Worst behaviour trust me these rooms management are Scammers. At first we booked here for 6 rooms before 2 months to check in date obviously at that time price was less and days came near while 10 days left to check in I had called manager to ask some details at that time he is saying we can't give u accommodation for this property because of less price what nonsense is this I booked 2 months before coz I get for cheaper price at that time they took booking now all these drama that property manager name "Sushant" is doesn't respond to guest property he speaks rude just before check in these people hospitality is so worst what if I had checked in and got this type of hospitality. I booked through agoda they are just waste less company they can't do anything than apologise. This property manger doesn't have manners to inform guest regarding accommodation. Assume wat if I had reached property with 12 guests and got stuck in this situation horrible thank god it didn't happen like that. I would have given zero stars for this scammers but no option. At last I would surely not recommend this property to anyone. I have a travelling team each one of them going yo raise google review and sue in consumer complaint for this worst behaviour from property side.

If I can rate them 0 star I would do but I can't put a review with out sadly put a star. Guys be careful of this scam, they cheated us and canceled our reservation after booking 5 month in advance and they are saying we want your credit card and is ID PICTURES ( which sadly we sent) still they canceled our reservation so they can sell it for higher rate at the last minute and they told us if we want we can re book on triple the price! Very concerning website and representative talk like a robot and do nothing beside cheating you! They ruined our very expensive vacation for over seas I hope there will be some legal work against them as they are really a full scam! Please be aware and don't go through the fraud we went through!
They take the money and yet in case of dispute tell you that it's the hotel that needs to agree to refund! How tough is it to accept that you are cheating your consumers. What's a process or a policy if it doesn't have the customers interest at hand?
THEY WONT ADMIT THEIR MISTAKES AND BLAME IT ON ME BECAUSE I CAN'T PROVIDE A SCREENSHOT OF A PHONECALL DONE +5 MONTHS AGO
I booked with them (sadly) a room for Dec 2022 and due to personal reasons called them on Oct 2022 before going through surgery and asked them to cancel, assumed they did their job and my mistake didn't double check (which I shouldn't have to anyway) turned out they never cancelled! I found out when I was charged a no show fee for $830 USD. Called them told them this wasn't right and I have been trying to solve this since then. They claim they have no record of my phone call (of course why would they have a record of their mistakes) and that I only called them on DEC (when I was charged) and by that time I was outside their cancellation policy. I've tried escalating this with every team possible, it's been 3 months of going back and forth with no success at all, so tired of this and so stressed because of it.
Submitted a complaint on BBB they contacted me and asked me for a screenshot of my call (it was 5 months ago) I don't have it, therefore I'm wrong...not only they are charging me for something they shouldn't (because someone didn't do their job) I'm so stressed out because of this I've invested so many times sending documents talking to them, my bank, the hotel etc etc they are hurting me financially and emotionally.
They won't really look into anything just Oh you don't have that, sorry then you are wrong and we coincidentally don't have the record of you contacting us before December so it's your fault.
I will never ever use this service again, I'll make sure I share my experience with as many people as possible and even though I'm tired of this I will keep fighting the charge because it is the right thing to do, I'm not paying for their mistakes.
Horrible experience. Inspite of booking a room and with generated ID, I had still been declined room at a midnight, when I reached. Pls coordinate with yur vendors n communicate us in prior if any issues, instead of all such chaos..
Scammed warning.! Please do not give your bank details to Agoda. Agoda has joined with some other travel scammers agents one of them called Nusatrip they stole my money and charged my booking with multiple taxes, so they all took a profit from my money. They don't tell you at the beginning until they stole the money then show the other company name. One of them is called NUSATRIP his name is Abdullah Syafei. It's shown on my receipt. And he used my phone number. Please be aware. I hope some people will take the to justice for stealing a lot of customers' money. I have all the proof and be careful once you book return tickets, they will only give you one way. So they're expecting you to book another ticket.? That's how they make easy money. They are a bunch of scammers. Agoda bad reputation for you, scammers.! Thumbs down
Agoda site, and later confirmation e-mail quoted a "total" price, which said "total charge, including tax and fees". When I got to hotel, they said they had had many problems with Agoda and that there was a $30 per day, per guest PLUS tax "facilities fee" -- which totaled $137.68 in my case. They would not check me or my work associate in unless we agree to pay the extra fee, and said I could turn to Agoda later for a refund.
After my stay, I contacted Agoda and they claimed that the extra fee was mentioned on some obscure tab of their web page that wasn't visible, or necessary to the purchase process. In other words, they buried the fee where no normal purchaser would have any reason to see it, SAID the advertised price was all inclusive, and refused to refund the extra hotel charge. In other words, flat out fraudulent behavior.
Their advertised prices are sometimes the best, but you never know when they'll sandbag you. Steer clear.
Would give minus stars if possible! Booked a hotel room through them, we had one night refunded but agoda didn't want to give back the money for 1 night they wanted to keep some of it. We complained and each time they brought the figure down and threatened if we continued to complain they would keep the money for the room. They even changed the currency at one point, we payed in pounds but they changed the currency to Chinese currency. Eventually got our refund after 2 weeks of emailing and arguing but £5 short of what the hotel refunded us. In my book this is theft and we won't use them again, they are owned by Expedia so they have also lost we will use a different booking company from now on
I tried to amend a booking due to a human error with my booking and Customer Support person Nicole didn't care in the slightest. They gave me the runaround for about an hour and have now stolen my money.
The lack of empathy and customer service is disgusting.
This is the worst 3rd party to use because they don't care about their customers at all.

Once I reach the hotel they denied taking the booking. I have lot of luggage with me and the hotel i have booked Oyo town house not exist here. They are using some different name and denied my booking.agoda contact support is pathetic actually they don't resolve the issue and it's difficult to contact them.don't waste your money and time to book from there app and website.
The trip made me so very upset! First of all I booked two queen beds but when I got to the hotel the beds we're full size beds and when I asked the front desk I was told they do not have queen beds on property! I called the booking agency and was told that I could get my money back if they confirm I booked queen beds and did not receive the correct beds. After it was confirmed I still was unable to receive my money back! I was told by the front desk if I wanted to upgrade to a bigger bed I will have to pay extra money! The worse of all my 2 years old fell off the bed while we we're sleeping! Agoda did not care and the front desk did not care! I was offered from agoda supervisor offered me a refund of one night even though I only been at the hotel for a hour not even a full day then I would have checked out and find another hotel with 3 kids in the middle of the night! This is the worse and not only I WILL NOT RECOMMEND AGODA BUT I WILL SPREAD THE WORD! The staff at the hotel was rude and unprofessional and not helpful at all! I will spread the word about them as well! Luckily I am a blogger
Agoda do their bookings through bookjng.com and it's very disappointing since they do not reply to any email or make any changes if you have. It's always better to book directly with the hotel.
Horrible service from Agoda
I made an error on the date, I entered Feb 4,2023 and should have entered Feb 8,2023. I immediately recognized the error and tried to cancel and amend the date. Agoda has refused my refund and I apparently paid for a hotel 15 hrs away on the other side of the planet, that I did not use. Because of the time difference at home and the hotel, I was already within the 24hr time margin of making the cancellation successful. Not happy with agoda at all.
PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY THEY DONT DO REFUND NOR CANCELATION THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY & LIE ON THE HOTEL.! THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMPLOYEE OR RUDE & WILL HANG UP ON YOU... AND REFUSE TO ALLOW YOU TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR...! AND THE ACCENT IS SO STRONG YOU CAN BARELY UNDERSTAND WHAT ANYONE IS SAYING SO BE READY TO ASKED THEM TO REPEAT THEMSELVES.!
We had terrible issues with the hotel we stayed, blood on every linen, no pillow, cleanliness issues so we complained to Agoda as hotel did nothing and after a month finally they have resolved our complaint. We have to wait for another month for the refund though, we do hope we don't have to chase for the refund after a month.
Positive thing is Agoda always replied to our email within 24 hours so that was really a good thing. They didn't made a big fuss about compensating us despite the hotel was not co-operating with them and was not replying to their email.
Adlers hotel Innsbruck doesn't have any double rooms, all the rooms have zip and link beds. They just join two single bed together without any mattress topper so the beds are very comfortable. Selling Double bedroom when physical it doesn't exist is misleading customers. We think Agoda should take this feedback on board and stop advertising double beds on their website for this hotel.
On 11/18/2022, I scheduled a fun Aunt weekend and booked a large 2 queen bed room well in advance for 1/13/2023 through Agoda. The goal for the room was the kids to stay overnight and be able to swim then we eat pizza and read scary stories at bedtime. I called the hotel several times between date of booking and arrival to ensure the pool was functioning. We get there...Everyone piles in all their stuff and I tell them they can get in their bathing suits once we get to the room...Sorry Pool is Out of Order. WHAT!? I had to scramble around, find a new hotel night of so of course at a much higher price and cancel the old room. The policy was no refund, but I called anyway to see if anything could be done. The very professional and courteous Agoda rep walked me through everything and placed me on hold while he called the hotel to speak with the manager. The manager explained everything and the Agoda rep popped back on informing me that I would get my funds back in about 3 business days. I truly appreciate the help and now you've got me for life. We will always book our small and big trips through Agoda. :)
The hotel was a complete nightmare,a filthy slum,( I was told spa treatment included,free breakfast) I contacted Agoda and they done everything to make things difficult and even went so far as to be flippant, really lairy DEBBIE. I was called a liar even after waiting 3 days for a reply,sending two videos and two pictures. Not once have they supported me and asked the crap hotel for a still pic or any proof to see if I was there! I showed the precise time I message them and the booking I had to make when I left the hotel a day early after literally fighting off cockroach, lice and rats.
They support the hotel not the customer. Funny online on every review site they average 1* but on their own 4.6*? Do behave. Look elsewhere for your own safety but if you think I'm lying check out (World Wide Web) ecomsay.com where its clear these jokers have no interest in helping. I've seen lots of travellers being turned away who booked through Agoda including one in Thailand where it got so out of hand that the hotel manager, who is supported by agoda chased a man threatening to "chop his tourist head off" for trying to fight verbally his case. Women turned away at midnight onto the street with their belongings. Like I said check for yourself. This company is not safe and reliable for any traveller whether vulnerable or not. If you want to see the hotel they sold me it's called Hotel 175 in Vietnam and on Google maps. Only 2 videos on there(No Mercy) Go to booking.com,they have never let me down and do not allow the hotel to take advantage of foreigners in a confusing country who are alone.
They place a booking then cancel it and then book another hotel which never responds thankfully I did not pay before hand, otherwise I would have suffered
I booked an hotel room which had a better price than other website. While booking it was written WiFi gratis and Breakfast at 0 €. They make you think that breakfast is included. At the hotel they said I did not have breakfast with the booking and it costs 25 €/day, which made the total at the end very much expensive than other websites. Don't trust Agoda

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
