Before Zocdoc the process of finding the right doctors and specialists was a pain. From finding the right fit to coordinating appointments. I dreaded every bit of it. But with the helpful reviews on Zocdoc and the search filters that allow me to find doctors in my area and doctors who take my insurance. I can look at a calendar of available appointments and take my pick. Unless I can find a doctor with the ease of Zocdoc, I don't want it.

Made reservation, got confirmation. Got call soon after from the doctor claiming that they would not be able to honor it and maybe could do in a week. Basically, they use the site to troll for patients and then book when more convenient. In the meantime, I'm still in pain and was stuck for the weekend not having seen a doctor. Thanks a lot. Then, to add insult to injury, when I left feedback that the doctor cancelled my appointment, zoc doc called me to say "you cannot leave feedback for a doctor you didn't see" The irony of this was lost on them. So they hide negative reviews..

My GP's practice doesn't accept call in appointments and requires patients to use this service. It seems like it would be great to schedule a regular, routine visit. However, that was not what I needed. I didn't need to visit the doctor. I only needed a quick appointment for a blood-draw. There's no option for that on this site. So, I had to schedule a regular doctor's appointment and tie everyone up for 30 minutes for a simple 5 minute blood-draw. I was not impressed.

Do not trust this site for scheduling doctor's appointments!
I scheduled an appointment a few days ago with an orthopedic surgeon during at an available time window. Barely 24 hours prior to the appointment, I got an e-mail saying that there is no confirmation from the orthopedic doctor's office! So I called the orthopedic doctor's office and the call was routed to the answering service. The lady at the answering service told me that the phone line at the doctor's office was down for the past two days. So, I left a message with the service that I will be at the doctor's office at the appointed time. A couple hours later, I got a call from some Internet number saying that the said orthopedic surgeon will not be in the office today! Of course, the caller left the dysfunctional phone number for me to call back for further inquiries!
How can a doctor's appointment window be shown on the ZocDoc site as "Available" if the doctor is off that day? Worse still, the site will not quite confirm the appointment when you press the submit button. There is no technical support either. It is a nightmare! Don't use this site unless you have all the time and patience in the world to go through hell. Avoid this worthless service for your own sake!

With the help of ZocDoc, I was able to successfully locate a primary care physician, an obgyn, an eye doctor, and a dentist within minutes of my job and accepts my insurance. I love that I don't have to deal with the hassle of calling around from office to office, trying to book appointments all day long. Everything is right there where I need it! Scheduling is fast and efficient, I love the convenience of filling out paperwork prior to my visit. Rescheduling is also a breeze. The ratings and reviews for each doctor really helped me figure out which doctors best fit my needs. I've had a pleasant experience with each of my doctors, and I couldn't have done it without the help of ZocDoc. I have recommended ZocDoc to friends, family, and coworkers. Doctor's visits aren't the most exciting, but ZocDoc makes the process less stressful. Thank you!
