I went to my regular optometrist and ordered glasses (very expensive). Because I wanted to keep the same frames to save on money, they said they would have to keep my glasses and they wouldn't be ready for 3 weeks. I was able to get sample daily contact lenses but only 5 and they did not have any more in stock (they would have to order more and didn't know how long that would take). How was I going to last 3 weeks without glasses? During covid so I wasn't driivng daily but still need to go to store and drive twice per week. My eyes aren't that bad but require glasses for driving to read signs at a distance. Decided to try Zenni Optical per advice from friend. Was a bit cautious but got 2 sets of glasses - one pair that was only for distance and one that were progressives like the ones ordered from the optometrist. Obviously they can't come overnight since they have to be made but they came rather quickly (about 2 weeks) which was sooner than I had expected. It was much easier experience than I had envisioned (no pun intended :). The progressives were 10x less expensive with frames than just the glasses I ordered from the optometrist. They even emailed me when they I had mistakenly put a different pupil distance for each of the glasses (guessed on one and measured the other). That saved me from wasting money. Excellent customer service! Would definitely order again and perhaps I will try the contact lenses next time around.

I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Despite the period of adaptation needed, we are happy to report that we do not receive a disproportionate number of complaints about our progressive lenses. However, we don't ever want to assume that needing time to adjust to the lenses is the only reason a customer could be having difficulty with their glasses; consequently, if you have recently purchased progressive lenses, and have problems seeing clearly through them, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-211-2105. Consequently, we apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a result. This order is within its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered. Therefore, you may return your eyeglasses to us for one of our two refund options – either a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni account or a 50 percent refund to the credit card you used to pay for them. If you select the store credit refund option, you may use the store credit toward the purchase of a new pair of eyeglasses that you prefer. When you telephone Zenni Customer Service, at 1-800-211-2105, please have a copy of the prescription you received from your eye doctor handy, because the customer service representative will ask you to read the prescription to them, so we can confirm that it was entered correctly. If the pupillary distance (PD) is not on the prescription, please be prepared to advise how it was obtained – self-measurement, friend or family member measurement, or eye doctor measurement.
