I was charged $200 to remove a full sized mattress with hardware that i broke down myself. The job literally took 10 minutes with no obstructions. Didnt have a choice to pay it since they quote after they get there & I needed it removed that day. Next time just go for a local guy or service.

I worked for this company they don't pay enough to do what they do. Their incentive system is a joke. They tell you the hours are 7AM-7PM but you wind up working to 10-11 at night. They give you 4 set days to work and don't ask to change it. When you say something they say " you have to have open availability" after you set your days in the interview and nothing about open availability was ever mentioned. Something needs to change

2 guys showed up no advance call and I had the items all lined up in my garage and I even moved my car to allow them to pull their empty truck right up to the garage. I have a small 1 car garage and the items that they were taking away took up about 1/4 of the garage if that 5 contractor bags weighing less than 20 lbs. each and old push lawnmower, an old plastic filing cabinet, 10-12 empty collapsed boxes, a few old ceiling fan motors, 2 iron security bars, glass and metal car door, some old car exhaust parts. It took them maybe 4-5 minutes to put my items in their truck just throwing them in and allowing the items to fill up the bottom of the massive dump truck bed and then them trying to charge me upwards of $500 because the items I had was almost a truck load. What a joke. If the items were put in the bed the proper way it would of taken up less the 1/8th of that dump truck bed. Do not use this service complete bait and switch the experience was nothing like the website promised. The 2 drivers were adjusting my price based on how much my tip to them was the more I tipped them the less I had to pay for the items being removed. Terrible company.

We were highly delighted with our team of guys. Horace and Daniel. Hard, awesome, fast workers. We had a tenant in our house that left a humongous amount of junk and trash. But this team of guys cleared it all out. Inside and out less than 3 hours. Im talking a lot of furniture, mattresses, tv, printers, 2 washers and dryer, clothes, pool table, yard furniture, numerous un no amounts of household trash. 5 refrigerators, 3 vacuum cleaners. The list goes on. We appreciate all their HELP! They are awesome, if ever the need should come up. We would not use anyone else!

Called and had to wait a week and a half for them to come. I had what I wanted them to take on my porch. A rug, ironing board, 2 boxes of mixed Cd's, DVD's and VHS Videos. Two bags of books and a couple of picture frames and a small color TV in working condition. They quoted me a price of $495.00 and said it would be a $50.00 surcharge for the TV. I. Couldn't believe the price. I thanked them for coming but said the price is way too high. They said they could do it for $425.00 but there was still a surcharge on the TV. I said no and they said the best they could do was $385 and the surcharge. I couldn't believe they were playing, "let's make a deal". I don't like this company, nor do I trust them.

Josh A and Jonelle were kind and helpful with some junk in my Sugar Land, TX backyard. The price was fair and the service was friendly.

Ray and Louis from the Manchester Ct office arrived for a night pickup. I am in the process of clearing out a parents apartment. They came in and got the job done quickly and efficiently! I was a little surprised by the cost however. This is no reflection on the guys! They helped me rectify a stressful situation!

Great, prompt, courteous service. Quick and efficient. Crew arrived on-time, called ahead to let me know they were on their way, and were very polite and professional.

My appt. Was with the Lake George/Queensbury location. My 2 hr. Window was not met and I received no notification. I called 4x from within the time window and after and was told by the main number that the franchisee would contact me. No call. After 4th call the franchise did call. Stated that anyone can put in an order for any time and a local Marshall's store put in the same time / more trucks / blah blah blah. Marshall's business is clearly better than my single truck, so why honor the appt. Made a week earlier. They also stated there was no cell service from the truck... BUT somehow the truck could notify the franchise that they were running late, but the franchise couldn't reach out to me to keep me informed. Truck did arrive 1 1/2 hrs. Late, offered a $50 discount (on a $750 truck) and the haulage fee for a tv was $50 Each and a mattress was $50. A local competitor charges $25 for each of these, so clearly another money grab from 1-800... I refused the service. My time is as valuable as any customers (even a Marshall's), so the comittment to customer service is minimal, (and franchise also agreed that not contacting a customer is poor customer service... but so what?) I wasted literally a day, travelling out of state to arrive on site at the agreed time, with no communication and a 5.5% discount offer on a $900 fee. Clearly there are other options, and clearly 1-800 Got Junk from franchise level at Lake George and corporate level (because I needed to call them 4x, and got no assistance until almost1 hour after the timeframe expired)

COME IN AND THEN STEAL WHATEVER THEY WANT. I was not consulted, my kids set this up since I was hospital

I chose Got Junk because their website says they will donate items that are donatable. However, they destroyed perfectly good wooden furniture, even kicking apart a table to fit it into the truck. They are good at getting rid of junk, but just expect all of your items to end up in a landfill.

Had one great experience removing old couches from my parents home. Rj and Juan were very professional and took extra precaution when it came to removing their junk. Thank you all I'm definitely recommending this to family and friends!

It took 3 days for them to show up, thier add days, we will be there after you hang up. I had a pile of basement crap, less than 60 cubic feet. They wanted, $460 I can get a 20 yard container for the same price. And it took three days to find out. They take with both hands. National average for each 1 square foot is $2. They demanded $8, or over $400 for 60 feet of basement trash in a pile behind the house. So I ordered a container instead. Save time, they are nuts.

From my contact with Sinthuja on the phone to the final drive away, 1800 Got Junk was a better than expected experience! Sinthuja listened, and heard what my issues were, assured me my appointment would be handled the way I wanted.
Justin and Donald were the two guys who came, and worked tirelessly! They were so pleasant, accommodating, and I would recommend these particular men to everyone! Thank you so much Justin and Donald. It was a long day (two trucks worth) and you both made it so much more pleasant than it might have been. If I need any hauling services again, I am asking for these two young men! Great job!
