I was charged £2.70 for the CV building tool which I paid for a checked via my online banking account. I thought that was all that was needed because I never even knew about a subscription. I never received a single email from ZETY apart from the first email where they gave me a score on my CV. That is all.
But since November 25th 2021, they have been debiting £16.70 from my bank account each month and I have not been aware. I have not been on their website since the first day I used it and I have not received any email communication from them. However, they have been charging me monthly. I only found out because my bank flagged the latest transaction as fraudulent for some reason.
I feel so violated and just traumatised to know that this company have been stealing from me for 18 months.
Please be aware, that while the CV building service may be good, they company draws you into a subscription that you don't know about and they do it so covertly that you may no realise until very long after like me. I actually heck my direct debits each month to check there in nothing coming out that I don't know about, however, ZETY didn't come up because the transaction is classed as 'recurring'... as opposed to direct debit.
I will be taking legal action due to the personal violation I feel from this company. How disingenuous to take such an amount of money from a an account when they aren't aware. Very sneaky and fraudulent.
I already canceled the subscription and they keep charging me every 14 days. $23.70 every couple of weeks after I canceled it 3 months ago. I will be notifying my credit card and filling a claim.

I payed R40 to save and download my resume I created. My card details was saved and all of a sudden R400 is deducted from my bank account (without ANY warning, no email, no SMS) just a direct deduction.
They do not warn you, they just charge you.
Take my advice and never purchase the "14 day trial"

Website is actually great it really helped me with my Resume but I paid for the Trial version and also I'm really sure that I canceled the subscription but never received a confirmation email. Today I woke up and saw that you did not cancel my sub and even charged me for a annual price. I want a refund I never used your tool after the Trial which I already paid. It's so tricky and annoying how you people making fraud money and not letting people know that the card will saved. I hope we find a resolution or I will write this review everywhere.

I like the website and the template to build my resume with, don't get me wrong but I don't need this service all the time throughout the year so I wanted to cancel my subscription. "They," tell you just go under your account in your settings and cancel it. Easy right? Well, that button is a dead button that leads you nowhere, you can even see it in the source code on your accounts page. Wasn't very happy with that but whatever, there's a customer service line. Oh, that didn't work either?! Shocker. The final resort was email and they sent me a confirmation email saying it was canceled but the best part was... they never canceled it! They are still charging me 23.70 a month for a service that "they said" was canceled 3 months ago. Yup, oh, did I say I got a confirmation email saying that it was also canceled so they made me think I wasn't going to be billed again? I'll just say that again then. Oh, and you can't see your billing history on your account since that button is also a dead button according to the source code. I've been through this pain so I hope someone else learns to not use this service.

So, the website itself is great. Just not enough time right now to want to put money down until I'm ready. However, the Cancel Subscription button never worked on any browser I tried which was a disappointment. Their email response is slower than molasses. So I ended up having to find time to call. Canceling on phone was at least quick. It felt a little weird though. No hold music. It was a little hard to hear the person helping me but she was quick to resolve my issue, so for that I'm thankful.

I was very disappointed to find out a subscription I thought was cancelled had been charging me all year on a monthly basis. I tried to explain to the refund department that I wasn't aware I was being charged and urged them to consider the last time I logged in (which was in 2021) to refund me the entire year of 2022 (to date). They refunded me 2/9 months I was being charged. Very poor customer service, make sure you cancel your subscription with this sketchy company.
