes after booking the non-refundable rate, I contacted them through chat and they refused to change my booking to the free cancellation.

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
