I ordered premium prescription sunglasses from Zenni. Look at the pic. The frames I ordered were supposed to be gold. But they came in a chrome color. I called customer service and they said to send them a pic, which I did. And I put the glasses next to an actual gold object so they can see the difference. They still insist that these are gold frames. They did give me the option to return them for an exchange, but I have to pay for the shipping back and the shipping for the new item, which is totally unfair considering the color on these was completely misrepresented.
I recently noticed that the paint was flaking off the frames of my metal rimmed glasses. I contacted Zenni and they told me that the glasses are only guaranteed for 30 days and I would have to purchase new frames to correct the problem.
The failure of the paint to adhere to the frames is clearly due to the base metal not being prepped properly prior to painting. This is a manufacturing defect. The paint job should be guaranteed for at least a year.
I have purchased many pairs of glasses from Zenni and have always been satisfied with them until now.

Transitions can't be used for driving into the sun, or with a broad brimmed hat. They don't change. Zenni doesn't tell you that, and they won't make you good.

First order. Called them as lense were wrong. Representative offered to correct the order. But next day received email saying offerer had been changed. Second time, despite of paying, order is still wrong. Never again. Clearly contacts is my favorite. They know what they're doing. They've ethical too

I just received my third pair of prescription glasses from Zenni. The fit is perfect, the transition lenses are perfect and the style is just what I was looking for. I have the progressive no-line bifocal, transition lenses. I have paid up to $700 for new gasses at optical store, and in one case had to go back 4 times for adjustments. ALL of my Zenni glasses fit perfect every time, never needing to be adjusted. And the price for each pair I have purchased was in the $100 range. Shipping is never over 2 weeks, usually around 10 days. There are many styles to choose from, and I like the online "try on" so you can see how they look on your picture. It's a very simple process to get the glasses you need. I highly recommend Zenni.

I ordered a pair from the 2 to 3 day delivery section on Tuesday evening and they were on my doorstep Thursday at 8 pm, coming from Ohio to Washington. I was VERY SCEPTICAL about ordering prescription glasses online but my glasses broke and I was told about Zenni so I made a quick and inexpensive order. My frames were $15 + $19 for 2 to 3 days, $51.90 total. I chose the 2nd step up from their basic lens option (thickness), added anti reflection and they are great. I was worried about the thickness of the lenses or that they would look plastic and cheap (as they did at Americas Best) but they look excellent. You can't tell that I have a inexpensive lens. I'm using Zenni Optical from now on, they did an excellent job in just 2 days!

I ordered two pairs of glasses and used their "find my size" feature on my phone. Got the measurements and even inputed the current measurements of my current frames that I own because it gave an option at checkout to include those measurements if I had them? Why would they ask that? I assumed they would use those measurements and apply them to the new glasses I was ordering.The glasses I finally received were not my size and when I went online to "chat" about it and provide yet again the exact measurements that I needed, they could not provide those.I asked for 100% refund as a result and they only gave me 50% stating that was their policy becasue I did not request a refund in the first 24hrs...the absolute earliest I could get a pair of glasses shipped to me for an extra $20 would be 2-3 business days.the 24hrs is a cop out on good customer service. This company does not custom build any of their glasses and only offer very specific sizes.beware of the "find my size" feature because they have very few options that reside in those ranges and many of them are not the same measurements but different measurements in the same category range like "Large" and "X Large" I

BUYER BEWARE! When I received my glasses, the first time I wore them I was extremely dizzy and it took hours before I was back to normal. Later I tried them again and did not notice that my vision was improved. I have two other pairs of glasses that I purchased from my eye doctor and they work perfectly. I figured I try an online company to save some money and get an extra pair. Bad decision! I went through the process of entering my prescription as well as their manual process for getting your PD to take a picture with a credit card.
After 2 weeks of trying to wear these glasses, I contacted customer service. They asked for a copy of my prescription so they can check. They responded that the information is correct but the PD was missing. I said that I used your manual process online. I mean why not right? Saves me a trip or call to my eye doctor.
So turns out. Their manual process is not accurate. So why offer it right? The only reason I can think of is to get my order done quicker at my expense.
So, here are my options, I can return under 30 day return policy for 50% minus shipping or send it back for them to inspect if there was an error on their part. Also I have to get the PD from my eye doctor. If they find out that they made a mistake, of which I have to basically take their word, I get 100% store credit. I'll pass! I'll take the 50% hit and never buy glasses online again!

Ordered Bifocals through these, biggest mistake of my life & time.
Requested Bifocal line to the half of lens, contacted my OD for help in filling the order to make sure as had the same issue with pair from him (which they fixed it & got me a new pair).
Not per my specifications & won't refund the Taxes paid too. Worst company to business with, buyers be aware.

I bought a pair of "progressives" from this company and the cost went from $15 up to $80 real fast. Ok no problem, I paid it because I needed them. I received them and the prescription was all wrong, I can't even see out of them and guess what? They're not progressives! Confirmed with my own optometrist.
So I contact them hoping they'll let me return them for a full refund so I can get my glasses elsewhere. The answer I get? We'll send you a label and we will "inspect them" and it will take 14 business days. 14 BUSINESS DAYS! That's more than a month so they can decide whether they want to give me a partial refund. Really? I will be filing a dispute with my card because this is ridiculous. I have to now go buy another pair since these are unusable and I refuse to give these people a dime when they won't even offer reasonable customer service.

The quality of their products is poor. The customer service is even worse! I sent them my prescription and I couldn't see out of the glasses. They won't refund me they will only give me store credit and I don't want anything from them! Same quality as Walmart glasses. Don't waste your money.

Before purchasing a pair, I asked the company if I could return anything if they wouldn't fit. They said yes, so I went ahead and purchased a pair for my 3 and a half year old, but it was too big. I called them and they said either I would have to get credit store or they would give me only 50% of my money back.

I have bought multiple pairs of Zenni glasses because I liked one particular titanium frame style. I now have 5 pairs of glasses that have all broken in the same place - the right side ear piece at the lens. I have tried to get them to repair or provide replacement and offered to pay for replacement arms. I have purchased their repair kits when told they would allow me to fix the arms. They did not. They don't seem to care and they are very inflexible to fix what must be a very repetitive need. I won't purchase from them again.

Had to return glasses cause did not fit good. Found out you only get back 50 percent return or 100 percent in house account. Most other companies return all money back with no questions asked. Live and learn.

Unless you are an optometrist and understand that "prism" has to do with correcting double vision, don't order progressives from Zenni. They are unable to accommodate that prescription. Unfortunately, you don't learn that until your glasses arrive and you still have double vision. Their solution? Return for 100% store credit (which means I can order more glasses that I wouldn't be able to see out of), or return for 50% refund on my credit card...which means I have to then go to another site and pay 100% for new glasses. Very unhappy customer.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle.
