Do not use these fools i paid account in full and was notified it was paid in full. And every month they try and hit me for interest i called several times and asked how can you hit for interest on a zero balance account of course they do not have the answer. Also what created this problem is they paid a furniture company called 1 stop bedroom 1500 bucks and it took me 18 months to receive my product. So i was paying on a bedroom set that took 18 months to get and now the final slap is to keep coming after me for 2 bucks. Never again will i use affirm

Scammed

I used affirm a lot but one purchase i made to Remote Control Hobbies of beaumont Texas was canceled by the seller and I never got a refund affirm say the seller gave me credit I told them no they didn't I have never even talked with them.the phone number is disconnected and they don't answer emails I have disputed the 10 times affirm with all tje proof of cancelation and it sys refund not credited but affirm doesn't want to help so I was scammed by remote control hobbies and made to pay a loan that I have never received any merchandise or refund

Double charge

I purchased a flight ticket on the affirm app with Expedia with approved credit of $500 which required a $95 upfront payment using my debit card and they were supposed to pay for the ticket because that was the purpose of me getting credit! They charged my debit card and they gave me a virtual Visa debit card to make the purchase and somehow Spirit airlines charged my debit card when affirm is the ONLY one who had MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER! It was never charged to the Virtual card number they gave me to pay for the ticket! It's a SCAM! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM PLEASE!

Received an incorrect item when I ordered through Walmart.com. A totally different pool than I ordered. It took over a month and a half to go through returning it (Walmart is a MESS). Then when it was finally refunded, i find out I am responsible for finance charges and I Lost over $80! I wasted HOURS of my time due to an error on Walmarts part and then still end up paying when I SHOULD be the one compensated! Affirm need to update its terms to note that IF fault of Merchant, they are responsible ALL Charges/costs! I will NEVER EVER go through Affirm again. Even when I submitted documentation showing it was the Merchants error they sided with Merchant, Now I realize why, SO they can also rip of the customer! TERRIBLE do not USE /Trust this service

4 months ago, I changed my phone number and have been trying to have my phone number change in Affirm's database with no success. Despite sending in copies of my driver's license and my photo 5 times per Affirm's request, they have thus far refused to update my phone number in their system and have effectively locked me out of my account. In addition, they are not sending me hard copies of my statements so I have no way to check my balances, make any extra payments or check for fraudulent charges online. Terrible customer service. I am now forced to seek legal remedy so that I can gain access to my account. Shameful business practices on the part of Affirm, Inc.

I have aveage credit i started slow now my credit line is about 4k they have hanled over 15 accounts all pd and never had 1 hitch had well over 5 refunds given to me as well always on time and super honest...

I make decent money and have an ok credit score, was flat out denied right away. My room mate who lives on SSI and has a credit score below 400 got approved right away for a $1300 iPhone. I don't understand the process and was just trying to upgrade my phone as I only do that every 5 years or so. What a joke of a place..

Affirm has helped me so much. My credit has gone up, if I am late making a payment they charge no fees, no company does that! I am able to purchase something that I normally wouldn't have all the money for. And their payment plans are reasonable. Yes they charge a fee to use their services but they have to make money too. And honestly I don't think their fees are that bad. I just decided to write this review just to thank Affirm for all they have done for me. I hope they are helping others out as much as they are helping me. I don't know the owner or creator of Affirm but if you ever see this, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THANK YOU SO MUCH. You have no idea how much you have helped me. I was someone with bad credit and they gave me a chance and now because of them my credit is considered fair and it keep going up. I was able to get my son nice school clothes and school supplies because of Affirms payment plans. I just can't thank them enough. Oh and if that's not enough their customer service is the best. Very nice people that work there. I'm so thankful to have found Affirm. I will never stop using Affirm. Thanks again. And NO I do not work for Affirm or am connected to them in any way, and they did not ask me to write a review. I am just another thankful customer
If you debating on if you should use Affirm or not? Do it, you will not regret it.

My accounts are paid off but they reported it delinquent to credit agencies dropping my score 36 points. After trying days to get a hold of someone they responded through a message stating it was their mistake and my accounts are paid off with zero balance. They then attached a letter stating that I have zero balances because I never paid minimums I paid in large amounts to save on interests. So basically they lied and "made a mistake" so they give me a letter to provide to credit agencies so the delinquent report can be removed. So as a good paying customer I had to deal with all this stress and waste my precious time out of my days to fix their screw up?! They are the WORST! Never again! I don't recommend Affirm.

I paid my monthly payment and was charged repeatedly the same payment (at once, 5x) for the entirety of the loan. I called and to return MY money will take up to 10 day. This caused a overdraft fee from my bank which affirm refuses to pay for. Careful they can and will charge your account however much they want.

The worst!

I cannot withdraw my money from the savings account I have with them. I try on the app, but the maximum is $25,000 and it won't allow it. I try on the website but the maximum is $2,500 and if I want to withdraw $100,000, I have to do it 40 days in a row and I don't even know if that will work. I have called three weeks in a row and each time I am given the run around, asked to send in information, which I do and then given conflicting information. They are thieves. Don't use them.

Due to a website error my order had to be canceled and replaced. Since I was using an affirm loan to make this order I called to make sure that would be OK. Canceled and replace the order and was denied, was told after the fact that the "system" saw them as two separate loans and due to that reason I was denied. This company can't manually do anything to help me so basically I was charged to receive nothing. Horribly company, no one has any answers and tells me my credit is the problem.

NEVER AGAIN!

Horrible company. They need to train their customer service. They accept my credit card for my wifes payment, but will not accept my credit card for mine. After chatting with a customer service rep and being promised a call back, no payment was made and no call back. I called them and they tried to tell me that the problem was that they don't accept credit cards and they wanted a bank account or debit card... NOT going to happen. Seems awful shady.
I hope that SAMSUNG sees this and quits supporting them as a payment method.
I have since made a payment with a credit card after circumventing the system and canceling auto pay, making a payment and then turning autopay on again. Who knows if it will work this time.

Before using Affirm, be sure to understand credit scoring ramifications. Affirm discloses installment account activity (opening of accounts and payments) "could" be reported to credit agencies. However, the company doesn't reveal just how much credit scoring is impacted. I purchased items via Amazon and didn't want to pay by debit or credit card. I opened two Affirm installment accounts for a total of $415. Once Affirm reported the installment accounts to the credit reporting agencies, my score dropped 27 points. Yes, you read correctly -- 27 POINTS. I would've been better off paying for the purchases by credit card, which would've caused perhaps a 2- to 4-point hit to my score. I've worked for years to pay off bills and achieve a "very good" credit rating. However, because I opened Affirm installment accounts, my rating took a substantial hit -- FOR $415. For those who wish to use Affirm, I'd advise establishing a low-dollar installment plan, preferably below $100, or, better yet, just simply use a debit card or a credit card.

Ughhh

Paid off my first snd only payment on time no late payments. Did not use them again and got a text that a bill was as due…. That I ordered from eBay which I did not do don't even have an eBay account so disputed this transaction with no results. On 1/28/22 was the first I disputed this transaction and to date a MANAGER has no information on my dispute. We NEED TO DO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT THEY NEED TO BE PUT FOWN how many other ppl are they doing this to that aren't reporting it

Stay far away!
Used Affirm to book trip that was cancelled due to COVID.
Requested our $2000 be returned.
Cannot get $$$$ back after several attempts.
We keep calling and get run around.
Told we would get follow up call.
NO CALL BACK NO $$$$$$!

AFFIRM USED TO BE GREAT

A few years ago i had used AFFIRM with absolutely no problems. They were great for people that were rebuilding their credit, had no credit or just didn't have enough money to do thing like put new tires on your car. I literally had taken out 7 loans with them, paid them all off early and was excited about rebuilding my credit after a divorce and a bankruptcy. Then somewhere along the line something changed and they started using a different bank then all of a sudden after I in good faith paid off my last loan to them, they denied me. I was shocked. I had a great history with them but at the end of the day that didn't matter. Three years later and they still deny me. I even wrote a letter to their CEO and I doubt he ever saw it, I got some stupid response back basically thanking me for contacting them but that could not change the decision. So much for loyalty and keeping good customers. All I got rewarded with for my loyalty and for paying my bills on time was swift kick in the hind end and a nasty goodbye.
