I had wheel bearings replaced while at work, 18 miles from my home, and within a day they were shot. I could not drive the car. I called and they said my house was outside of their service area. They refused to send anyone out, said they would not reimburse me to tow it to a service area, and told me I could tow it to a DIFFERENT mechanic and IF that mechanic would provide a written diagnosis and IF that mechanic was in their service area, they would replace the part but I would incur costs on the other mechanic's diagnosis. Won't be using their service that I already paid for again. This company is abysmal.

Every day i received an email that the appointment was coming up, even at 3 am the morning before. Couldn't drive the car because it was a brake job. Then morning of, the mechanic cancels. Wow cool...at least the co didn't charge me a $50. Cancellation fee but meantime this meant starting all over again, finding a mechanic etc. Im beginning to thing this mobile stuff is bunk. Two stars because at least someone always answered the phone. Good idea but good mechanics are going to blow out of it and get hired elsewhere.

Terrible experience

This company has now wasted 2 weeks of my time. I schedule my first appointment a week ahead with very detailed description of my issues. First mechanic told me I needed to reschedule due to not having proper tools less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment. When I called to "reschedule" I told them I'd only reschedule if they were going to send a mechanic who had proper tools. I rescheduled yet again a week in advance to now having a different mechanic tell me to reschedule less than 24 hour notice. I would never recommend this company.

Lied to me

They said that it was my spark plug my spark plug tube seals and my valve cover gaskets and try to charge me $1,400 for it I took it to a mechanic they looked it over and it's my fuel injector and ignition coil

Completely Unreliable, Waste of Time!

Booked an appointment and got cancelled three times. I instructed them that I have the parts for them to do the repairs only for them to cancel due to not having the parts. The guy tells me he's going to call me back about getting the mechanic to re-route to come back to fix my car and of course he doesn't call back. Just a complete waste of my time that is very valuable to me. Oh and the refund takes 7-10 business days. Why so long to refund a person back their money?! Stay away from this company!

A mobile mechanic can fix a few things in the driveway, but generally, most repairs will need a shop setting. YourMechanic should both spell this out on their site and during signup, or should allow for more communication. The site was clunky and only let me put in 'transmission leak' which they knew in advance wasn't a fixable problem in a driveway. I pre-paid $135, rearranged my schedule, met for about two minutes with the mechanic who told me to take it to a dealership. $135 down the drain. I feel stupid :(

Rip Off

Their Mechanic provided an incorrect diagnosis that my water pump was cracked. I paid for the inspection and repair and found out the diagnosis was wrong because my vehicle leaked coolant after 2 days. I was charged for another inspection which found the problem. We found out after the 2nd parts replacement that the first part replacement (water pump) wasn't necessary. I called customer service and complained of the unnecessary charges and was told a Manager will call me back in 48 hrs for a resolution. I got a return call only to tell me they will review and get back. No return call after I called for a status. I'm forced to dispute charges through my bank. If this company corrected the mistake with me, I would call them again and recommend their service. After going through this experience, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I also found some BBB complaints that's not resolved.

Terribile Experience

We just had a value cover gasket installed as this was recommended by the shop we normally used. But, we picked Your Mechanic as it was $150 less expensive. Well, in this case to pay for what you get. The repair was for my daughters car that she needs to get to school. Anyway, when I got home, I test drove it and now the engine was running extremely rough to the point I decided to take it back to where I normally get my work done. When I arrived I noticed the car was steaming. Besides the car running rough, I now noticed the top of the radiator was leaking fluid. The shop I took the car now stated that the value of the car would not be worth the repairs. When I reached out to Your Mechanic for refund. They stated they would send someone out but if they did not agree that I would have to pay for their time. I told them forget it as I did not trust them for a true valuation. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NOR WOULD I EVER USE YOUR MECHANIC AGAIN!.

Terrible

A time was set for Justin to come and install a battery and brakes, I took a day off work then waited and waited and waited for Justin to come, then got a text to say the mechanic will not be coming and to reschedule. I really could not wait and was looking for a garage to fix the car, in the the meantime the company called me to set another appointment for the next day they promised me he would be here, so another day off work, then I waited and waited yet again, I then called the company and they told me Justine was not answering his phone and to reschedule for next week. I read reviews after that and noticed just one site had good comments, but this is most likely the company reviews. Do not waist your time. It looks good on paper but just terrible experience in person.

I Needed My Radiator Replaced
March 20, 2023

My car needed a radiator replaced, I set the appointment on Friday 3/17 with James. I gave them my card info, and was informed I had within 48 hours of the appointment to cancel my appointment or they would charge $50 for the cancellation and 25 for a reschedule. They were set to come out Monday 3/20 at 10:00 AM.
Monday morning I got a text at 9:42,20 minutes before the appointment, telling me that he would not be able to come to the appointment due to weather. The link online gave me the closest reschedule date for Friday the 24th.
When they called their mechanic, he wasn't answering the phone for inquiries about availability. They suggested I call back tomorrow to see if they had any appointments and told me they wouldn't be charging me for the cancellation, as if that was a favor.
I got a call back about 20 minutes later to get another appointment set up, they also offered to take $50 off of the service price. Unfortunately this doesn't cover the $150 it's going to now cost me to get to and from work. Ultimately I decided what I'd lose with the unplanned two days I'd be without a car isn't worth the $50 I got off of the price. I'll just find someone that will do the job as scheduled.
I do not trust this business to be reliable in their appointments. The failure to fulfil their end of the deal is causing some real difficulties as it pertains to getting to and from work as well as my familial obligations. Would not spend money with this company again.

I had a power steering pump go out YM replaced with out flushing system the pump froze up after 3 months and almost caused my son to have accident. I contacted to get reimbursed for what I paid them and was denied. AVOID

Don't waste your time

First appointment canceled by mechanic for personal emergency. Rescheduled, got a text 45 minutes late, unable to keep appointment. Asked to reschedule for the following week. Total waste of time.

Not happy with service

I made two different appointments with your mechanic company why is that you ask. Well on my first appointment I was given a appointment time of 1:30 only to find out the mechanic was overbooked so mechanic didn't show up till 5 hrs later he did 40 minutes of work before he realized a part that he needed to go to the part store close to 7 pm. Mechanic doesn't return I was told by text that he might have to come back tomorrow or Saturday. I tried my luck again because everyone has a rough day. My next appointment the mechanic did not show and requested a reschedule 10 minutes before appointment.My time is important to me. I hate having it wasted thinking I'm getting a service only for the mechanic not to be ready.

I originally booked the service for a crankshaft position sensor replacement on my 06 bmw 330I. This was on a sunday. Mechanic was on time and got to work right away. About 4 hours later he informed me that he broke two hoses. I am in the car business and understand that hoses are a wear item, so I paid for the new hoses. We couldnt get parts that day, but $250 and the parts were there the next day. Come monday, I am at work and the mechanic shows up to get the work done. After about 7 hours I get a text saying the intake manifold broke and has a rattle and also that he couldn't get my air boot back on and had locked my keys in the car. The mechanic left my car in pieces, broke it more than it was originally, and locked my keys in the car. I got home and luckily had a spare key so I went to look for the one he locked in there, turns out he went home with my keys. Didn't get them until two days later. Today is coming up on two weeks after my initial appointment. All in all I have pad $700 for them to break my car more, leave it in pieces, and lose my keys for a few days. I escalated my case and was told that the two issues arent related so they arent going to do anything about it, even though I sent them text messages from the mechanic of him saying that he broke the intake manifold when he took it off. Terrible company. Youre honestly better off watching youtube and trying to fix it yourself. It will save you money if the outcome you want is a broken car.

Had Robert replace a serpentine belt and all was good. Received quote for power steering hose replacement. Booked job. WhenRibert was done with the hose I was left with check engine light on. Robert tried to convince me he told me about this on his 1st visit. LIES. And the company confirmed no documentation. Waiting for the company to make it right. But instead they decide to charge me for a master tech to come out and say yes something was off and I shouldn't be charge a fee for his inspection. Strangely the company charged my account $153 to tell me that I was correct that I had no code before Roberts visit. BUYER BEWARE!

Stay far away. Scheduled to find out why truck isn't starting. Chris was mechanic. Canceled cause a family emergency. Reschedule, canceled cause he said it's raining, but the car is covered. Then said he can't come cause his work truck isn't where he can get it? What?!? Rescheduled with different mechanic for today. 30 minutes before appointment he canceled for who know what reason. They charge people who cancel but apparently all they do is cancel. How can any company be so unprofessional? How do they even have a business when they never show to do their job? Time is money and we were canceled on 3 times. Don't we deserve something for being kicked aside? Never will I try to do business with them again. And I will tell everyone NOT to use them!

This company is a joke
This company is a joke. Do not use them. First, my appointment was at 8:00am and the mechanic (Ronald) showed up at 8:47. I paid them $910 to come and replace my knock sensors, because I had error code P0325. I drove my car less than a 1/4 of a mile, then I had the original code P0325 come back, in addition to P0330 (both are knock sensor codes). I called them back, less than a 1/2 hour later to be told that I have to pay another $171, for them to access the warranty claim and say that it was the wiring. I took my car to the Lexus dealership and they confirmed that the knock sensor replacement was not done correctly, in addition, the mechanic damaged my coolant system. Even after the Lexus dealership replaced the knock sensors and my check engine light is off, the still say they have no liability and refuse to refund my money. So, I paid them $1,081 to make my car worse. They use any mechanic (Ronald) that's willing to sign up with them and have no idea of what they're doing. They are totally unethical and do not know what they're doing. Tru
