I was in desperate need of new contact lenses and I was very pleased that I was able to order them. Although my insurance doesn't cover much of the cost and the price of contact lenses has gone up... it is a bit of a hardship.

Rebate is not easy

Rebate process looks like to be designed that people don't want to go through due to too much works. First you need to print the form and then you need to mail by USPS tracking, which cost money and you need to go to the post office. That is recommended so if you mail by first class mail, they may say they have never received it.

Phone worked better than online

I had trouble ordering online, so I called, and that went swimmingly. The representative had me take a picture of my prescription and email it to her right on the spot, and we were finished within a few minutes. The contacts showed up maybe 1.5 weeks later, and they work like a charm. There aren't so many options for gas permeable lenses out there (Costco doesn't do them for example), and I was relieved and grateful to get these so quickly and without hassles (my prescription exam happened in 2022, and the representative didn't say a word about that--I've had the same or almost identical prescription for probably 20 years). Five stars! I double checked--I ordered the lenses on January 6 and received them Monday or Tuesday this week--that would be January 13 or 14, so bully for 1-800-GET-LENS. I'm in Colorado. I paid $126 basically for my set of contacts that will last me for years (until I stupidly lose one again like the event that triggered this purchase).

Over priced

I don't like being charged $177.00 + for taxes on top of product. Really labor is usually not included with the taxes. And the rebate card is not a deal if it is not directly going towards the amount being charged which was $557.00. This was misleading on the website.

I'm not impressed

I ordered my contacts on December 22, I didn't hear back from them regarding if my Dr approved it or not, when I finally heard back after I sent emails to them they said the had called my Dr and didn't get any answer, they said they were going to call again, they finally said it was approved but it would take 2 weeks to get my contacts because it was a prescription that they didn't carry. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get my contacts where as if I ordered them right from my Dr I would have had them in a week. Not impressed.

After no one wanted to track my order I was told to send in a form pertaining to said order. They made it seem that it was not their fault and I was responsible to fix the problem. Terrible customer service.
