Bit confusing, made a booking this week. Received an email to say that booking had not been completed. Re-did booking. Prompt them came up to say that there was already an existing booking under that name. Now not sure whether we have two bookings or one?
I think they are helpful when my hubby blunder in the hotel booking and assist in the cancellation. Keep up the Good Service...

Agoda is one of the most convenient, simple, cost effective sites I've used to book accommodation. Very competitive on rates and a very quick and easy transaction especially if you are travelling and want to book as you go.
Found Agoda through MoneySupermarket and what a great deal I got!
I got a week in Great Yarmouth for 2 adults and 1 child (2years) for £343! A massive saving of over £500!
So far I have had no problems on booking requests. However sometimes what's available through the website does not show up on the Mobile app. So have to check both for a hotel deal.
I used Agoda for a hotel booking in March of 2015.
I was running late and so called the hotel I had used Agoda to reserve a room with. They told me that there was no reservation and that I should call Agoda which I did. After being passed around and told to wait for a long time I finally got Agoda to resend the confirmation email to the hotel and so problem solved... At least so I thought. After reaching the hotel at 4am I tried to check in but couldn't as the voucher that the hotel uses to pay for the room wouldn't work. After more phone calls with Agoda I finally cancelled my reservation and instead paid the hotel directly. The whole mess was very embarrassing and stressful and I vowed never to use Agoda again.
To make things worse I then got my phone bill and sicovered I had been charged $45 for the privilege of sorting out the mess that Agoda had created.
Use Agoda at your own peril.
When you book at Agoda, be very careful! Once I've made a reservation, the website gave me error and I went straight to hotel to book. Turns out Agoda already debited my credit card! When trying to reach Agoda via email and their feedback board, and email again and again, my mail has been ignored! So I was charged TWICE and 2 rooms! In a day!. Luckily the hotel MGR was willing to give me 2 days stay.
Another was just yesterday. I booked Agoda, it says there you can pay hotel as you reach. No strings attached if you choose to cancel last minute. Sounds good? Oh. There's a disclaimer, the hotel can deduct your credit card at any time. Wow... so I choose to pay to the hotel... upon reaching the hotel at 6pm, I paid in CASH! But on checking out the counter told me Agoda had charged by credit card already (without my knowledge!) thinking that I didn't show up, paying for their damages. The hotel then have to return me my cash for double charging.
No thanks AGODA! Highly profit minded without any care for its customers. Seriously happened twice and it's scary to be associated with such shady profit oriented non customer in mind kind of company. Shady contracts and disclaimers with a lot of strings attached to make sure you lose, even if you've cancelled, and in my case, I showed up, they still deduct thinking I didc't. Those booked via Agoda, beware. NO more and NO THANKS!
We have stayed many times at this stylish 3 star hotel, we think it's at least 4, and it is very central to most services. Pools are always clean as is the hotel, & the breakfast is very good. I would expect this next stay in July will be the same, other wise i will have to change
I book in various countries using Agoda and each time I check in there is never a glitch and on the odd occasion a free upgrade. With the warm welcome this tells me Agoda has the respect of the Hotel industry from the larger chains down to the boutique hotels.
The choice is endless, you can plan and book so easy I don't consider any other option for my hotels, business or pleasure.
We were very comfortable when hotels were booked through agoda because there service is the best.
I cannot understand the negative reviews about Agoda. I have booked all my accommodation through them for the last 6 years without one single problem. I have had no problem using my points for free accommodation. I find the descriptions accurate. Always look at the rating from other users - its generally a very good guide. I think some people want 5star rated for a two star price!

Quick, easy and the pay-later feature is a big plus.
I had to book 2 rooms last minute for 5 adults on our way to Bangkok airport. Easy peasy, great rooms, super speedy booking and fabulous price!

Answer: I don't bother making lists just search for where I am going and select the best deal for at least 1 mth before its needed and keep track of prices

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
