I was quoted $580 for approximately (8) F150 pickup trucks and they charged me for a full truck.
I believed them and paid. The next day my son told me I only I only had (3) and to call the manager and the regional manager if I had to. The highest level of customer care did nothing to help me and said I would have to go back to the senior manager who helped with my move. Summing it up, I would have been better off getting 2 guys at 80.00 per hour on Craigslist to move my stuff. 1–800-GOT- JUNK gave me dishonest original quotes, dishonest estimates when they arrived at my home and I trusted them because I didn't know any better until my son told me. I can only warn my friends and family to never consider dealing with them or there ridiculous prices.

Unethical

Totally unethical service. These guys visited my house. Looked at the garbage and quoted price of $478. I said OK and they started moving the garbage. They stopped half the way and demanded that I should pay $538 to move the remaining garbage. Unethical and unacceptable. They didn't wear a mask and don't know whether they are fully vaccinated. Not trustworthy and unethical behavior.

Fast & efficient!

The next morning after my call, a team was here to move a book case and haul it away. The price was right, the team friendly and careful. I couldn't have asked for better service, and have used them once before with the same satisfying results.

GOT JUNK recommendation!

Danny and Tucker worked with my schedule, arrived promptly, extremely courteous, and removed the two large pieces of furniture in less than 15 minutes. Definitely recommend this team. Price very reasonable.

Never called, never showed up. Called their number 10 minutes after the end of the 2 hour scheduled time, was told they'd call within 5-10 minutes. A hour later still hadn't received a call. Called back and was told they tried multiple calling multiple times (lie). Phone would disagree. Was going to charge $350 to remove a small couch, even when their estimated cost says $100-$200. Left work early to meet them, what a waste of time. Garbage company.

The company has a strong business but is unethical, they violate labor laws and don't provide lunch breaks nor do they care their employees are over worked and on drugs. Please stop ruining peoples life's. My fiancé was sober and healthy and our family was beautiful before -800 got junk ruined our life's. Give us our family back. I care more about my daughter. If you do not believe me the other employee who also had a 1 year older kid died while working for 800 got junk. I think this company should be investigated.

This is the worst company we've ever used. They quoted us $150 and charged us $509. They take advantage of people and abuse customers with very high prices for a service that should be much less. Buyers be ware.

In August 2021 we got a $500 ballpark quote from 1800GOTJUNK (Louisville Metro location) for shed removal. We booked appt. Two men arrived that day but gave quote of $1200 and were not prepped to do the work. Said their call center shouldn't give quotes via phone. Called manager. He also said call center shouldn't quote over phone. He gave price as $1,000 flat fee based on filling two trucks, saying he'd adjust price if job was easier than expected. (We agreed since we were in a bind with the new shed being delivered the following morning). Day of removal, first truck was only half full when they finished and 2nd truck arrived on site with someone else's stuff in it. Still was only 1/4 full when they finished. Called manager to ask for price adjustment as he indicated initially. He refused any refund and didn't respond to calls. Tried resolving with customer service, but not helpful and they ignored our BBB complaint. I provided the BBB with all photos and security camera video from the job. They also took off with our landscape bricks I asked them twice to save for us. We shouldn't have been charged for two full trucks when neither one was half full. So the company's call center gives you a bogus quote over the phone, but the local company doesn't really care or bother to do anything about it.

Fast, Courteous, and Professional

While the price point took me by surprise, I found 1800GotJunk to be competitive in their pricing structure to other similar businesses. What I appreciated about my experience with them, was the timeliness, courtesy, professionalism, and speed of the employees that came to represent the company. They were simply nice young men! I would recommend this company. I gave them 4 stars simply because of the pricing. I feel that it could be a bit out of reach for many casual consumers.

Tom and partner,( I forgot his name) did an excellent job removing junk from our home in Plum Borough yesterday. Both were very cheerful and helpful. They arrived on time and had the job done in no time. This was the second pickup we had in a month from them. So glad to have a company like 1-800-Got-Junk? And the young men doing the job were courteous and hard working. I would recommend the company to anyone needing the service they provide. Carol Picklo

Called to see how much this would cosr for my brother home was told a full truck load would cost $300 once they came with the truck they said a full truck load was $680 WOW! This is not the way you do bussiness!

Don't ever use this company. They will scam you and double the prices and add extra "surcharges" for no reason. I use to work for them [trainer] and hated doing this to customers, but if you wanted a job, you had to. Take it from me. Do NOT use this company.

Similar to some of the comments about their shady pricing practices (makes used car salesman look like saints) I had 1 item (old piano) for them to take me they quoted me $379.00. I said no thank you. Then they called to see about a lower price ($300) I said sorry for wasting your time guys. Have a pricing estimate before you come out and scam me.

TERRIBLE COMPANY

Let me start off by saying that I was an employee at this company and the truck team was often not on time when taking care of customers so their saying "2 hour promise window" is not consistent at all, as well as other things.

The workplace puts on a fake smile making it seem like they care about you when you're first hired but they don't care about you at all! They just want you to do your job and all the team leads only care about is you making them extra money. The management is TERRIBLE and they have no organization whatsoever. The expectations are ridiculous and the whole system makes no sense to the point where you're just slaving to meet their standards and your conversion rate goes down for things that make no sense. ESPECIALLY if you have mental health problems then this job will 100% drain you out and will make you go crazy because you have to work for hours straight, repetitively saying/doing the same thing every day. This job caused me so much stress and all for just $15/hour - IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR SANITY, DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU FOR YOUR TIME BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER GET IT BACK!

I would like to say that I was very livid with the way my appointment was constructed on Mon-18 OCT 2021.

At first, the scheduling department did not get my time correct for their arrival. I tried to confirm the date three times prior to their arrival to ensure that Got-JUNK would show up to remove the items at a storage location in Newark, DE. On the day of my request for my items removal, approximately 6 hours prior to the time that the removal was scheduled, I confirm - there was no show. I called the 1800 # and was told that someone would show up, which now it was 1 hour after the designated time. The first person called and left a message that he was redirected to go to another location, which this left me perplexed and incensed. A person called, John, stated that he was coming with someone in 30-60 mins. I received another phone called, and this person stated that he would be at the storage location in 30 mins. John never ever showed up. However, Cordell and Jemiel showed in 30 mins.

I do "WANT" to let upper-management know that these two workers did an outstanding job. With the items I had, and the time it took to complete the task, it was very very extremely phenomenal, astounding, and spectacular. They made very rational recommendations and put in abundant amount of effort to complete the task. I would like to acknowledge their work today-18 OCT 2021 in every way. I would like to make every exertion to make this known to their manager and the company's CEO.

Please, award them with any bonuses and/or raises that they truly desire because the task that they accomplished today was WELL ON POINT!

Please let me know who I need to contact to escalate this assertion and pronouncement for Jemiel and Cordell's work. Without their effort and perseverance, I would not have had an satisfying experience with Got-JUNK.
