I have made a reservation on 08.10.2015 for 1 night stay at Hostel 44 and my cheking in was supposed to be on 11.10.2015. At 11:00 PM I arrived at 13 Kyrnigradska str. And was totally shocked to find out that the hostel (Hostel 44)does NOT EXIST!
Furthemore, according to the people who were living nearby, there was no such place at that address in the past at all or any other sort of accommodation. According to the neighbours, 5 moths ago at the same address somebody has given several rooms for rent (part of his/her apartment), but the Bulgarian authorities had shut them down.
So, at 11 o'clock in the evening me and a friend of mine, had to stay on the street in the pouring rain, without an idea where to go. Only the fortune, had brought us to a Jewish hotel ( Levitt hotel), which was completely full at that time ( just as several other places we had the chance to check before), but the staff was kind enough to leave us in the kitchen and saved us from sleeping on the street during a severe rain storm. The staff explained to us that this is not the only time they accommodated guests, who were cheated by booking.com
In my opinion, you are promoting fake accommodations in order to get access to my credit card details and to use them for criminal purposes.
If you are an art lover, this villa is the place for you! Located i the lovely seminyak, its zen and furnishings are decorated with hints of contemporary art, this is especially so for its beautiful stone pool, which is decked with syne sculptures that spew ager while you enjoy a soothing swim. You're basically in the heart of all the latest happenings.
We booked with Agoda for a hotel in Ubud, Bali. According to the site and our hotel voucher, there was airport transportation to the hotel. When we arrived at the airport, there was no one there to greet us. We had the airport put an announcement out BUT no response. We got the airport info desk to call the number on our voucher BUT it didn't go through.
We finally hired a taxi and when we arrived at the hotel we found out they do not do airport shuttles and the hotel number was incorrect! I will never use Agoda again.
Of late Agoda's hotel booking is misleading
Agoda must strive to protect the interest of its customers.
Hotel room booking is only for 1 adult as opposed to industry standards where standard booking is for 2 adults and breakfast for 2
Nowhere its heard standard booking is for I Adult and breakfast for only 1 person!
I found the best deal for Z Hotel in Glasgow on Agoda... cheaper and much easier to search for locations that booking.com
I especially like how you can sort the hotels by price, which is important for a budget traveller!
Mostly i book my stay through agoda everywhere around the globe and its very easy and hessel free. Sometimes of i face any difficulty then also agoda is very helpful.
I love it, when i move the map it searches hotels with price for me! So much convenient compare to others website!

Agoda offered the best deal when looking to book a particular apartment on the Gold Coast. The booking response was immediate.

I used Agode in europe and Thailand and everytime it is fast and reliable. Had to contact them once from Thailand to Change a date (my fault...). They arranged it directly with the Hotel. Very good Service. Thanks. Josef

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
