Fraud

Just created an account with affirm and they told me I wasn't approved because I had late payments from something I never purchased. I created the account today and they said I made a purchase from some perfume place in 2021. How could I have done that when I have never even had an account with them.

Down Payment Required

This whole procedure of requiring a down payment is a great inconvenience to someone who does not have a debit card. Amazon especially. They say you can use a checking account but at time of checking out it requires a debit card. Shopping through Affirm doesn't work either.
Affirm go back to the way it was.

If I could leave no stars I would. Do not use this company for any reason not even to purchase toilet paper because they are so sh!+y. I had to file a dispute against the clothing site Too Close through Affirm back in December because the company sent me the wrong item and stop answering my emails. Long story short, after I filed the dispute Affirm started siding with the company and basically blamed the whole incident on me by freezing my account along with the payments and I can't make payments on the that account anymore. I've called them four times and they still haven't reinstated my account yet. In fact those lying jagged mouth representatives told me that this BS would not show up on my credit to which it has. The whole company is not worth what the dog left in the grass.

Awful

I orderded something through Amazon which should normally take a couple of clicks and I was in a hurry. I did my normal gig and thought that it was odd that I entered my cell number, but oh well. Oh hell. I have taken out a loan thru this company, Affirm, for an item that I have bought over and over thru Amazon. I go on line to pay this thing off and can not because their sight is not letting me pay before the interest charges hit and is asking to download an app to manage my account. BS. No customer service number, only apps to download and manage your acoount. Run from this company!

I am giving you a 3 star for now because of the negative experience with the company you advertised on your website. Overall I am happy with how easy and quick Affirm works to approve credit lines. I am not happy with one particular order I made through Affirm on a company they carry on their website. I found out that this company has numerous negative reviews. I don't understand why Affirm still broadcast this company (Simply Mac) on their website as a business partner. I made a purchase using Affirm website to this company that Affirm advertised on their website back in December 2021 we are in February 2022 and I am still waiting for my product. The product is completely paid for and Affirm is taking payments from my bank for the product that I have not received. I reached out to Affirm and the company but they both tell me there is nothing they can do about it. Affirm says it is the company's business and the company tells. I will continue to do business with Affirm but not that company. I do hope Affirm review this and reach out to the company and maybe stop advertising them in the future. It is not looking good for Affirm.

Yes they promise by weekly payments then overcharge u on each one ten payments on one date instead of every two weeks then promised to disable auto pay overcharged me then promised to talk to merchant who overcharged me and refused. Just run crooks

Do not use AFFIRM

I purchased a welding machine through one of affirms vendors on their app. I was told item was out of stock and never refunded money back into my affirm account. Never received the item I purchased but affirm wants me to pay them $600 and they have absolved themselves of any responsibility. By the way, trying to contact Affirm is literally impossible. They practice a shady business with only the customer to get screwed.

Bad Company

The Services I have had with Affirm is very Misleading I tried to purchase another item and I was approved before but now 3 weeks later my application was denied due to my credit, my credit was the same that it was 3 weeks ago. After talking to a customer service representative over the phone he said if I pay him money he can get my Loan Application Approved, this is Fraud and I hope noone else will have to go through this

I've called multiple times told them I needed time and lower payments due to car accident stopping work for some time 9 delinquent reports 120 days late! They are so rude, watch out they are not on the consumers side, everyone else I talked to had ways I could pay with my unemployment and disability and welfare. No thanks in the future to Affirm.

They will HOLD your REFUND as long as possible. Then when you find a way to contact them they will offer you a check refund and not an ACH refund as they claim on their website if you made payments via ACH. This way they can hold your money longer. The process refund will not start until you contact them no when the store refunds money back to them. UNETHICAL AND DISHONEST

Hacked

My account got hacked. Someone used my account and changed my number and email. Bought something from Amazon for 900 dollars. Trying to resolve this issue for two months and still nothing and they think I'm going to pay it. That will be a no! Don't use them to get anything bc they don't care about you

I utilized this company for a trip. When my flights were canceled and i was refunded for 2 plane tickets. Affirm refused to credit my account back for the plane tickets. I advised you to never utilized this company. I also have filed a complaint against them thru the BBB.

I need a new couch. So I went online and found one that I didn't research as well as i should have. I have seen affirm for a long time on several sites, but never looked into it. So I did minimal research into affirm and signed up. Immediately after my purchase, I found out that the item I bought wasn't for me. So I cancelled the order within an hour. Long story short, I had to fight with the vendor and affirm for 5 days. Then I got a bill for an order that I had cancelled. But the vendor, who I had been in touch with for days, hadn't "officially" cancelled... Smh. Meantime, affirm is having none of my evidence that I've cancelled. Before I lost my mind and after days of going back and forth, I got the order cancelled, again. Within a few hours I got an email from affirm confirming my cancellation. I think the vendors are in it together tbh. I've never had to cancel an order more than once before. And reaching affirm on the phone isn't a thing. Be very careful, people. Be positive about your purchase!

Made BIG mistake dealing with them

Customer service is non-existent. They deal with all problems by listing instructions at their site referring you to the seller, no matter what the problem is. Once I finally broke through their wall of silence, filed a complaint that they were getting ready to auto-debit me for an item I had yet to receive and the seller was non-responsive as to the delay. That opened a ticket #. Received a response telling me to either deal with the seller or provide them with a mountain of documentation, with a space for me to reply and attach documents. But, at the same time, they automatically closed the ticket. I did reply with the little I had, but it's hard to prove that the seller never shipped and the seller is non-responsive and will not supply any info at all on shipping. But, Affirm doesn't care about that. They are going ahead and billing me anyway. I can't instruct my bank not to pay the debits because Affirm will then simply report non-payments to Experian credit bureau. So, I am stuck with Affirm demanding non-existent documents and, at the same time, informing me it's not their problem, it's solely between me and the seller (Touch of Modern - another nightmare company). Between the 2 of them, they have quite a racket going. Affirm refuses to deal with the issue, pawning me off on the seller and the seller ignores any and all requests and inquiries. So, I'm on the hook for $1400 and, at the moment, my only recourse is to put a stop payment with my bank on the Affirm charges, thus destroying my credit.
This is definitely a bottom of the barrel, predatory scum lender.

Someone made purchases on my affirm account on January 3,2022. I received a alert by text then a phone call. When prompted I entered my 4 digit pass code and responded no when asked If I could confirm a purchase on my Affirm account. I was then forwarded to a person that verified someone with an IP address in Germany was trying to make purchases with my account. I thought after the conversation that it was handled and I had nothing to worry about. I checked my Affirm ap on my phone a couple hours later and there was two transactions made. A $1,000.00 transaction and a seperate 2nd transaction of $3,000.00 both to a company called ColFour. Which I googled and it does not exist. I contacted Affirm by phone and they assured me that I would not get charged for these transactions and it would not affect my credit. The customer representative told me I have to wait for an email from Affirm and expect in 3-5 days and affidavit for me to fill out and send back. I have only made 4 transactions thru Affirm, using their service for almost a year. Read thru other reviews, this is not something new, people have their credit information stolen and used seems like a common problem. I am never using Affirm ever again once my account is closed.

Please do not use Affirm. They took 2 payments and then wouldn't change my debit date. They offered to refund the extra payment in 14 days, and I asked, why does it take 14 days when it only takes seconds to debit your account! I'm so frustrated and will NOT be using them again!

Don't trust

I found that I didn't trust questions they were asking me. Too many personal details. I felt uncomfortable and when I went to cancel I didn't get an email confirming I cancelled so I am afraid they will steal my Money. I an going to contact my bank immediately and block them and change my password.
