First time ordering from them and I love my item. Plus my item arrived 3 days early. Had no issues even had to make a couple changes without an issue.
Zazzle did refund me after I chewed them out. But before they did that they told me they couldn't do a refund for a charge under X dollars. They said all they do was a credit toward future purchases. Really? I did not believe that for a minute. I pushed the matter and got my refund, magically. Of course, they had to make it sound like they were doing me a favor. Spare me.
So if this happens to you, stick to your guns and get your money back! It's not right that they trick people into signing up for an auto-renew membership.
I made the mistake of taking the dangled bait of free shipping on an order, and inadvertently and unknowingly signed up (says Zazzle) for "Zazzle Black" membership. On auto-renew no less. Found out about this only when the charge went through on my payment service... a year later! Zazzle will not reverse the charge, which is pretty shocking. I do not recommend this business for anything!
I have no idea what has happened to The Zazzle website, but the programming needs some tweaking. I have ordered custom postcards from Zazzle many times over the years. Up until my last attempt to design cards, it has always easy to enter and orient the text on the image side of the postcard. I could get the thing done in less than 10 minutes, and the quality of the product was fair (not exceptional, but okay) for the price. Today, though, I spent 30 minutes trying to get their system to accept my simple text design. Every time I used the grid lines to orient and center my text block, the system went wonky. My text repeatedly blew up (the font increasing on its own accord), and the grid would not accept my attempts at changing the orientation. Even when I shrank the font to mice type, it still confused the programming and the lines ran to the sides of the automatic margins. When I tried to backtrack or undo, my text block repeatedly disappeared and had to be entered again. I gave up and will find a new printer for my cards.
Over the years I have ordered many things from Zazzle. The postcards were the only things I ever ordered twice. Their printing quality of the posters and pillows I've ordered has been variable, and mostly very poor. They have refunded me on a few things that were unacceptable, so I'd say their customer service is okay. But their quality standards are not reliable. They enlarge images beyond reasonable resolution quality, and their fabric inks (on printed pillows) are so low-saturation that the images look faded.
It appears that zazzle likes to send tracking numbers for items purchased, but the item never gets picked up? Super upset as they have given me 2 tracking numbers, but yet they say neither were picked up by carrier. I call BS. Please don't bother writing back zazzle with the SAME nonsense you give to everyone else on this page, I don't want to hear it, and it's just going to make me more mad.

The customization of the plates/napkins was beautiful however, the plates themselves were of cheap quality. Had to purchase plastic chargers to place them on. For the price (over $2 per plate) expected more.

I am happy with the finished product, I only spent about 1/2 hour designing the mugs for a plastic model club that I host. The colors are very vibrant.
I ordered a mat that in its photo looked black and white. Upon receipt it had some digital multi color unseen in the image. When I asked for a replacement or return they stated they didn't want they door mat back and only offered a 15% coupon.
This place is a joke!

I purchased six (6) printed napkins and I have been trying to return them. They do not answer emails... and they do not answer their phone. I just filed a complaint with the BBB. I will not ALLOW this sorry excuse for a company to rip me off. I will pursue...
In the meantime, I will sully their reputation. Although... they appear to be doing a really good job themselves based on the reviews I have been reading on sitejabber.

Update... was very dissatisfied with product received so I emailed zazzle. Received response same day and submitted a photo of product I purchased. They offered me a credit to their site or a complete refund. I chose refund and was very happy with their response, sadly wished their product had arrived perfect.
I placed an order for 2 polo shirts with pictures printed as a gift for Father's Day for the kids to give their grandfathers. I received one today and am so disappointed. Shirt appears to be of good quality, however, the pictures printed are horrible. Can barely see the kids faces. Wish I never ordered from this place. Now have to order something else because it's embarassing to give this as a gift.
I made a purchase in May 2018 and didn't realize but signed up for an annual membership of $9.95. Noticed the two charges, one in June 2018 and recently again in June 2019, and called. They refunded the current charged (as a curtesy), as it has is still processing, but would not refund me the previous charge. No refund policy. Told me to call my bank.
I have had some good results from Zazzle, however, when things went bad, they went VERY bad. I ordered bags to give as gift bags for an event, paid extra for expedited shipping, had been in touch with customer service for almost 2 weeks and the estimated arrival date came and went with the product never even being made. The event also came and went. Customer service agents were all deceivingly helpful, they each said they would be "reaching out to production" and would "follow up" with me, but nothing ever came of it. They apparently have no interaction with manufacturers, who can apparently do as they please. If you use Zazzle, do NOT rely on the dates they provide and give yourself at least a 3 week window, even with 1-2 day shipping.

Well sometime ago I bought pocket watch describe Japanese movement, after sometime not using the watch stop working, when I open the device I saw battery inside so that totally fake also inside made by all cheap plastics, don't wasting your money and buy things from this guys.

I ordered some cards for a family event four years ago. Yesterday I received a notice about auto renewal. I was not aware of this and this was the first notice that I received about auto renewal ($9.95 per year). They would not refund my money. If I did not see the fourth year notice, they could have kept taking my money for decades and I might not have noticed it.

I settled for Zazzle because their print machine can print text in different languages. I ordered a shirt that they claimed to be "MADE IN USA". When I received it, it said it was made in HONDURAS! They refunded my money and let me keep the shirt, but after I washed it once in COLD WATER, the color became faded and spotty! The shirt looks like a faded mess now! I'm upset because I liked the design. DO NOT BUY THEIR SHIRTS! THEY"RE TRASH!

I really love how my customized order looks! Unfortunately it took over two weeks to receive my order and only with me calling several times. Once for them to put in a Replacement Request for my original order and another to find out if it had actually been shipped yet. Hold times were both 15 minutes.

I have been ordering from Zazzle for two years now. I have bought mugs, a watch, a mouse pad and a backpack. They all arrived exactly how I designed them and in a timely manner. The quality of everything I ordered was exceptional. I use Zazzle Black and only order when items are half-price. I am very happy with Zazzle.

Answer: I would suggest emailing also. I've never had to wait at all via phone; yet, since you have, try email. Don't despair. They WILL help you.
Answer: Usually they take about a week, BUT on my recent (11/29) Christmas card order, they've taken two weeks now and zero so far! Not good. I need to get these cards out very soon. Also, they don't bother to make customers service open on weekends (just for the Christmas rush). I get the feeling they are pretty unreliable, inflexible, etc. Not good.
Answer: Zazzle is a Print on Demand company. All designs are printed when ordered. You would want to make your customization's to the product, then add it to your cart to place your order.

Answer: You probably will get the most accurate answer by calling Zazzle. I use Zazzle Black, and everything I've ordered (I think I have a 30 page Order History) has always arrived promptly; however, keep in mind that it has to be made before it can ship, so I believe I get a general arrival date - not a guarantee. Again though, it has always been prompt and on the mark as far as the tracking date.
