I went to the branch at Walmart Mesa Az((Baseline rd & Country Club Dr)). I couldn't get $13,000 that I needed, my account has way more than that. Definitely I will consider closing my account I hope someone from corporate reach out to give me an explanation. (( I have been costumer of this Bank for over 10 years

According to your employees, your bank denied my application for a checking account because "My Passport is fake" and "my picture was offset on Passport." You people are IDIOTS! I've traveled through 4 countries with this same passport since February, including entering USA March 20th! Between your fickle policies and your low IQ employees at 2 different branches, you just lost what would have been a Loyal Customer! So after being run around and lied to for 2 days by your bank employees, I promptly ventured over to Cadence Bank with the same "FAKE PASSPORT" and opened up a better checking account and immaculate Customer Service in under 30 minutes! If your banks are going to use Idiotic Arbitrary policies to discriminate against someone like myself and employ a bunch of Stupid, barely educated women to run them; You will be out of business in due time! This is why 1stCHOICE BANK has to rent corners in FIESTA and Kroger grocery stores to even do your deplorable business! If you hire S*!TTY People, expect for them to do $h*TTy Business!

1. Dishonest, Incompetent Bank Employees

No longer a customer

Today I have ran into a issue with a scammer I did not know that this place would take my money and not give me a service that was paid for but because I authorized the purchase of this sale my bank including a manger with the bank has told me they can not help me with receiving a refund! Tomorrow morning I will be closing my account With First convenience bank after almost 6yrs of banking with them. I don't feel like my money is protected because when things like this happen unknowingly to me who can I turn to. The gave me a number to the federal commission even tho I sent in my request I have a email back from them saying that they will not be handling my issue directly but instead only using it as a learning experience to help it not happen to others so long story short I'm out of the money that I authorized with no way to get it back. I've reached out to the ppl who took my money but now there phone is no long working nor am I getting a response an it is very disappointing that MY SO CALLED BANK will not stand on this issue and help THEIR CUSTOMERS in situations like this get their money back! I even offered them the proof they don't care. Please do not bank here they will not protect you an the management is very nonchalant an rude about having to help

The account statements are just so hard to follow. One day you can have 500 in your account and once you go about your causal spending they don't deduct the money from available balance so you are in need to keep track of every expense. Went to bed last night thinking I had a couple hundred in this account to now having a negative balance. The customers service representative are rude and have no interest in helping you. They don't even care if you bank with them. At least show some time of interest to your customers. Worst bank ever. Definitely do not recommend

TRASH BANK!

EVERY other bank that I have ever banked with has NEVER held my mobile deposits except FCB! I am a single father with 2 boys and my check was not even that big, $500+, and I was dependent on that money to be in my account by the end of the business day! NOPE! It's Friday, I have nearly no gas, food is low, and they put a 5 day FKN hold on my check from my employer! I will NOT be keeping my account once I have my funds. Not to mention I have to travel 45 minutes to get to the actual bank location, which is why I did the mobile deposit. This is the worst bank I have been with, and I had Wells Fargo before, that is saying something! My money will be pulled out IMMEDIATELY once that check is in my account! Just stupid!

I called my bank today to tell them I never received an order that I ordered and how much money I lost they said there's nothing they can do I lost my money to contact the Federal trade commission I told them that I would find another bank they said they apologize for the inconvenience what kind of bank is this

Fraud

They allowed PayPal that I don't use take money out of my account and going to tell me I have to wait for my money back why when you a FDIC and they allowed it to go thur. No a week before Christmas I have no money in my business account.

My father has an account with this bank and when he got diagnosed with Dementia and it was declared that he can't handle money anymore, so I added my name to the account which I'm his daughter. I have POA over him to where I handle all his business. I gave the bank everything that they needed to show that he has it severe, but the bank still gives a temp card so that he can overdraft his account so when he gets his SSI, he doesn't have nothing left and then I have to take from my personal account to help him when he messes up. I have made numerous complaints and there are notes on the account not to do certain things. No courtesy calls to the person who has the POA over the Dementia parent. They don't listen and I really want to get my attorney involved. This is a poor bank who does not listen

Unprofessional

Zero stars if I could. The first convenience inside las cruces Walmart on Walton is the absolute worst. They get mad at you for bringing in smaller bills to deposit. I get tips so I'm bringing in a lot of $1 and $5 bills at the end of the month to save me from making multiple trips to the bank. They talk under their breath right in front of me, joke around and complain with co workers while running the money through a money counter then treat me like I'm a criminal bringing in stolen money or something! They are so rude and unprofessional. The manager and the two other shorter meatballs that work there and the tweaker looking dude have all done it to me. If you don't like counting money through a money MACHINE at that then why on earth do you work at a bank? Very lazy individuals. Oh and please stop playing your ghetto music and start taking PROFESSIONAL pictures to hang on your wall. Nobody wants to see your filtered Snap chat photos on a bank wall.

Loss prevention won't give you any name or reason why they hold a check but will place a hold on a check I've banked there 9 years plus with no issues on my account!
LP does whatever they want then leave you high and dry on Saturday's and Sunday with no help or resolution. The bank teller act like they care they don't…the back office doesn't care at all they care about is making sure they go home on time. Worse bank to work for worse bank to bank with…if your a poor man don't bank here if you got money…they will take every penny they can.

Not even worth one star

I have banked with this institution for over 20 years and the service has gone down considerably. From the clueless tellers in the banks (dreadful individuals) to the ridiculously long wait to speak with someone on the phone (over an hour the last time I had to call), they do everything they can to let you know... THEY REALLY DON'T CARE. They allowed fraudulent, unauthorized transactions to go through for nearly $400, but put a hold on my account a few months ago when I made a purchase for $20. Make it make sense! And anyone expecting a quick resolution to unauthorized charges can forget it. I was told I will be reimbursed for any fees or charges assessed if my account overdrafts because of the theft. But what am I supposed to do in the meantime while they decide if my money was actually stolen? I have bills that need to be paid, but I can't pay them because they've given the money to thieves and now I have to wait 10 days to get it back. Thoroughly disgusted with the lack of care or concern. As soon as I get my money back (and they WILL give me my money back because they don't want this smoke) I'm closing this account and going somewhere that I know my money will be secure.

Bad business

I was in walmart today. Got cash when checking out, but all you get are 29 dollar bills. I needed a couple of tens, so I stepped over to the bank, Ist conveniencs bank, to change a twenty. I had to wait quite a while as there was only one person there. A man came out of the back and waited on me, Finally, just to advise me, I had to be a depositor to get any help from them. Would not even change a twenty for me. If they are in walmart, they should help walmart customers. I will now, Definatley NEVER be one of there depositors. If they would have changed my twenty, and told me they would love to have me as a customer, I may have considered it. But not the way they handeled it. Shame on you. People, stay away from Ist convenience bank.

I give ZERO stars! Nothing convenient about this bank! I'm working in California, residing and trying to bank in NM. The most horrible stressful experience of my life. I've been trying to deposit my pay check for 5 days. Now due to there "mistakes" I can't access my money till Monday my check was deposited last wendsday. Ugh so frustrating. After this check clears im Definitely closing this account after 4yrs of stressfull banking im done with this bank. Good riddens. This bank is really crap I received an email an hour ago saying that my check has cleared I checked my mobile banking account it states that the money is there I go to the store to use my card and it says it's declined the bank is rejecting any charges I called to check my balance and my money still not there but the mobile banking app states that the money is there this bank is so full of it it's just disgusting I'm so angry right now I'm definitely closing my accountant geez unbelievableI

I have both checking and savings accounts and have maintained a couple thousand dollars between them. Never an overdraft or any kind of negative banking practice and recently I had an unauthorized charge and this stink-hole of a bank sides with the scammer and screws me! Accounts will be closed today! Stay away as they will give your money away!

I made an online dispute, also cancel my debit card. Week later I come to find out they close my dispute ticket, without contacting me like it said on their website, plus they didn't cancel my debit card, got more money taking out of my account aging. I try to contact them and they keep putting me on hold after an hour someone respond and transfer me to despite charges department! The department was the worst they never answer. I call again the same thing happen! I was on the phone basically all day! The reason I kept calling it's because it's an important matter. I had to take my money out of the account and I'm closing my account and my siblings are doing the same! Worst bank never ever had i experience anything like it. DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK! It's better to have your money under your mattress and more safe then having it with them! ‍ I think this is enough proof!

This morning at 6:52 am I checked my account for my paycheck like I do every morning starting 6 days before my Payday which is the last day of the month and the 15th. So this morning at 6:52 it was in there. My husband and I make plans for the day. About an hour and a half after I took a screenshot of my money in there we went to check out with 161 dollars worth of stuff. The card was declined because 1st convenience bank took my check back out. Today when I brought all my proof to Juan Guiterrez, all his phone calls to his bosses only talked them into fixing this problem by Monday instead of their original determined date of Tuesday. Turns out that 1st convenience bank owners never meant for me to receive my check 4,5, and 6 days early all the times it did slip through before now. So my husband and I fully intend to close account here Monday. We'll open another elsewhere by Friday. The bank robbers are the bank at 1st convenience. They had OVER 2 and a half hours to remedy this today and did not do so

I have been more then patient and let alot go. But from the unexplained money coming out of my account. And the fact that my account continues to be over drafted. When I have overdraft protection. Which I thought meant I wasn't able to be overdrafts. Plus the fact that reaching someone to figure out why this keeps happening is almost impossible. I will be closing my account asap. I will be going to a different bank soon. I do not recommend this bank to anyone. Jeff C.

I promise this is one of the worse banks to put your money in they do not care if your funds had been taken. Customer service is horrible their attitude when calling is bad! I was on hold for over an hour waiting for someone to pick up and when they finally picked up after the 5th time call my call was dropped, I'm so angry just about all the money I saved and worked hard for is GONE! I put my money in the bank to keep it safe I honestly did better just keeping it home. I don't understand why the bank doesn't have a fraud alert they should have automatically noticed fraudulent activity my card was used in 4 different states within minutes of apart! Lord, I'm so mad and disgusted my money is gone! Can anyone please tell me what I can do against this bank to get my money back bc as of now this bank is no help! Giving 1 star is far too many stars.

BEWARE... DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

I withdrew cash from one of their branches inside a Walmart, and they gave me a counterfeit $100 bill that was discovered when I took the cash to deposit at another bank. HOW CAN A BANK HAVE COUNTERFEIT MONEY AND BE HANDING IT OUT TO CUSTOMERS! And of course when I returned to tell them what occurred, they took no responsibility because I had already left the bank with the cash. Who examines cash they withdrew from a bank to make sure it is real? You trust the bank, but I have learned my lesson, DO NOT TRUST FIRST CONVENIENCE BANK IN NORTH SCOTTSDALE!
