My experience has been quite pleasant: my papers were filled out on-line, and were at the doctor's offices when I arrived. Easy!
Aftee moving to a new city, I successfully used ZocDoc to find a good dermatologist and primary care physician in my healthcare network. Scheduling appointments was easy too. I'd co after using it again someday, but for now I'm set.
This company executed a complete bait and switch on our office. We were billed several cycles without a set up that worked, they blamed their incompetence on my office staff. They promised an easy synch with our EMR and after days on the computer following their prompts, the set up was never completed. Their representative did not respond to our requests for assistance. The only thing they were consistent with was taking funds from my account. Then, they suggested that they have patients schedule blindly on a secondary schedule that WE would have to collate with our EMR. This would negate any call back or reminder services and make our staff have to schedule the visits anyway. What benefit is that? To date, they tell us that they cannot help us because they are in New York. Is there a rating less than one star?
I left a review on ZocDoc, the review was ignored. The dentist I went to nearly asphyxiated my to death with N2O, and I went to the hospital. ZocDoc didn't take my review - even though I didn't use any strong language, and I booked the appointment with them. IF they drop negative reviews for paying doctors, they are fake.

ZocDoc is great in helping you locate a doctor when you don't know where to begin.
After I had a bad experience with one of MD doctor, and left a bad review on the Zocdoc website. However, within hours, the published review was deleted! We then learned from others that this website only keeps good reviews, and deletes all the bad reviews, if the client pays an annual fee of $3000. So do not trust the Zocdoc website, they cheat on the patients and are dishonest.

When you cancel an appointment. It appears on Zoc doc that you visited the doctor.
It also sends you another email asking how was your visit?
Also if you look at your appointments on zoc doc it shows you have an appointment even thou you cancelled. That is 1 2 3 gliches in the system that should easily be fixed by any programmer. Furthermore... it doesn't confirm on this page that site jabber that your remarks have been submitted thats 4.
Hi Jason,
We are so sorry for the confusion! Can you give us a call at (855) 962-3621 so we can take a look at your account? You should receive an email right away if you cancel through ZocDoc, and we want to make sure everything is seamless for you!

I really like to have the search by doctors name from the mobile app.
Consolidates reminders, provider finders, and appointment makers into a single, easy application.
I recently tried to schedule a doctors appointment through ZocDoc. I chose my insurance carrier, found a doctor in my area, selected the appointment time, and then filled out my personal/medical information.
I get a call later that day from the doctors office. They told me the following:
A) They needed all my information again because their system wasn't synced with ZocDoc.
B) The doctor was not available at the time I selected and wasn't available for another two days after I selected (again their systems weren't synced with ZocDoc).
C) They were not in my insurance network.
Literally, every service ZocDoc's appointment planner was supposed to provide didn't work. Never wasting my time again. #EpicFail
Hi Eric,
This should definitely have not been your experience using ZocDoc. Our doctors guarantee the information they list on our site is accurate, and we want to get to the bottom of this right away. Could you give us a call at (855) 962-3621? We would be happy to take a look at what happened here.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I've only interacted with ZocDoc when an email was sent to me requesting I check in for my appointment ahead of time. Both times, I checked in but I guess my doctor's office didn't receive the info because they called me to make sure I was coming. The first time, however, I did get to see the doctor without filling out anything. The second time, well, I was already in the system so I don't know why I had to go through all the trouble with Zoc Doc the second time. Great idea, but needs some kinks worked out.
Hi there,
We are so sorry you had some trouble with those check-in forms. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 and we can take a look at what happened here.

I like ZocDoc! It is simple, straightforward, easy-to-use, give great reminders at appropriate times, etc. This app is way better than most of the med apps.
My experience with ZocDoc has been great. I can't say anything bad.
I don't like it. I think it's to cutesy - more appealing to the young. If I'm going to
State my opinions, I want the format to look more business-like.
It's basically everything I ever wanted in terms of being able to find health care providers near me, read their reviews, and book them online. Zocdoc has also been very responsive about providers who reschedule appointments and they seem to take feedback seriously.
Went to ZocDoc to cancel an appointment and could not find a way to do it. Finally sent an e-mail and made a call. ZocDoc also is overly rigid in its time allocations. Once you state the purpose of your visit, you are locked into time slots that have the minutes allocated for that purpose. It seems that the whole operation is ZocDoc-focused, not patient-focused. ZocDoc also seems not to be coordinated with the patient portal that Valley operates. I think I can make an appointment on either system, but the other system won't know about it. I'm not sure, though, because I have used each system only a few times. Overall, I am not at all impressed with ZocDoc. It could disappear and I would not miss it.
Hi James,

ZocDoc is extremely user-friendly and has excellent information regarding physicians. I am very happy I chose to use this for my medical needs!
Thought it was a good idea, but received no notice that my dentist has left. What exactly is the purpose of the site?
Hi Pamela,

New to this site, but it has helped me locate several different doctors since moving here (Washington DC) in April.
Site has proved helpful in several different ways including patient reviews.
Expect to keep using ZocDoc
I have had a great experience using ZocDoc.
Here's why:
Good Dr choice (NYC area)
Enough Dr reviews to make an informed choice
Accurate info on which insurance policies are accepted
Answer: Hello Mark. Zocdoc offers a closed-loop review system that allows patients to share their experiences after being seen for an appointment booked on Zocdoc. These reviews can be found on each individual provider's Zocdoc profile. You can search for a provider at https://www.zocdoc.com/. Please let us know if we can help you find the care that you need or if there is a different set of reviews that you are trying to access at this time. You can reach our service team at (855)962-3621.
Answer: Hi Sandra, we hope that you were able to get the care that you were looking for. At Zocdoc, we are not able to offer any medical advice or guidance so we recommend you contact your doctor directly if you need to ever verify they will be able to provide the treatment you are looking for. Feel free to reach out to the Zocdoc team at (855) 962-3621 or [email protected] if there is anything we can do to help you find the care that you need.
Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
Answer: Hello Swetha. Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help you find a doctor and book an appointment right online. If you go to www.Zocdoc.com, you can search for doctors by specialty, location, and insurance. You'll be able to see a list of doctors and their availability. Once you select a doctor, you can choose the time that is best for you. Once you complete the booking process, the doctor will receive your appointment information and confirm your appointment via email. This is completely free for you as a patient. Please give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you need help with this or anything else!
Answer: Hi Amanda! That depends on the doctor's office! Every provider is different, so it would be best to get in touch with them about specific pricing information. Give us a call at 855-962-3621 if you have any other questions. In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
Answer: Hi Mallory! Thanks for your question! You can see a provider's reviews by viewing the full profile and scrolling down. All of the reviews will be listed there toward the left side of the page. Give us a call at (855) 962-3621 if you are having any trouble! In health, Mary M. Zocdoc Service Team
