I am so happy that I can use zocdoc to make an appointment. It is so easy plus I get a reminder the day before my appointment. Thank you!
Whenever it is suggested that I use a website instead of the telephone, I expect it to be easier than i find it. Usually it means leaving the computer to get pieces of information I wouldn't expect to need. When making an appointment, I don't expect to have to provide more than my name and desire for an appointment, reason for that appt. When on the phone, doc's phone person can ask if insurance, etc., info is the same. On website, it has to be provided. Just seems to be more time consuming than I expect.

I have booked several appointments and found a really good doctor through ZocDoc, which I am very happy about. However, over the course of using ZocDoc I had one extremely unprofessional and unpleasant doctors appointment that I wrote a review for, but was not approved by ZocDoc. I booked an appointment with one doctor but was seen by another with no warning or explanation, who then physically forced me to get an exam I repeatedly told her I did not want! When I wrote a review stating this I was told "we aren't able to post this review because you didn't actually see this doctor." Which was the entire problem to begin with! ZocDoc needs to include an option were patients can review the doctors office AND the individual doctors! This way doctors will be rated fairly and not take the heat for staffing issues and vice versa! All in all this experience was one that has caused me to not want to use ZocDoc again, I felt like other patients had a right to know what goes on in that office and what happened to me; and I felt like ZocDoc not allowing my review was shady and just covering up the doctors mistakes since they get a cut of the money!
I love the idea of ZocDoc and the interface was intuitive. However, all of the appointments that I booked with doctors claimed to take my insurance (which was inputted correctly), but when I called to confirm all of them said they did not take my insurance. So frustrating and negates the convenience factor I thought I was gaining!

The first 2 times I booked with ZocDoc the doctor's offices called and said ZocDoc's schedule wasn't up to date and they couldn't honor the appointments I had made on the site. The next 2 appointments I made were completed smoothly. I love the idea of ZocDoc and hope they continue improving.
I love the idea of using ZocDoc to schedule appointments for my dogs vet visits. However, since I do not recieve an electronic confirmation that my appointment is reserved at one of the specified times I'd like... I might as well call to schedule my appointment. Otherwise, I am duplicating the work. Should they vet/ZocDoc be able to send me an appointment confirmation I would give it 5 stars and use it. For now, it is merely a request to my vet to call me and schedule an appointment. Hence..."An Almost Helpful Tool".

I'm sorry for any confusion! We are not a vet service, and we do not have any veterinarians registered on our site. Our site, ZocDoc, is for booking doctor and dentist appointments online. When you do book an appointment through our service, you receive a confirmation right away. Maybe one day we will have a section for pets! Please let us know if you need help with anything else.

Except for one appointment, this app was very helpful in helping remember where my doctor was at.my phones crash alot but I am able to back up my info online.

It is a great site, I loved it. What I didn't like is people offering amazon gift card for some inconvenience that happened, I told them it was not necessary and he insisted to do so, emails came and went and nothing happened, so why offer if you can't deliver, that was the most inconvenience of all, the actual site is great and convenient.

I was told to redo the questionnaire because they did not have it despite my doing it online. The receptionist asked as she could care less about this inconvenience and was unwilling to try to find my info. She insisted I redo it. I refused. I also wanted the Doc to review my previous scans and to make his own assessment. I was told the facility did not have the equipment to copy my scans which I brought in for review and did not have the equipment to analyze my scans so I left highly dissatisfied and I wasted a trip to Phoenix which was about 200 miles round trip

I didn't actually go to my doctors appointment because I found a clinic right down the road on which I live. I'm sure he would have been wonderful thouhh, after having read his reviews and browsing through his qualifications. I would recommend him based on thosr alone.
I really like the app and have found it helpful but despite this and having active appointments booked through the app I have been unable to open it for about a month. It freezes on the first screen that comes up as it loads and never moved past it.

Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
