Ok so the first time I tried them out they wanted to dig deep like they are credit karma some damn bdy. Then they denied me because I didn't agree to an address then when I just tried they asked me to send in photo identification and a pic of my actual face with my photo next to it? Which is bs so n I did just tht and they real ugly a**** denied me again saying identity prblms naw yall a**** seen I was a blck female and automatically denied me because befre I sent in my pics of identity I made sure the pics were very clear. Kiss my A** Affirm pay. I've read these reviews and I believe every last one of them tht spoke on how they do ppl. Hell after pay quad pay zip pay and shop pay dnt give you a hrd a** time like these mfs and neither does klarna they dont even dig dip in ppl business like a freakn credit report company. The Hell with Affirm sorry a****. I guess this for the riches or what they may consider wealthy but duhhhhh those ppl aren't helping patronize Affirm because they have it purchase at full price Remember! So Affirm pay humble yall selves! Oh and I hate I had to select a star because if it was up to me you guys would not get not nan star like yall really don't deserve any!
I've had several loans with affirm. All paid on time and paid off no issues. I recently went to do another one and was denied. The email that was sent said I had bad payment history with them which was not true. Checked my history with them never a missed payment. They need to get it together. Or they won't last long. There are plenty of other companies out there.

They will allow you one purchase and after that even with a gracious balance left to spend, forget it. You have officially been successfully successful in. You can't charge anything else even with available balance. Crappy way to run a business. Good luck with that.
I have used affirm 3 times now. Once for stone veneer on my home and the other 2 vacations. I have auto withdraw so my payment is never late. And it allows my cards to be freed up. I like it so much i purchased stock in affirm on robinhood. Thank you Affirm
This company is just a mess! Due to the poor security of Affirms website my account was hacked and a fraudulent purchase of over $1900. 00 was made on Christmas morning. This caused me to become negative in the bank. While affirm is refunding me the money this will take 3-5 business days to go through. Meanwhile I still have bills coming out of this bank account causing overdraft fees and even more turmoil. Furthermore, this account was my personal checking account so this was ALL OF MY MONEY. Affirm has refused to comp me anything or provide me any type of compensation for something that has been more than an inconvenience. This incident has left my family and I moneyless since Christmas morning and the lack of sympathy, care, and professionalism I have experienced from Affirms customer service has just been even more tragic. I will NEVER use this company again. There are soooo many more out there that provide the same services and I'm sure are much more trusting. DO NOT USE AFFIRM.
I did not appreciate Affrim's way of threats because I was a couple days late on my payment. My work check was delayed due to I was subpoena with short notice and had to fly to another city for court jury trail. Affrim was complaining just about how bad of a person I am for not paying my payment on time. It was my first delayed payment since I been doing business with Affrim. Terrible organization when it comes the relations and Affirm try to make customer feel lets than person and try to dehumanize me. I will pay Affrim its money as soon I can I pray that I do not have to ever borrow again
Just about a scam. When I signed up a price for total cart was $31 a mo. After signing up my payments switched to $64 a mo. For a 12 mo. Period. I purchased 2 tv mount kit on sale for $35. I just returned one of them and received a refund. (My refund covers payments on the one item for the 12 month period). My refund was $140.
Long story short instead of paying the $34 I am now paying $140 for a $35 item. Compared to lay-a-way this is horrendous.
Affirm is not a true 4 installment. First of all they run your credit score if you have a poor credit then you are not approved and you are not qualified to pay in 4 installments payment. Guys get Afterpay or Klarna these company are the true installment pay. They will let you know that your payment is coming up-and also just managed your account. You can pay it in advance. It's so easy to used and they don't run your credit
Made a purchase through Affirm in October. Did not get the product. The company canceled my order and issued a refund. Made a claim twice and still have not gotten my money back. It is now December. Going to my bank tomorrow to file a fraud claim with them.
I bought a ticket through Affirm. The airline does not have any reservation and they want to charge me for the loan. I called both American and Affirm. Affirm is refusing to recognize that American does not have reservation and wants me to send emails horrible
I set up to pay with Affirm on Amazon. When I tried to go on their site to set up an account to make payments it will not let me no matter what I do. After searching their site over and over I finally was able to send an email that I cannot get into their site and they sent me an email to sign into their site to view their response to my email. ARE YOU SERIOUS? 20 Attempts to contact this company I just get emails to sign onto their site to read emails. To date I have not been able to sign into their site or to sign on to this account. I called the *******729 number as suggested only to go through the same nightmare as I had on the AFFIRM site. I demanded speaking to a manager and the only solution to this issue was to pay off this loan in full today, at which they will not accept a credit card to pay their account off only your bank account. They are highly suspicious and incompetent. This company needs to be investigated and I recommend if you want to keep your credit intact DO NOT GET A LOAN THROUGH THIS COMPANY!
Description Run from both of these crooks. Purchased an oxygen concentrator online and was sent the wrong item. Called to inform the company and ask for an exchange or refund. Merchant stated that they were out of the model I requested and would not have one available for 2 weeks. I asked for an RMI for return and was refused that courtesy so I returned the item with a tracking number and called to let the company know i had done so and to expect the item within a couple of days so that I did not fall outside of some limit of return. The merchant refused to accept the return and returned to sender. I never received the item and have no idea where the item is, so I contacted Affirm the finance company to let them know the issues I had been having. I did not want to be held liable to pay for an incorrectly shipped item or an item I do not have possession of. Affirm did not want to get involved with merchant's failures but did initiate a dispute. When the merchant states that is not their policy to accept returns without an RMI., the dispute was closed. I am now being help responsible for paying for the item. Have been referred back to the merchant that refuses to return any correspondence and don't feel they are obligated to refund or exchange the item. Upon ding research and inquiring to other oxugen concentrator companies, i learned that the transaction was illegal because oxygen concentrators are considered medical devises that require a prescription before a legal sale can be made. I contacted the merchant with this information and they refuse to rely at all. I am asking for assistance with this disreputable merchant to help facilitate a full refund. I have had to secure an oxygen concentrator from a more reputable merchant and this time I did receive the correct item and very promptly and without any complications. They made sure that i got what i ordered and was happy with my purchase.
Used Affirm to break up a few large purchases through Real Real, Amazon, and Bloomingdale's. Set up auto pay and went fine until I get a late notice one day. Okay, paid and reset auto pay. Next day, again... on and on. Opened a case and nothing the foreign reps were willing/able to do. Now, it shows that I was 15 days late when I wasn't. Pay everything off and RUN before it gets past 30 days and reported on your credit! They use Stripe and it's obviously a disaster.
It's simple identity/lead/info farming, but getting shut down for these "tech" issues. An ambulance chaser's dream class action lawsuit. Exorcism with someone like me who has recorded calls and screen shots.
I am gonna keep my review very short and to the point because it has been ongoing issues for the last 8 months fighting with them back-and-forth and had to supply to them multiple items/ proof of interactions and reasoning why I should be getting a refund. Let's just not even talk about distress associated with that and then having to re explain your story to "customer service" every single time you get somebody... I finally get partial refund because really they're all about the money and not about ethics or even what the person signed up for... Never got a refund they stated they tried to push it through to your account and it wouldn't go through kind of funny how they can take money out of your account with no problems but when they need to refund it to your account it just won't go through for some reason. Finally get them to send a check the check bounces twice... This is still an issue... How does a check from a major company not go through go through ridiculous... I call customer service they say they have no record of a check being sent out I ask for a supervisor they suddenly find proof that a check was sent out but then said will they send you an email last week that everything's been closed is that everything spin closed how is something closed when a check doesn't go through?... I have not experienced this level is the level of lack of customer service, follow through, accountability, and general incompitancy in my 43 years of life... still have not gotten paid my partial refund... do not use this service... once they have your money they do not care.
I used affirm to purchase a set of chairs from wayfair. I discovered they did not work for me and immediately sent them back. Wayfair processed my return quickly. However a month later, I'm still being charged the monthly installment.
I reviewed the return process and when you use their online card method to check out, they allow themselves 45 days to process the return from the store. That's insane...
I saw the policy on interest charges on returns and they collect interest during the 45 days they take to process the return. So paying a high rate of interest for an item that is at your house for a day. Bad business.
Then, if you waited 45 days for thr refund and still don't see it, then you can submit a form to them and put all the information on it and they will check on it. The form is not attached to the actual transaction, like it is on similar competitors. You have to go completely out of the transaction to fill out the form and submit a bunch of info and verification of the return so they can look in to it.
Sham way to do business in my opinion
A scammer opened an account in my name and purchased 3 vacuum cleaners that are being shipped to me via Fedex. After a huge effort, i was able to find a customer service phone number for Affirm. An Indian woman who was difficult to understand refused to close the account and told me that I would be contacted within 5 days. I have not received the vacums yet and have contacted the seller and plan to return them ASAP once I receive them. We will see then what additional methods Affirm will use to extract money from me. Prior to Affirm's scam, my credit score is 835.
I ordered a 65 inch Phillips tv. From the Walmart in Charlotte nc the callabridge location thru Affrim. Fedex delivered it it was cracked totally across the screen and had a huge hole at the top of the screen. I was sealed in the box straps and all like new. Never again
To bet me $100 you can speak with a human being at Affirm. Please, take that bet! Google me and prove me wrong anytime. How Affirm stays in business I will never understand. They are the antithesis of "customer service" -.
I purchased a piece of furniture through affirm 9 months ago. I was waiting on the order to be shopped and cancelled the order through the vendor as I had already found another piece that I liked and would take less time to ship.
I contacted affirm and this store multiple times to process a refund. Both refused and I waited until the order arrived so I could return it (which arrived 8 months after ordering). The order gets here and I process a return through USPS and contact the store and affirm so they are updated.
I waited 2 weeks after processing a return to contact the store and see if I could get a refund. They could not process it as the card that affirm gave was void. I contacted affirm through email and phone where they hung up on me multiple times with one representative finally answering and saying that they could not help, so I transferred the refund to my bank account instead. Affirm made my payments have a high interest rate after I tried to return my order and I am still making payments on an item I had returned. If the store hadn't helped me, I never would have gotten my money back.
