Defective part

I bought a part and it was broken at the factory, I paid for the mechanic's service and then when the store sent me another replacement part, I had to pay for the replacement service again, this company made us spend unnecessary money.

Purchased a radiator fan assembly in July, it broke slung parts through radiator. Had to replace radiator and fix fan assembly. They were willing to replace fan assembly but not compensate for $160.92 radiator and tow bill $95 plus antifreeze $24 due to their faulty part. They wouldn't even reimburse me the cost of the fan$113. They don't stand behind there product. Your product failed causing other damage you should be liable.

Returns are a HASSLE

I emailed them requesting a refund. I got what I now realize is an automated message saying my refund would be processed and not to bother returning the item as it was damaged during delivery. Then I got more emails asking what the part was, what was damaged, and if I wanted a refund. All of which I answered in the first and then second email. They're do disorganized it's ridiculous!

1A Auto has very cheap parts, do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get a company that will actually honor their warranty. I have a part that is defective and they WILL NOT replace because they say it is not listed for my vehicle. I provided the part number... offered to take it to the deal and no dice.

Bad part

I bought some Shocks for my car on the 9 month of 2020. Now is December took my car back to my mechanic he said the shocks was is not good called 1a They sent me another one now the shock is still no good call them back to get my money back they tell me I have to wait till Monday and today is Friday and I have to go to work so I paid twice for a part that's not good will miss work because of them do not order any parts from them my review is a zero I have to put 1 on the review because They don't have zero

Husband orders rear end kit and received the front end. They sent the wrong part, they expect us to pay for return shipping $39 dollars! Lets waste my money. When I do get a refund were taking are business else where. You lost money and future customer, big mistake! Bad Business not repretable!

Don't buy their struts
November 6, 2020

I bought a pair of struts for my 2012 Lexus ES350 from this company. The left driver side after then install started to rattle every time I went over a small bump. It was found to be defective. I ordered a replacement and got the wrong side strut. I ended up having my shop order a local strut which cost me a lot of money. I will never ever forever use this company again for any auto products.

Waste of time and money

I ordered brakes and rotors for my car and they sent me wrong ones and didn't even carry the right ones so i was stuck paying return shipping on a 100lb box for nothing and wasted a week when I needed my car fixed ASAP

No quality control

I was very descriptive with my review on 1A Auto's website of their headlamps & parking lamps quality but they removed my comments. I wasn't derogatory, but I did say crap, which they are. They say their headlamps mirror OEM lamps. Not even close. The mounting pin didn't line up on either headlamp and the parking lamp's hole for the marker light sockets were deformed. After some modifications I finally got to turn on the lights. Passenger side ok. Driver's side appears to have shadows when casting lights on a wall. My original lamps went 16 years! Doubt these will make it 16 months if that. Buy if you want and see for yourself.

Promised a Thursday delivery, now item is expected to arrive by end-of-day Saturday. Item was more expensive, but I chose 1A because of the turn-around time. So I overpaid for the item, and will get it later than the other vendors could get it to me.

Ordered almost a complete replacement for the braking and steering on my 2006 Saturn Vue (Pads, Rotor, and Hub and wheel bearing assembly) a few months ago. Finally got time off or work to be able to change out the parts, making sure to follow manufacturing torque specs for all. I've replaced the parts in the past so was confident that it was done properly. The front driver side wheel bearing popped only 2 days after install. Had a mechanic pull both hubs and pull the bearing from it for new ones. Attempted to contact 1A Auto to make a complaint about fautly parts, they rufused to do anything due to the part being tampered and blame the issue on incorrect torque. Never will use their products and will make sure others in the area are aware of this crappy business

Ordered a replacement crank sensor and paid more in postage than I did for the actual part. Once fitted it ran terribly so replaced it back with the original faulty sensor (at least I could drive it). Opened a return the very next day and because the part had been fitted they said I am unable to return. Waste of time, waste of money and their attitude stinks

Radiator last 6 months

Radiator last 6 months, they said it was covered but not in stock (it was?), so I had to box it up somehow and ship back on my own dime only to receive a refund which would be a ton of head ache and I'd only get half my money back, I knew I should have purchased it somewhere that had a local presence to make returns easier. These auto parts places are as bad as the shops.

Update: fortunately they sent me a prepaid label that only cost me like $15 or so instead of the $100 I was going to have to pay on my own, but I had to ask for this twice so I'm still not happy but that should be noted.

Nightmare to deal with
September 22, 2020

First of all I only received 2 out of 3 boxes (brake kit) and it was a nightmare dealing with them to get the last one resent. The 2 boxes I did received were completely destroyed and were missing the part numbers. I took it all to a mechanic only to be told the parts were the wrong size. Now (even though their site says "guaranteed to fit") they want me to pay shipping for 100+ pounds of parts to send it back for a refund. They are claiming the ad says it is for the V10 version of my car but the ad does not say that and it says it was supposed to fit! (see pic) Do not order from these scammers!

I ordered parts for my car on 9/11/20. Were to be delivered 9/15/20. I called about the parts today and was told the order was cancelled because of some fraud protection B. S. This is the second time this has happened! The lady I spoke with said I could reorder. Then she informed me that they are out of stock on the right headlight that was part of a package deal. I will be taking my business elsewhere! Had to give 1 star because there was no place for 0 stars.
