A 1-800-Got-Junk truck cut across 2 lanes of traffic and almost side swiped me today at Granville and 70th in Vancouver BC it was a case of I'm bigger than you so I don't care. Well I had my 4 lb dogs in the car and they went smashing through the back of the car seats. Very dangerous driving, careless and rude to cut someone off like that with your dangerous driving. Me and my friend driving with me were stunned. Will make it our mission to spread the word about your terrible company with rude and inconsiderate employees causing danger to people.

We got a whole lot of stuff taken away and the driver from 1 800 Got Junk was very friendly and had no trouble moving out everything quickly, even an old air conditioning unit.
We were fortunate that his truck came to our neighborhood and the driver, Gabriel, was trying to fill his truck so we were offered service for a minimal charge.
He was able to take everything we wanted to get rid of. There are very few restrictions such as gasoline and paint.

We tore down an existing built in barbeque and concrete slab. The debris was moved to our side yard. Wanting to get the debris removed quickly, we decided to call 1 800 Got Junk. They were friendly and came when they said. Those are the only two reasons that we gave them one star. There estimate was way off and they called their truck and trailer full when physics certainly would allow much more concrete to be safely added. As a consumer, we fully expect that an estimate should be somewhat close to what the company says they will do. When they declared the job done, it was no where near what they said they would do. They gave an excuse of their truck couldn't handle the weight. There was no scale used at all for a safety check. Not only did they not take near the debris that their estimate stated, they lacked equipment to do a proper job. They had a broom only and two men, one who used gloves and he other who did not. If you haul concrete pieces, you need gloves, shovels and wheelbarrows and a ramp to get it in your truck. These men scooped up handfuls of concrete pieces by hand and walked it to the truck and threw it in. They were at our house for an hour and 15 minutes. It seemed as though they had it in their minds that they would scoop concrete pieces for an hour, call the truck full, and charge us a ridiculous amount of money for very little debris moved. We stated that we were going to give them a poor review after talking to them about not being close to their estimate. However, no one really seemed to be upset over being given a poor review. We know they are just the workers but we felt this was a sign of a poorly run company. We are very disappointed and do not want anyone else to be misled and overcharged. So now we are back to renting a trailer from a big box store and doing the rest of the work by ourselves. We should have done that to begin with!

This company has ubiquitous ads and bills themself as ecologically forward because they recycle or donate items. They had two trucks, one for "junk" and one for "donations," but they only thing they were interested in donating were large pieces of furniture. Everything else was trashed, small items which an organization like Goodwill could make use of. I know that it shouldn't matter that some of these items were family heirlooms, but I had to leave the house because of the sound of things breaking when they literally threw the items out the window into their truck. Estimates they give are subject to change because it depends on how many trucks they have to fill. I was not able to leave a review on their site and the only ones they posted were positive.

Hello my name is Brian Johnson first time calling this company I fill I wasn't educated enough on the pricing situation booked appointment online and wasn't told any information about the price until everything was on the truck the drivers told me it would be anywhere from $150-200 ended up paying $250 for a little bit of stuff in the backyard on Tuesday Apri 6th 2021 not really a satisfied customer for first time I would like some of my money back since I wasn't really informed about price.

The Perth Got Junk team was horrible and abusive on the telephone to me. There was a miscommunication about the method of payment and instead of trying to clear it up was told I was yelled and and told I was the one mistaken. I was then pocket dialled and heard the owner saying words to the effect of "go f*ck yourself" in reference to me. Do not use this abusive business operator

I'm incredibly impressed with my experience with 1-800 Got Junk. They were so kind about rescheduling last minute due to a family issue popping up then arrived 20 minutes EARLIER than the earliest time window they'd given (and called to give me a heads up that they'd be early, asking if that was okay). Christian and De'Andre were polite, friendly, and efficient. Everything was packed up in less than 30 minutes and they even managed to fit it into the smallest space they'd quoted. I highly, highly recommend this company and will absolutely be using them in the future!

I am extremely satisfied with the service! I recommend this company to anyone who has any junk they need to be removed. The employers who came in took everything out efficiently and in a timely matter, not to mention they were very friendly and the price was great! I will be inviting them back if I need anything else thrown away.

I hired 1 800 GotJunk to help clear out my father's home. Two of the guys showed up smelling like pot. Then, they filled the truck up 3/4 of the way and said "we are collecting payment and leaving now." I asked why they weren't filling the entire truck and was told it's because the truck cover was not working and things would fly off the truck on the highway if they filled it to the top. Of course, this is ridiculous. I objected and said that I shouldn't be charged 675 to fill a truck and then not be allowed to actually fill a truck because it's broken. They didn't like my objection and the little pot-head punk yelled at me and said I was not appreciative of all his hard work! Ultimately the situation was rectified by a manager after I called to complain. However, it was added stress when I really didn't need any.

They came and began to fill the truck than told me they could not continue due to bugs; even the items in the yard that had been left there they did not take. But charged me for a partial truck. When they came back they said the truck was full but when I checked it did not look full to me. It cost me $1,000.00 and they took very little and it seem to be a struggle to get them to do the job they advertised. What a waste of money.

It was a great experience how these guys picked our junk up and took them for us. I think it is saving because if we do our selves it will take whole day and renting cost + dumping cost. I strongly recommend them here in south bay.

The amount removed was only the equivalent of 2 pickup trucks. They had an easy job to remove this stuff from a nursing home, all on one floor. Were changing their arrival time 3 times. Were originally coming between 3 and 5. Phoned said it was cancelled but rebooked. Then phoned said would come around 11. Called 10 minutes later and said would be there at noon. Half hour later phoned and said would come at 1 pm. They arrived with half a load on the trunk from another pickup, yet they charged us for 2/3 of a load. This process was poorly set up. DO NOT USE THIS OUTFIT.

I called and spoke with a gentlemen in regards to their service. He quoted me two different prices. One price was for this. The other was if the total of the items were less than1/8 of the truck. He was a total bully. I told him we only wanted to check price. I can have someone at your house today to give you an estimate. I told him no. We were only checking price. If you wait any longer I can not promise service today. I again told him that was fine-we were only checking. I told him I would call back. Do not waste your time with this bully of a company. I found someone in my neighbor and for half the price that they quoted me.

These Men Were Very Rude to me and told me it costs over $500 to move my 3 items, they also appeared to be unintelligent, when I asked questions they were not really able to answer my question, since they aren't very bright. They refused to give me price over the phone so I had to have them come in person and in Person they wouldn't give me total price for one item, and They weren't willing to negotiate with me period, wish I had never called this lousy company. This company only cares about themselves and they are only looking out for themselves. I am an attractive female who can walk outside and ask a man to move something without having to pay $500.
