The absolute worst. Scamming, dishonest, crooked con artist. So-called mechanics (Collins T, Stacy P, Walderious, Christopher) all of Atlanta are constantly cancelling on you and are doing poor, sloppy incomplete, work and or are no-shows for appointments. They get with the "temporary" auto repair, meaning they get your car up and running or whatever the case may be, for the time being and then a week later, your car breaks down and you've discovered they've done a poor or in my case incomplete job, failing to reinstall major parts off and causing the car to dysfunction. Called in to their customer service to get them change the correct repair order, I had mistakenly booked services for the wrong service and could not change it on my end. So, hence I called at spoke to a rep/con artist/liar, who after placing me hold several times for long periods of time has the audacity to quote me a price that was double than what their own site quoted me for the repair work. Are you serious? He quotes me this price when I'm sitting right there on the site and the quote on the site never changes from its original quote. The nerve of this guy to try and take me for a fool (I guess because I am a woman) and be so deceptive and dishonest. This in addition to their incompetent, unprofessional mechanics constantly cancelling and being no-shows for appointments. My advice is to take heed to the "honest" 1-star reviews and save yourself the hell of dealing with these crooked cons.

Company and cancelation
December 31, 2023

This Company canceled 2 appointments. The owner was very arrogant. Didn't show any concerns about his mechanics canceled. I will never request anyone to use these people. I think the management needs to be observed to see we're there work areas are in the Company. I really would consider Blogger this Company.

The work was for replacement of serpentine belt and pulley inspection. Invoice was changed AFTER discovering pulley and not having the part after inspect.Offered to purchase & go get the part at auto zone 1.9 miles away but was told he didn't have time. Original work scheduled 12/9 cancelled less than one hour prior due to "weather" causing me to miss work.
Arrived late on 12/10, laughed at my misfortune bc I didn't realize pulley was damaged and asked for inspection. Charged 165 for nothing. That is how much I spend for a week of groceries. Not even a possible discount for follow up service to repair. Manager rude and placed the blame on me as the consumer because I ordered an inspection of pulley and actually needed a replacement. I'm not a mechanic and unable to tell everything that needs to be done. This is why I CALLED A MECHANIC! Do not use these people or Corey. I will be posting this on all forums.

I've used them twice
December 15, 2023

Very good results for the two times I used them. I only use them for uncomplicated repairs. Some things should be done by the dealer.

Waste of time and money. Absolutly zero help!
December 2, 2023

Scheduled an appointment no prob that is after it was rescheduled by the tech minutes before the first showing.
So he shows up takes one look at the car and says he cant work on it because i have a few cosmetic things taken off. Gives no trouble shooting advise of any kind and leaves but mentions that it will just be "like 20.00 cancellation fee" because he couldnt do anything. Instead i get a late cancellation 150.00 charge for a future credit that i will NEVER use! Customer service over the phone was awful. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this service. Go to a trusted garage instead

DO NOT USE YOUR MECHANIC
November 22, 2023

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Mechanic came to my home and refused to drive my car saying he knew exactly what the issue was without even looking at my brakes. Claimed I did not have pads. I got them replaced by Nu Brake 3 times. They are charging me $150 anyway. Customer service is very unprofessional--Manuel (#7767). I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Secretary of State of Georgia. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I can't say that enough!

I had a mechanic come out and change my serpentine belt, before he put the belt on he said I need to check the pulleys, after doing that he said they are good and put my belt on, everything was fine, paperwork says he also does a 50 point inspection as well. 2 days later I started to hear a noise coming under the hood, when I checked it was coming from the area where my pulleys were, so I shut the car off and noticed the belt was shifted about 1/4in. So I called and told customer service this, and they told me the soonest they could send a mechanic would be 6 days, yes u read that right 6 days to come check supposed warrantied work (and this is after talking to a supervisor), and they had to put a hold on my credit card $154, and if the issue wasn't my belt I would be charged for them coming out. Now of course it's probably not the belt itself, whatever the problem is the original mechanic should diagnosed it, now I have to pay another $154 for them to check it, oh ya 6days from now. Lol. I cut my losses and will bring my car to a mechanic that will warranty and check there work for FREE. This is a strong warning to stay away.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! Unless you want to waste all of your time waiting on a tech. Good in theory bad in practice. Waited in an empty parking lot for over 45 minutes past the time I scheduled for my appointment. What a joke.

If I could give this site/place 0 stars, I would! They are an absolute sham...Horrible service! Took my money without doing any of what they said they would do before the appointment. Then, they refused to give me my money back and, when I tried to submit a charge dispute to my CC company, they fought my dispute and won! They should be ashamed of themselves! Don't pay them a dime! Don't make an appointment! Find someone else! PLEASE! Don't do it!

The major issue with using an on line mobile mechanic like Your Mechanic, is YOU have to diagnose your cars issue yourself. If you get it wrong, like I just experienced, the hidden fees and lack of effective communication from their California based customer service, is pathetic. First that told me they would charge me a small service fee since no work was done on my car. I self diagnosed in in correctly as a starter issue but ended up being the battery and alternator despite me jumping and charging the batter that did not get the car started, hence, why I though it was a starter issue.
They then charged my credit card for the FULL amount, instead of just a diagnosis service fee visit and now, despite telling me they will refund the balance minus a small $69 service fee, they now say they are keeping the balance as a credit on my account. Your Mechanic, also goes my the name Wrench, is as dishonest a group as you will find on line. The mechanic who came out and spent 20 seconds, that's right 20 second, putting a battery tester to the battery said, your battery has a bad cell. He was great and quick. Then the problems started with their corporate office in California who I have now filed a formal complaint to the Texas Attorney Generals Office and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for their misleading and fraudulent behavior. THERE ARE LOTS OF GOOD Mobile mechanics who are honest...DON'T USE THESE GUYS unless you have time to deal with trying to get your money back from them and their deceptive business practices.

I was scheduled for service on a Tuesday with a bill totaling $404. Once the mechanic came and reviewed the vehicle, I was told I would need to reschedule so the appropriate parts could be ordered and my expected bill went up to OVER $700. The bulk of this was added to labor time which goes against their fair price commitment outlined on the website.

We rescheduled for 10/6 at 12pm. At 12:03pm, I received a call stating the correct parts were still needed and I would need to reschedule yet again. Totally unacceptable the day of my appointment. As a consumer, I would have been charged $150 each time I canceled on the day of.

They have now cancelled on me the day of my appointment twice in one week. Gone up on my bill on labor time from the original fair price guarantee and left me in a position to where I have taken off work (wasted PTO) and will need to get a rental car for the weekend last minute due to being notified the day of my appointment at noon that you still do not have the parts.

More than anything, I am truly disappointed in the price increase after reading their website this morning as well as the last minute communication as I could have spent last night or the early part of my morning looking for a rental car. Now I must rush to fix this error before my trip.

The supervisor showed no remorse regarding these issues and simply cancelled the appointment all together after voicing my concerns.

Do waste your time or money with this unprofessional company. It's not worth it.

Charged almost 400 dollars and never showed up! Had the nerve to send me a request to make a third appointment! My daughter is a Detective and is investigating this company and the so called Henry the mechanic that they swear has 12 years experience! They should be ashamed of themselves talking money from a poor disabled senior! I have demanded all my money right back on the Bank card! By tomorrow morning or my daughter is coming back from West Palm Beach to take me to file criminal charges of fraud and also a civil tort against this company, they said they are reviewing my request but I don't expect anything as they have shown they are criminals

Absolutely Terrible
September 14, 2023

YourMechanic knowingly gave us a faulty part and placed it in our vehicle. The process to get our money back or any complimentary fixes has been impossible since they immediately operate on a lack of trust. The customer is guilty first - even if you're right. Do NOT go here, it's absolute garbage.

After waiting 4 days I received a text message less than one hour before the actual appointment. They didn't even give me a courtesy call just a text saying they are so sorry your mechanic can't make it. Would never recommend this company.
