I was supposed to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon this week, unfortunately due to coronavirus that is not a possibility I messaged zen hotels more then 60 days ago to try and cancel or rearrange my trip and they keep saying it will take two weeks and then when I message them again they say the same things this website is an absolute scam disgusting to steal money from people
Zenhotels are scammers, I cancel my refundable booking with them on the 26th March an still have not received my refund, they won't provide any reference number and keep trying to get me off the phone.
They are making up excuses and saying because of COVID19 it takes longer for the bank to proceed the transaction. I have checked with my bank and they are fully operational and just Zenhotels did not process refund.
If you are looking for a hassle free booking just avoid them.

Total rip-off company. I had the same experience as many other users.
I had to cancel bookings due to Covid 19. Zen promised a refund in "3 to 30 days", but nothing was ever refunded despite multiple follow-ups.
I claimed from my CC provider under Section 75 and Zen then tried to claim that I was entitled to a refund at all.
They seem to be a Russian company with a front in Cyprus where the financial rules are, shall we say, "loose".
They are totally untrustworthy - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I cancelled my reservation on 16/03/20, I was informed it will take 3-30 days max. I still didn't get my refund! I contacted support so many times... DO NOT BOOK THROUGH FRAUDULENT ZENHOTELS.COM Stealing is a crime! I want my money back!

If zero stars was an option, I would give them zero stars. Their customer support is useless, non-responsive and clearly a third-party in Russia or somewhere in eastern Europe. We purchased a nice vacation stay at Ventana Big Sur on 3/15/2020 through Zenhotels and called the hotel on 5/24/2020 to confirm our reservation. The hotel told us that they sent out email and phone correspondence to ZenHotels to let them know that the hotel was closing due to COVID-19 on 3/29/2020. We received NO CORRESPONDENCE whatsoever from ZenHotels informing us that our vacation was cancelled. They did not refund us and we have been going back and forth with their customer support for over a week to get a refund for a hotel that they already received a refund from. They have been an absolute nightmare to deal with and their automated phone service and customer support team is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend avoiding purchasing anything from them!
Cancelled my reservation due to COVID March 17th and still have not received a refund. I have called over 10 times and I get the same response. They say, we contacted the Hard Rock and awaiting approval of your refund. BUT WHEN I call the Hard Rock they say it is approved. So why no refund? They also send me emails saying my issue is escalated but still no refund. I just want my money back. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH FRAUDULENT ZENHOTELS.COM. CHECK THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BOOK. I BOOKED THROUGH A DIFFERENT APP. AND ONLY AFTER I PAID was I notified they were affiliated with the useless Zenhotels.com.
How ironic is their name. LOL! This service is 100% not ZEN.

Un día antes de entrar en el apart reservado a través de ellos me dicen que hay un overbooking y el alojamiento que me sugieren a cambio no se equiparaba en lo mas mínimo con lo que yo había reservado (mas alejado, sin estacionamiento, sin las mismas comodidades y por si fuera poco mas caro y nada decían de quien se hacía cargo de la diferencia).
Luego de muchos correos de idas y venidas (me ofrecían ridículos puntos de un programa al cual no estoy inscripto), me dijeron que buscara un lugar por mi cuenta porque ellos solo tenían el que me habían ofrecido (o sea, no querían perder el tiempo conmigo) y que me devolverían lo que haya costado hasta primero dijeron 20% y luego (porque es la política escrita por ellos mismos) hasta el 50% solo lo ya pagado.
Cuando me hospedé (hace un mes) en el lugar alternativo que encontré y fue 30% mas caro que lo pagado, les pasé las facturas de lo que había pagado. Otra vez a discutir de nuevo (porque te cambiar de representante que lleva tu caso) para que me devuelvan el dinero. Bueno, solo me devolvieron los 160 que les pagué a ellos (y por los que solo recibí problemas de su parte), pero ni un centavo de lo que prometieron. Impresentables, vuelteros, y mentirosos. Cuídense de ellos.

Terrible service booked a hotel in Boston for April 25 the show I was attend was canceled for obvious reasons with corona and also travel bands within the state of Massachusetts and other states almost 2 weeks now since I called them they keep passing the buck over cancellation. Stating they do not deal directly with hotels what does that mean. They stated there working with there providers to see if we can get a cancellation with no fees Literally me not working with a hotel in two seconds I can pull it up on their website where it says all fees will be waived at the hotel through May 30 2020 If you want someone to take advantage of you take your money during one of the most challenging time in the world and not fulfill the service then Zen is the place.
Warning! DO NOT BOOK WITH ZenHotels... they will NOT give you money back when there's a pandemic with Coronavirus during this time, and even the hotel I booked with ok'd the refund!@zenhotels you suck! Will not book with you, again, when this clears up!

Guys, PLEASE! I strongly advise to send emails to all your non refundable clients and explain the situation with covid! And please put this information on your websites! This is ridiculous! Your customer service doesn't have time to answer all the questions. I don't blame them but why do you guys can't even think and make life easier for us? If I knew that I need to cancel my non refundable booking and than just wait for the news about refund, I would do that immediatly rather than to try to call you during the day!

SCAM, avoid unless you like being stranded and out of pocket. I wouldn't be surprised if the positive reviews on here are fake.
I booked a hotel through this "business", turned up to check in and was told that zenhotels had sold my booking to another company just days before the check in date (when I booked weeks in advance), not passing on my contact details. The second company then tried to make the reservation but there was no longer any room in the hotel. However as they didn't hate my contact details they couldn't even tell me! So I turned up to find that I was stranded, in London, late at night and as a young woman. Zenhotels was absolutely awful dealing with arranging alternative accommodation, hours later I decided to give up on them and book somewhere else. The only place with room was charging £150. I didn't even ask for this to be reimbursed, just a refund of my original booking and STILL haven't been refunded from 26TH NOVEMBER. They have also ignored my emails. I will be taking this to court and asking for a full reimbursement of the £150 if they do not refund my booking. DO NOT USE ZEN HOTELS.
Zen somehow usually passes along the best prices on hotels (from the buyers' point of view).
I booked a room in Singapore and receive confirmation from zenhotels "double size bed with child bed", i contact the hotel to confirm my reservation and they inform me that the reservation is made for "queen size bed" only.
After that i contact with Zenhotels to resolve this issue and spend days without any update or progress.
They never contact me and give updates, i have to contact them daily to get updates which was "we have requested urgent update for you" without real action.
I strongly advise to avoid reservation from Zenhotels. Pay little more but deal with professional service provider to avoid sticking in a bad situation like me.

Your hotel room will not be confirmed or it will say sold out after you've entered your credit card information. STAY AWAY! I'm worried about my Credit Card info. Will be reviewing my purchases closely / changing my card soon.
Checked out reviews on several sites... seems like a lot of fake reviews including on this site (I see the same reviews on multiple sites). Doubt people would go out of their way that much to say something good... very suspicious.

Please, be advised that all card information is provided to a hotel via the secured protocol. It helps to protect your bank card. So, it is absolutely safe to book a hotel using a bank card.

Was charged initially for a higher price at the time of booking and then again charged a lesser amount a few days after my booking. I called the hotel and they have no history of my stay. Very weird. Very sketchy. Not worth the supposedly "cheaper" prices. Use booking.com or any of the other more legitimate sites.

I booked a room with Amoma (an old competitor) for a hotel in Vienne. I received an email from Amoma announcing his cease trading notification, I lost my money and my booking because the hotel was full booked. The problem was my friend who booked the same hotel but with Zen Hotels with terms: no refundable booking. She explained the situation to Zen Hotels and asked for a cancellation without fees because we'll travel together and it's not possible to be separated... They accepted the cancellation without fees, a exceptionnal gesture! Thank you for your profesionnalism and for your humanism
Special thanks I want to say support. Who literally saved my vacation. Helped to return the money that hung when paying for the hotel. It was the only time and it never happened again. Caliper coped with the decision of this situation on 5. I have complete confidence in my trip.
SCAM - I had a fully confirmed booking in New York. On the day of arrival they send me an e-mail the hotel was full and would provide me an alternative. I waited for 6 (!) hours and never heard anything. At 23:00 I booked a new hotel myself. They never provided me with anything.
The service is HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE this service.
