I have purchased several pairs of glasses over the years from Zenni and have never been disappointed with my order unless it was something I did! Will continue to order from them!
The saying "You get what you pay for," seems to be applicable with Zenni.
The frames were flimsy and not the least expensive at $25.95. The price actually ended up being $131.00. While less expensive, the lens quality and accuracy, along with the cheap frames, made the purchase worthless. I found out the hard way that they will not refund the purchase price. The return policy is vague and tucked away on their website. They offer a Zenni credit, not a refund. I would rather pay more for quality glasses, than go through this company. If you want to save money, I would suggest a local discount company rather than Zenni. Many offer relatively inexpensive glasses and provide better quality and services.
I purchased a pair of goggles almost 2 years ago for the occasional bike ride I take (to help reduce tearing of the eyes from the wind). In less than a year I found the frames had completely cracked apart. Thinking maybe I had done something, I ordered a replacement pair. In less than a year, I discovered this pair had cracked in two places. I had taken pains to be super careful when using and storing this pair and still they have cracked apart like the first pair. I'm very unhappy that Zenni only guaranties their frames for 30 days - obviously they know that they are manufactured to not last much beyond that.

Not only were my glasses a great price but when I had a problem with the frame they replaced it free of charge even after the 30 day warranty period. I recommend them to everyone.
Just ordered Three pair of glasses from Zenni, 2 pair the exact frame but different colors. The green pair has very defected noes piece wires and I sent pictures. They offered to send me new frames which is fine. But it will cost me $10. To have the lenses switched. I am a senior and have been using Zenni for years, I asked for the $10 to pay for the switch. They declined. I am widowed, on a fixed income and all I asked was for them to make the mistake right. Darn the wires for nose pieces were not seated in the plastic frame. I sent pictures of the brown pair also, so they could see the problem. I am sad, very sad that they will not stand by there product and not have $$ out of pocket for their mistake.

These frames creak loudly, They look ok but they are noisy, as well ordered clip on sunglasses to go with them but they are too large and the clip does not center well at all. I suppose I shouldn't be to surprised however but I will never order from this company again.

I never ordered eyeglasses online before but because of COVID my optician was closed. The website is beautiful and easy to use. I ordered according to my Rx and added anti glare and transitions. The price was reasonable
However when the glasses arrived I had trouble seeing with them. They seemed too strong and I was getting headaches
When my local optician reopened, I took the glasses to him to see if they were correct. The strength was correct but the progressive began way too high so I was always using the magnification
I contacted them and was told that they use a standard height to begin the progression and I should have chosen a smaller lens and frame
His was I supposed to know that?
The only offer made to me was for 10% off to have them remade
I will ALWAYS have my glasses made in person going forward

The segment height on a pair of progressive lenses is the vertical measurement in millimeters from the bottom of the lenses to the beginning of the progressive addition (the reading area) of the lenses, and we can confirm that we currently we do not customize this measurement. However, the segment height varies from frame to frame and is dependent on the height of the lenses in the frame you choose. This means that if the segment height in your glasses is too low, you may achieve a more comfortable segment height by choosing a frame with a taller lens; conversely, if the segment height is too high, a frame with a shorter lens will produce a better segment height. Additionally, selecting a frame with adjustable nose pads is highly recommended because they offer more flexibility to adjust the glasses higher or lower on the bridge of the nose to get the segment height just where you need it.
Since the segment height on a pair of Zenni progressive lenses varies by lens height, if a customer reports having difficulty with the standard segment height, it is customary for us to advise the customer that they may return the glasses for store credit, which can be used toward the purchase of a different frame. The store credit is offered for the cost of the glasses, excluding the shipping fee, so we are disturbed to read that you were only offered 10% off. Furthermore, it is also customary for our representatives to advise that if you have had progressive lenses made elsewhere in the past, you may contact that establishment to inquire about the segment height that was used on your progressive lenses, and if you then provide us with that information, we can tell you the height of the lenses you should consider to achieve the same segment height. Many customers are successful in finding the right frame once they have this information. Zenni has changed everything! I cried so hard when I found out I had to wear glasses all the time and will get worse and worse. But now I love wearing glasses. I have bought so many it's crazy. I love being able to afford colored ones, or funky pattern I'd never have tried if paying $100 plus for them. I use my distance script which is worst problem and get pairs for $15-20 and can change daily. I don't add my bifocal because that's only a problem when reading and I have my other glasses for that. It's changed my attitude so much. I bought two pairs from another company that's similar and they are ok but I love love live Zenni.
Great prices. Okay frame selection, although they discontinue older styles, such as the one you're currently wearing and would like to replace; no such luck much of the time. Rx matching is excellent. Shipping times could be faster, but when it's a Chinese manufacturer, you're going to have to be patient. I wish the "try it on" feature was easier to use; I often have to poke around and click around 3 or 6 times before I get it to work.
Zenni optical has a great selection of frames for a great price. I absolutely love my two pairs I got they are sturdy and very stylish. They make buying glasses easier.

Zennioptical is a great site for affordable glasses. I've been using them for 6 years now. They are a great place to get glasses if you have kids who go through alot of pairs like mine lol. They have options for extras such as lens that are tinted and change in the sun, a range of types of quality of lens to chose from, you can get them inscribed for a very low price. (I always have them put my sons name on his glasses) They have a virtual try on so you can see how the glasses will look on you. To this day I recommend Zennioptical.com to all kinds of people.

I ordered my daughter a pair of glasses, and they took a very long time to arrive. They were great glasses, though. So when my glasses broke, I chose to use Zenni again. Big mistake. My account was locked because I "entered my information too many times". But I didn't know it was locked because the "error message" was just a blank orange bar. So I did the customer support chat. I was told to try again tomorrow. Fast forward two weeks. I try again today, same thing. I do the chat again. Told to remove my card info and reenter. This time got a loading screen for 10+ minutes. Chat. Told to try again. Loading screen. Chat. Told to try a different payment method, or an incognito browser. Did that, no dice. Called customer support. Told to remove my order and start over. By this time I was over it. Will go somewhere else.

Answer: I had no problem with returning my initial pair of glasses. I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Despite the period of adaptation needed, we are happy to report that we do not receive a disproportionate number of complaints about our progressive lenses. However, if glasses are returned to us for reasons other than a manufacturing error or defect, standard return options apply.
