I booked and payed for 5 days hotel at Fernando de Noronha Island, in Brazil at Pousada das Flores, and when I got there with my 2 children, there was no reservation. I stayed at the airport, try to contact them, there's no phone number to talk with someone, by email only… it was getting dark and I needed to pay for other hotel for we stayed. No reservation, no money back. And, when you go to write a review, there's no choice, they give themselves 5 stars instars
Hope I can help for no more people be ripped by them.
After i booked, i went to hotel and found out there no booking. But the apps confirm my booking as a no show and still charged my credit card. The apps gave me a coupon that i could not reedem because went i wanted to use it the they said that it expired and after they fixed it i still could not uset it because the room always sold out.

I have booked, a week ago, a room in a hotel in Leros island in Greece. I received a confirmation for another hotel under the same name but IN ANOTHER ISLAND ( Kos Island).
I am trying more than a week now to resolve the problem and they always answer me with the same message by default ( we are working on it!)
I tried to call the hotel in Kos to cancel the wrong reservation but by my surprise the owner of the hotel told me that no booking was made for me, and moreover that he doesn't cooperate with Zen Hotels! He personally said that probably they are scams that they are after people's money! And this is true because I have already paid for a service I will never use!
STAY AWAY FROM ZEN HOTELS!

Nous avons fait une réservation et un payement qui ne sont jamais parvenus à l'hôtel. Au moment de partir, nous avons attendus plus de 3heures et avons eu 4interlocuteurs différents pour résoudre le problème (l'hôtel ne nous laissait pas partir évidemment car ils n'avaient aucune info sur notre résa ni paiement!)
Le problème n'est toujours pas résolu et j'ai donc paye deux fois, une fois sur internet a zenhotels et une fois à l'hôtel en direct pour partir... Incroyable et horrible!

After 10 days of informing them that they did not have a reservation at the hotel, ZENHOTELS has not been able to solve its own failure. I have been left without a vacation by waiting until the last minute for it to be fixed, since it was paid in advance. Not a bad word or a good deed. Their customer service is experts in listening to you (only if you speak English) without solving anything. They have neither asked me for forgiveness nor are they going to compensate me. I have only been able to get my money back thanks to American Express. I am studying to report them for mean, incompetent, misleading advertising, breach of contract or whatever the lawyer tells me. For now, I'm going to tell my case all over the web so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Its impossible to cancel from the website so dont pay them. And also when its impossible for you to come to the hotel because the country is on high risk they talk about penalty!
Dont go on this website, they dont respect theirs customers.

The hotels turned out to be disgusting, which is not ZH's fault. I canceled after just 1 night with both ZH and the hotel. The hotel apologized and said they refunded the balance back to ZH. ZH however has stalled stalled stalled and it is now a week later. Times up! 1 star. By the way their customer service line is in Cyprus, seems like a fly-by-night operation.

They made me book a hotel that did not exist! I spent the night outside as all the hotels in the area were fully booked!

I booked a room from Zenhotels throw trivago site. Check-in date is 29th/jul till 31st/jul on Le Meridien Dahab resort. I paid the full price and got the conformation at the same time which was great. After one week they sent me an email asking about my nationality. I replied to them and after 10 days of getting my conformation they said oh sorry. You put wrong nationality so you have to pay 75 usd per person per night. I told them no one asked about my nationality on the time of booking and they replied you made the booking through trivago and we assumed that you were American. As the hotel policy you have to pay 75 usd per person per night! Which is 300 USD total! I AM NOT GOING TO PAY ANY PENNY. It's the website responsibility not mine. I called them three times. Each time they put me on hold for 40-50 minutes and don't do any thing other than saying we will email you. I WILL CONTACT DUBAI CUSTOMER PROTECTING FOR THIS SCAM

Prepaid for my hotel in full. The hotel doesn't have a reservation for me and Zen is saying they will not refund. Zen is saying they have to confirm with hotel that I don't have a room. I have no where to stay and Zen won't refund me!

I have made a reservation through Zenhotel almost 2 months ago to a hotel accommodation in Pullman Hotel JLT DUBAI for 14 - 26 July 2021, and until this moment, I have received no confirmation to my reservation... What to do next?!

I was checking hotels on "Trivago" site. Average price for hotels in my destination about $300/ night. Zenhotels offered price $46/night. I was really surprised and of course booked my hotel with Zenhotels. Price was very low and suspicious, I decided to read reviews about Zenhotels, since I never heard about them before. The site has very low rating and people were noticed that this is not real site, they are scammers. I found some positive reviews as well and decided to be on positive side.
Week after my reservation I received e-mail from sales representative Igor, he wrote that my reservation was a mistake, offer full refund and $30 discount. I accepted this, mistakes happen some times.
After another week no cancellation been made and no promotional code for discount. I sent them an e- mail again. Received an answer from another representative Mina. She wasn't nice with communications. No apology, no thank you. Finally I received my refund, but less than I paid.
Really disappointed that such reliable site as a Trivago allowed Zenhotels place their advertisement.
NEVER AGAIN WILL deal with those people, who doesn't know what is customer service is.

RUN! THIS IS ANOTHER WELL-POLISHED RUSSIAN SCAM!
If you paid for your reservation with a credit card, then ask for a reimbursement. They will then go after ZenHotels themselves.
I've booked and paid in full for a supposedly non-refundable reservation at Le Petit manoir du Casino de Charlevoix (QC CA) but the hotel never received neither the reservation or the money! The hotel manager took upon herself to check on ZenHotels' identity with all the reservation platforms they do business with. Verdict: none of them new this platform; but this scam is so well organized that Trivago — normally trustworthy from my personal experience — references them. In spite of my experience (being 66 y. Old and having traveled a lot), I jumped on their incredible offer on Trivago without checking on them first and I fell right into the trap.
Magically, as soon as I asked MasterCard to reimburse me and take the matter into their own hands, somebody ‘…with a Slavic accent and a name impossible to pronounce' (said the hotel manager) called her SUPPOSEDLY to finalize the reservation but having demanded a certified check, the person never called her back…
ZenHotel is magical: a hatfull of tricks designed to make your hard-earned money disappear into their pocket!
Tell your national police about ZenHotels: it's another way Russia invented to try and destabilize Western economies while making tons of cash.
I tell you once again: take my advice and RUN!

For my friends who traveling, I want to warn you from that company, I was made reservation in April, and they sent me confirmation about my reservation, I ordered flight ticket, and everything was fine till now. Some days ago, two weeks before my flight, the company ZenHotels talked with me and they said that the hotel didn't confirm my reservation, and I need to cancel it from my side. I was explaining over the phone to one of the employer's, answer the name: Ksenia Demchenko, that my air company will not cancel my flight ticket, now to find another hotel it's will cost me much more money, I also explained that I'm traveling a lot and I know how is the rules in another websites like Booking.com Hotels.com agoda trivago etc. I was giving them also green light to move me to another hotel just to get the same conditions I have. She said I will call you back, but always avoided communicating with me. I got contact with the hotel and then I found out that it's not the hotel the problem. The hotel never got the reservation, the company never confirmed it from her side. And not as Ksenia Demchenko from ZenHotels said, that the hotel was the responsible for my cancellation. They manipulating the clients and make them take the responsibility with money that they will lose in this act. What makes everything so bad is that when I'm trying to contact their costumer service, they avoid me, don't want give me answers, don't want pass me to a manager. Guys I would definitely recommend you to AVOID MAKE RESERVATIONS THERE, you don't want find yourself in the same problem. Years of traveling and I never got to this situation never in my life. First and last experience for me in this website ( app).

I have a hotel room booked and fully paid for with a confirmation and booking number. I have emailed and called Zen Hotels. I spoke with Zen's representative who was very courteous and helpful. I was told that they will reach out to the hotel and fix this matter. As per the hotel my reservation was cancelled without any notice to me. I am currently waiting to hear back via phone or email. It is May 22. I am supposed to check into The Fairmont San Juan on May 28.
If Zen Hotels fixes my room problem I will definitely be increasing my Star review. I will post an update with how my problem was resolved. So everyone will know what to expect from this company.
The Zen Hotel representative told me with confidence that this problem would be resolved and I will be placed at the property I booked at (with 7 other families). I explained I have non refundable airline tickets and pre paid excursions and dinners. ZH representative assured me that the company will "make this right". I have faith in him and Zen Hotels and that they will fix this.
As I said... I will amend this review so everyone will know the resolution.
Please cross your fingers and say a prayer
UPDATE: It is 9:30 on 5/26. My flight is scheduled for 5/28 6:00am. I still have had no resolution from Zen Hotels. The service representative are nice but they have not fixed the problem. I still have all of my non-refundable flights, excursions and dinners but NO PLACE TO STAY. I have found out that they book through BIG POINT and are under the umbrella of EMERGING TRAVEL GROUP.
I will post another follow up...

I paid for a "2 bedroom condo" which showed 2 different bathrooms 2 different bed rooms a full kitchen dining and livong space but when i got to the hotel they say i only bought a "double studio" which there is no such thing as a double studio so i wasted 500+$ because they scammed me out of my room i will bever use this trash $#*! site ever again
