Though I like the products, I was driven to seek another representative because of the extremely combative and unprofessional representative that I am dealing with right now. Her views are completely crazy and ignorant and if you should challenge her she lashes back with harsh comments defending her unbelievable views. She is a narcissist and very difficult to deal with! #dontbealindsay
When these sales people state that the cleaning products are not banned over the world like Lysol and Clorox. They say they are organic and natural. Well I want them to take a spoonful of arsenic please. That is natural and organic too. Let's see the result.

For my October 3,2019 ER, I received 2 EO that were dated a year ago when I emailed YL for harvest/ production date.
Having going back and forth with YL taking 2-3 business days to reply every time, it's been a month now since I received the order.
When I ask for replacement of those 2 EO (and request them to waive the restocking fee and shipping), YL CS replied that they can do a one time waive on the 25% restocking fee (since it's more than 1 month from order and I have opened the 2 oils) but I have to ship it back to them on my own cost and they cannot do replacement but instead provide a credit to my account.
This is so frustrating because I'm in not to make money and I buy for my own use. My monthly orders a weave over $300 and this is the $#*! I get.
No doubt, some of their oils are pretty good (but expensive), they shouldn't be shipping old dated oils and I don't care what they say that their EO don't expire because if you know chemistry, majority of the oils react with the air as soon as we open the bottles.
I have no where else to write out my frustrations because YL CS don't even bother.
I encourage everyone who buys any EO, please email for harvest/ production dates.
My monthly order of Oct has not arrived. And this was ordered last Oct 3. They cannot seem to coordinate with their local courier. I've been calling and i've been emailing and i have received standard bull***! Answers as if it was my fault i have not received the package. Some of us work and do not stay in the house everyday. Packages need to be coordinated for delivery and there is NONE from both youngliving and their nominated local courier. I have already canceled my monthly orders and have decided to explore other oils due to this experience.
I have had nothing but great experiences with this company, I always receive the correct order (been an ER member over a year now btw) and they arrive the same time every month so there is no wondering where my package is. I had to stop my ER membership temporarily due to personal finances and the representative that helped me out ( Lori member # *******) was polite and helpful. This process was fast and painless and I was informed I can jump right back into the program at any time. Thank you Young Living for filling my house with wonderful smells, helping my body with healing during flu season as well as joint pain but mostly for being a pleasure to do business with. I bought the wrong oil, so I had two orders. I asked by e-mail to cancel my first order. They said yes. Then all of a sudden, I had two orders shipped. I called in to ask why they were both shipped, and they had NO idea about the e-mail I had documented with my cancellation request. They refused to make it right, charged me for both orders, and lost a customer in the process. I'll gladly shop elsewhere for my products that will take care of a long time customer better than this!
Never received $200 credit for return product, terrible customer service. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and also other agencies. Paid $20 to return product shipped through memberships not explained fully. Do not have post office receipt, however, post office said they had to receive or I would have gotten the box back. RA# clearly marked on package. Out $200! They cannot look for box shipped from me, my name and location or RA#.
Owns Farms for 35 yearsWe had a retail store in New York and we stocked 16 to 18 companies. We noticed many of the doctors coming from Winthrop Hospital only using the Young Living so one day we asked why would they purchased that with the others were so much less money and they told us to contact all of the companies and ask them where they get their products and how they test their products and how long they've been in business So that is what we did Only two companies would give us all the information on the phone And we were only allowed to visit to corporate offices one of them being Young Living and the other being doTERRA Youngliving owned farms for over 26 years and doTERRA was for only 4 years. We were told by doTERRA that they absolutely dilute the Oil's that they don't need to be pure To be effective And that they don't need to own farms because they had Parker Farms But we mention to them you have no idea I have a partner farms soil is being treated before you partnered with them So we decided to go with Young Living because we know the seed to seal difference is major We also did not like how they were talking about Young Living at doTERRA Youngliving had nothing negative to say about anybody and we liked that they just stayed on the positive side So now are only use Young Living at all of our dental offices And we decided to sell the store And just focus on building the business online and through private doctor offices of our colleagues. We saw a major difference with dementia Parkinson's and Alzheimer's patients When we used to Young living before doing dental treatment
I bought a Young Living diffuser and oil set for my wife for Christmas for $170. She set it up immediately and 8 days later it was leaking water all over her nightstand so I took it back to the consultant I purchased if from. Its now over 3 months later and I still have not received a new one.
In the meantime I have purchased 3 different off brand diffusers from other stores for a total of $85 and they all work flawlessly. Now I'm being told that new parts for our Young Living diffuser will be in soon and I should have it back in no time.
My wife and I have made numerous calls to the Young Living customer service number with every call ending with the same answer - This needs to be handled with the person you purchased it from! There is no other way to get this taken care of.
Our Young Living diffuser is cheaply made, over priced, and broken. So its basically useless. The Young Living costumer service operators have no helpful answers and are for the most part useless. And the Young Living consultants are nice people who do a great job unless there is a problem and then they become as useless as the operators and their products.
So here's my story guys my future wife loves the oils her and her mom use them all day everyday and I tbink they are actually helpful I have had some injuries in the past since I played sports in high school and by me useing the cool azul I feel great. I also use the thieves toothpaste, and there bears oil all with perfect outcomes but my issue is more of a personal matter. My girlfriend is so fixated with these products she doesn't understand how it affects others, she wants to educate every one and every person about how some things people use aren't the best for you and how only young living is safe. The oils give me some time of reacting at times specifically the thieves cleaner or if she difusses any oil I get a sore throat as well as a stuffy nose. I just want people to understand that it's hard to be in a relationship with someone whoes so passionate about a oil and a company that it affects your relationship. I think young Living needs to know that ropeing people in to a better lifestyle is only possible with a mindset if I wanna eat twinkies and drink beer then I will but if I want to have carrots and water I also will the company means well but the get people in and it changes them overall still tbink there products are pretty good and probably the best oils out there
This company is the biggest farce! They do not READ! I have a broken diffuser... under warranty! Wrote to YL customer service and the reply? "we appreciate the fact that you want to return our products, but you can keep them, after all our quality in the oils are sensational and there is no need to throw them away because we did not provide you with the service you deserve." UNBELIEVEABLE!
This basic kit clearly states that actual samples should be in package (15mL) and they were not. The company said that they are add on's but that is not what the heavy card stock package indicates. I received the item as a gift, so I can't go back to the giver and tell her what a junky gift this was. If this is any indication of how the company does business, then stay far away!
I have had chemical burns/allergic reactions to people putting a drop of Young Living essential oils onto them self near me.
I feel like si have a bad sunburn for 3 days and I am red. Even my eye burns.
I may not be a big volume member, but I have been a consistent member since 2015. I needed to place an order and wanted to use my reward points. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't use my points because my last order (which was just processed) was $4 shy of the minimum because the company had one of my products out of stock. This was not due to my doing. So now I have to either spend MORE money by moving up this month's order or I have to wait until the end of this month.
I don't mind having rules you need them to effectively run a company. When the rules become so stringent that you throw customer service out the window, that is a problem. It is a shame. The oils are great but the company has lost it's view of what customer service means.

It is a wonderful company that cares about human body and nature. If you are into healthy living and things good for your body you should definitely check Young Living website and purchase some goods! Their products are 100% natural and does miracles to your health. Try them out and let the products speak themselves.
I have been trying to deal with customer service for 3 weeks to return a defective diffuser which was $260. All diffusers are sold as a kit for first purchase. They only offer replacements. I get a different story from each rep I speak with. I can no longer trust this company due to the awful customer service and would never represent any sales to have customers deal with their terrible customer service.
I ordered a few oils on May 24th. It is now June 6th, and the tracking provided still shows it not even delivered over to the USPS. It has been stuck in Indiana for a week, no movement at all. Evidently, still with their "shipping partner". USPS isn't even in possession of the package yet.
Answer: Going to the farm and visiting headquarters clearly made Youngliving the choice for us we love all the other companies but as a dental professionals we cannot take any chances with diluted product and we don't like how other companies continuously a very negative Youngliving seem to be about positivity so it's what works for us We now have 17 medical professionals and their entire office is using Youngliving as well as 11 hospitals Everyone's happy and that's really what matters
