Very inconvenient

I recently moved to a different state and with Covid19 doing everything online was just the more logical option. After a pretty extensive online search I came across 1stopbedrooms and thought it was my saving grace. NOT. Two maybe 3 days after placing my order I get a notification that some pieces are on backorder which was fine I didn't move for another 3-4 weeks anyway so I could wait. Two weeks later I get another email stating that more pieces are unavailable... it was annoying but I thought "that's fine I'll just find living room furniture from another place." Five weeks later my items are finally on set to be delivered and after sleeping on an air mattress for two weeks I am overjoyed. I get the call that my delivery is next and almost immediately after the delivery driver calls to tell me there has been "a mishap" and one of the legs has been damaged. I was going to just flat out refuse delivery at this point and just purchase bedroom furniture elsewhere, but I get a call from a representative of the company telling me it's an easy fix just accept delivery and the will get a replacement part shipped out that day. Okay cool. I was told I should have the new leg before the end of the next week. It's going on week two now and they just discovered that the manufacturer sending the replacement part has been putting my address in wrong. There was no communication from them and I only found this out after I stubbornly waited on hold for nearly 40 minutes. Oh and when I asked if I would get an email confirmation I was told that the information would update on my order... my order still says "in transit" and it was delivered nearly two weeks ago... This whole process has been more inconvenient than I expected AND to make matters worse I found everything I ordered from them on Amazon for hundreds of dollars cheaper. Haha I guess you live and you learn.

I placed an order in excess of $6000 in October and was told it would arrive by November 5th. The Dresser arrived damaged: Bottom right drawer is broken, both side boards are unstable and top has damaged spot on the edge. The bed and tall chest arrived in great shape, the dresser however, looks like it took a real beating. I called weekly and kept getting the run around - we can't locate your item - it must be at the warehouse check back later. Finally it arrived on December 4th! The Dresser arrived severely damaged: Bottom right drawer is broken, both side boards are unstable and top has damaged spot on the edge- looks like it took a real beating. I sent pictures and a message immediately and have been getting the run around once again. I am being told they are filing a complaint with the delivery service, which is not my issue. I purchased from 1 stop bedrooms and expect a replacement to be sent ASAP. This was a Christmas gift and now I would give the dresser away for scrap much less a gift. Absolutely the worst buying experience of my life!

Ordered a bed almost two weeks ago, first they message me that they can't move forward with my order until I call them. Then $100 later because of some additional part needed, the delivery is still scheduled for the following week. Now I am told the this bed is not in stock and that I will have to wait a month for it to be back in stock. If they didn't have it they why let me to purchase!? Now I have now bed because I got rid of my old one, because I was getting my bed next week. If I would have known it was not in stock then I would have looked else where. Then they blame Covid, please. Covid has nothing to do with an item being listed as available! I understand delivery could be delayed, but not an item being out of stock. I have already paid it in full, and now I will have to wait almost two months for it to arrive. Will not be shopping here again.

I understand we are in trying times. But a company should not post products if they are not in stock. Its almost 3 months later no furniture. My bed is broke, I am sleeping on the floor with a mattress.

Stay Away!

I ordered a bedroom suite June 2020. I received some of the items in August. My canopy bed was the last thing to be delivered. It's now going on 6 months and still no bed! The delivery date keeps being pushed back without any notice. When you call, they read off the email and don't even try to resolve because they don't even have the products to deliver. I filed a complaint with BBB and am willing to file a lawsuit and go to the media. The sad part is, I saw the bed I wanted at a store and passed it up on hopes of getting my order delivered. I'm a patient person and believe in giving people a chance but DO NOT ORDER FROM ONE STOP BEDROOM OR CLICK TO VIEW ANYTHING ON THEIR SITE!

Buyer Beware

I purchased a sofa set 8 months ago. I received the sofa set 7 months ago. When it came the quality was extremely poor. It also had a major defect which kept us from assembling it. It has been just sitting in our garage. When I first received it I contacted the company to try & return it. I was told it would cost me $100. Per pound, so I would have lost hundreds of dollars. I had purchased their protection plan so I sent pictures etc. However they messed up my contact information for the company that would come out to try & fix my sofa. So unfortunately more time goes by & no one called me to set an appointment. 7 mos. Of having a new sofa that we could not use & no Attempted repair, I decided to call One Stop Bed Room's again. After being on hold for 20+ min. I was finally able to speak with someone. I explained my situation & that at this point I felt the right remedy for the situation was a refund of the purchase price. I asked her if I could please speak with a manager. The lady was very rude, she told me that I couldn't get a refund, there was No Manager that I could speak with & that if there was they would tell me the same thing. She told me to read my contract have a nice day & she hung up on me. I am extremely upset. This is Not right! I would Never recommend purchasing anything from this company.

The worst experience ever
December 26, 2020

Working with 1stop has been a nightmare. The list of poor customer service is too long or this platform. Worst online purchase experience I have ever had. Ordered 9 pieces a month ago and so far only 3 have arrived and one of those was defective. Mis information, fraudulent charges, hour long hold times, I can't even get an accurate invoice. How can you buy a product, be told that it has shipped and been on the truck for a week, and then tell the customer the MFG has discontinued the product. Breakdown somewhere but the customer suffers the worst. Buyer beware. Just don't buy from them.

Ordered my furnitures in the beginning of August 2020. It's now November 2020 and I still have yet to receive majority of my order.
I made a huge purchase with this company which I have come to truly regret! They are selling things that are out of stock! This is truly unacceptable and my patience with them has ran out. They also lost two of my mattresses! I just want my money back and go shop somewhere else this ridiculous! Worst customer service! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Scammer

I ordered a dining room set and bar stools from 1st bedroom. I received notification that it was ready for delivery. The delivery was scheduled for Sept. 25th. No delivery ever came. I called them several time and was told the delivery company would call to reschedule in a day or two. It never happened. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and 1st stop bedroom is lying to the credit card company and telling them that the furniture was delivered. This company is filled with lying crooks. Even the tracking from the delivery company shows the furniture was not delivered! If you order furniture from this company be prepared to pay for furniture that you will never receive.

Late Delivery

From June 18th until November 7th, that's how long it took to get my bedroom set. It's beautiful and the delivery men was great. BUT THAT WAS TOO TOO LONG.

This is the worst buying experience of buying furniture. First off they have very deceptive pricing. They sell you the item, email you that they need 'to verify your address' meaning that there is an additional $200 shipping cost. What? $200? I live in a normal city in a normal house. Every other company I've bought furniture delivered within a week, but I'm over 2 moths and the single item, a kitchen table, is still 'in transit?' 2 months in transit when they said the item was in stock, and I was forced to pay the additional shipping costs? I've called the company multiple times and every time they blame the delivery company. Yet 2 months later I still don't have the item, plus they will not refund me the money because it shipped. I will call my credit card company and dispute since they never delivered the item and still no plans to deliver the item. Worst company ever. Buyer beware!

We ordered a desk from this company and when the product arrived damaged, we opened a claim and sent photos as requested. That was on the 30th of August. Today is the 23 of October and I have heard from no representative, there has been no response to my multiple emails with the claims department, and no one will call me back after requesting a callback on their 800 number. These company is a fraud, we will be filing a suit for Fraud (yes, this is considered FRAUD) and filing with the BBB. These types of organizations will only be shut down if we continue to file complaints. Don't just post a review, make a real difference!

Waiting waiting waiting

I DO NOT RECCOMEND 1StopBedrooms

Update-called Monday/Wednesday and now today... they offered us $75 and the $150 off. They first level CSR have supposedly escalated my file on 3 separate occasions and no one has reached out.

They estimate it now to be early Nov. And it just keeps changing.

The 1st level representatives are filling a script that include blocking slcustomers from accessing management.

We have been waiting for our furniture since June 11,2020. The date has changed several times and now it says Aug 21,2020.
Its October 11,2020.
No update via email or on the website. I called and when I got the call back, they dropped the call and didnt call back. Ill be calling again tomorrow.
This really seems like a scam.
I'm beyond upset. I wouldnt be upset if they were giving us clear expectations, but they have simply stopped communicating.

We ordered a bed and nightstand in April 2020. It took until June 16th for the delivery to arrive at our house. Once delivery assembled the bed, it was noted that the roll slats were not the correct size, the middle support leg to the bed was not in the delivery, and the nightstand was damaged. We were told they would report this back to 1stopbedrooms and we should expect another delivery soon. Followed up with 1stop customer service several times starting in July. When we were finally able to get in contact with them, each time we were told they would notify shipping and have the missing parts sent to the warehouse for delivery. I reported them to BBB at which point they sent the roll slats for delivery at the end of September. They then responded to BBB that delivery was made in "full" which was an outright lie since we still haven't received the nightstand or middle support. So now I have to somehow get in contact with them again to file another claim for the middle support and night stand which would be the 4th time they pretend to file my claim and send the missing items. I contacted the delivery warehouse who were surprised we received the roll slats as they have been waiting for 1stopbedrooms to reply to them for 2 months as to when they can expect the slats to arrive for delivery. Sad thing is the bedroom set is now more than 50% off what we paid for it 6 months ago. Do not waste your money or time with this trash of a company. They charge your card the day of purchase, string you along until credit card dispute time expires, mark full delivery in their system leaving you to continuously contact an unreachable customer service to start the delivery process all over again. If you want an honest assessment review look at BBB complaints. The first line of their complaint page tells it all. "Customer Complaint: Please be advised that due to the high volume of complaints received for this business, BBB publishes 1 out of every 5 complaints handled through our conciliation process."

FOUR MONTHS - Still being jerked around.
FOUR MONTHS. Still no resolution to a dresser that was shipped partially assembled. The delivery guys installed half the drawers and they don't even close.

This was part of a full bedroom set. So 4 months later I still have no resolution. The company has been given 10 plus opportunities to respond, try to solve the problem. You think they'd try or they'd follow up.

They know I've waited four months and supposedly ordered a replacement but even after I've tried to follow up 5 or so times they are still not accommodating, nor are they responding.

They treat me like im a PITA.

BUYER BEWARE. Don't do this to yourself. You can find all of this furniture elsewhere.

I wish I would have.

Please report to the Better Business Bureau, this company shouldn't be able to have the opportunity to give bad service, better yet no service to another person. The customer care is horrible. And, they are dishonest on when you will receive what you pay for, and shouldn't be allowed to take people's money until their items actually ship. They cannot be trusted. Never received my items, got the run around and they do not have any managers to speak with. You are speaking to incompetent people who could care less about your incovenience.

I ordered two bedroom sets on June 16,2020 and was told they were in stock and I would get them in 2-4 weeks and I didn't receive them until October 2,2020. I called every two weeks beginning in July and every time I called, I was told they would be delivered in 2 weeks. Every rep I talked to just flat out lied, which is horrible customer service. I asked every call to be transferred to a manager and I was told they could only send a message to a manager and they would call me within 24-48 hours and I never received a call back. White glove delivery was NOT done, so I had to pay someone to come and put my beds together, which was absolutely ridiculous when I went through thus company for the white glove delivery.

Terrible Company

We ordered a couch that was "in stock" back in early May on their website. After checking our profile with no updates a week after the original expected delivery date we started our long and tiring relationship with their spotty customer service center. We tried to be understanding with the pandemic so we did not say anything for the first 2 MONTHS. After we began calling looking for updates and kept constantly getting vague responses or false promises the couch would be delivered in another 2 weeks. Our customer profile was not updated with new deliver dates unless we called. The couch made it to the final steps of the delivery process before reaching the local warehouse to be delivered to our apartment about 3 times, yet that final step never happened. The customer service took forever to get a hold of anyone, they clearly did not communicate or look at our account history as we had the same conversation multiple times and any specific information about our order had to be cleared through a manager (who was never available to speak to) and took another day or two to call back. We would have much rather payed double the price then deal with this company again. We were finally cancelled our order after 5 months of waiting and was refunded. Do not waste your time and please look elsewhere for furniture.

Big mistake
November 2, 2020

After doing what I thought was good research and reading their thousands of good reviews (which I now think might be fake) I placed an order on June 29 for a sectional and ottoman. Within a week of ordering I received a call from their customer service trying to get me to purchase a treatment for the furniture. The gentleman on the phone stated it was to prevent fading and when I questioned that I thought this was something that was automatically done he stated that it was not and that he highly recommended it. When I told him I wanted to think about it he brought the price of the treatment down. Needless to say I paid $300 more for this so called treatment. The furniture was supposed to be delivered within 4 weeks. I then received an email telling me the Ottoman was on backorder and asking if I would accept the back order- which would then put my furniture delivered by around Labor Day. So I accepted the back order. Labor Day came and went and no furniture. So I sent an email asking when the furniture would be delivered since it was past the expected delivery date. No response. When I looked in my account suddenly the delivery date was changed to October 11 with no explanation. I called (which is a joke in itself… You are put on hold for at least 45 minutes with no one picking up. You were then given the opportunity to request a call back which I did and I did receive a call back) and was told that the Ottoman was on back order still. I just went into my account the other night and found that the delivery date has now been changed again to November 16! Still again no communication! I wrote an email stating that this was unacceptable and that they could at least send the sectional and the ottoman in separate shipments. Funny that when I looked in again it now says that the sectional is the piece that is on back order! I have sent them several emails with no response. I even requested a refund because I have also since found out that the furniture is not on back order at my local Ashley furniture store and in the end after paying the extra $300 for the so-called treatment it would've been the same cost to have gone with them in the first place! Now I don't know what to do. I can't go till November without living room furniture- I have gone without for long enough. In addition I don't have the money (unless I get a refund) to purchase anything else in place of this. I truly believe I am never going to see my furniture and I have been scammed.
My next step is the Better Business Bureau which in fact has hundreds of complaints very similar to mine on their website as well! If you guys can't help me and they can't help me. I also have a friend who's an attorney.

Being charged extra
November 1, 2020

I have ordered a lot of items, but now for some reason some are being delayed 3 months out. The refund is not the amount that we paid. Some items disappeared off the list but we are paying over 1000 in taxes and delivery. Can not email the company, say email is not good. Feel as much f we are being scammed.
