I find it hard to read the negative reviews as I have had an account with YL for 6 years. If a family relationship is "ruined" that has to do with the people involved and what's going on between them. If a rep is ‘pushy' that is their choice and you get that in all businesses, find another. YL does not make anyone do anything, it is how the individual person behaves - their choice to be that way just like anything in life. I have never in 6+ years had a Cap that split, find the staff I deal with so polite & professional, have made some beautiful heartfelt friends and find the quality exceptional. ( I am very sensitive to synthetics) I live in Australia & we have 39 oils approved for food and beverage use. How many oils out there have been approved in that way?. There will always be the critics, the naysayers, those that just like to have something to bang on about in everything that goes on in the world around you, and for those that have had a genuinely negative experience I am sorry to hear. Have your own voice, make your own choice, experience YL for yourself. Referral no *******.
YL told me that my order would be shipped First Class SVC and would come in 7-9 days. Wrong! I received my first order after 19 days. As for my second order, it has been 23 days and I no package yet. I had to call customer service 5 times.
I was a loyal member for over a year. Trapped in with their monthly mandatory $50 order. I came to a point where I didnt need to speak $50 plus tax and shipping each month on oils however decided to keep ordering their ninjax drink. For the last two months we have had shipping issues. First they charge $20 for expedited shipping only to have the drinks arrive two weeks later. For April I didnt even receive my order.; UPS tracking never picked it up and each time I call YL I get the runaround! They dont know what happened, blah blah. 3 days on the phone trying to get my money back. I finally had to dispute with my bank and block any charges from YL!. You can easily find products just as good if not better elsewhere. They are cheaper and shipping is usually free or much lower. No other company traps you into this pyramid scheme! They brain wash you into thinking you can make money! No you cant. The only way you are making money is buy dishing out your own each month and trying to trap others into buying this stuff monthly. Once ppl realize whats going on they drop off and you are stuck!
After I cancelled my monthly order it still was put through, then I emailed asking to be cancelled and was still shipped out!
The products are ok, I was convinced, but then I realised it's really just a pyramid scheme and all they care about is the money and getting themselves higher up the pyramid.
Really disappointed as I had high hopes.
Try Revive. The oils average 30 percent of cost, there is no shipping or taxes. Young Living jacks up the price to support MLM, adds shipping, shipping tax, regular tax. Revive has same quality (or better) oils, greater selection, faster shipping, etc.
My mother is a YL rep and by all means I support every venture that she has. She bought me a diffuser for Christmas that I was (at first) very excited about. However since then, I have been her customer, not her son. I gave her a very specific "i will come you to" boundary which she refuses to follow. Then she guilt trips me every single time I refer to the boundary. The YL business model uses friends and family against each other and promotes pushing limits to reach the "next level". Well the next level will be pretty lonely.
The most HORRIBLE customer I've ever experienced as I submitted my review to the BBB and terminated my membership via submitting the form from my HOTEL this past summer during the pandemic while on vacation which was the HAPPIEST this year I've ever been! Don't waste your time or money on these HIPPIE or HOLY HUNS trying to get you to join their cult when there's other HIGH quality EO companies that are very HELPFUL and HONEST! You know HONORABLE as they aren't MLMS :)
I love this company it is my favorite I've been using these oils for a long time I would never use any other kind they had changed my life in many ways the owner Gary D young was the best guy ever! Please keep his legacy alive!
I signed up as an essential reward member with young living, and quickly realized it was a money pit. Lots of money, little gain. The website as a whole is a mess, especially during their Holiday launches. They're unable to keep items in stock, website failures, 4-6 week shipping delays, the list goes on. It makes you wonder where all our money actually goes. I'd recommend their product, but poor feedback for the company itself.
I received an automatic order that i did not want. Received it and turned it back to company within a day. Did not touch any of the products and i was charged $69 for the entire order and then they only gave me a 38$ CREDIT...

I was called hurtful names and rude names while trying to get some oils for my kid. Horrible person who ever the owner is.
Most nonuser friendly site I have ever seen. Struggled for 2 hours with a representative help And then the payment got deducted twice! Will not recommend
Honest review 10 years with this company they do not Value you as a person that sells there products do not care. It is all about the money everything negative they say about this company is true you are better off extracting the oils from plants yourself and, saving money then going with them.
I received a Feather the Owl diffuser as a GIFT for my son. He absolutely loved it. The diffuser, lights, and sounds worked perfect, for about two weeks. Then the sounds wouldn't work. I contacted customer service to try to troubleshoot or get it replaced. The customer service I received From Jade S. Was telling me that since it was a gift there was nothing I could do about exchanging it. I asked If she could help me figure out why it stopped working and I got told that I may need a new diffuser or new parts but I couldn't do any of that, even though it has a one year warranty. If you want to waste your time and money to be extremely disappointed in a product that stops working in two weeks then this is the product for you. The customer service rep Jade S. Was completely incompetent in listening or helping out the customer. Everything about this experience has been horrible. DO NOT BUY.
I should have known not to trust this company when my research about them uncovered that their founder had been charged with fraud for pretending to be a Doctor. In addition, the founder had also been investigated for manslaughter when he participated in an alternative birthing method which resulted in the death of his new born baby. But by this stage it was too late. I had already signed up and invested quite a lot of my time and money so I pushed ahead to continue spending and spreading the good word about Young Living, comforted by the fact that Garry Young had passed away and the company had an opportunity to change its spots. And then i experienced the dodgy behaviour for myself. Can't say I'm surprised, but I am very disappointed and hope to warn others.

I don't know WHERE you get your data, but Young Living essential oils are amazing. They do wonders for our family. We are busy changing our way of thinking about modern medicine as we've had so much success with Young living oils.
I have had over ten of the caps to my young living oils crack and pop so they no longer seal the oils. Young Living refuses to replace the caps. However, upon purchasing they tell you that your oils will last for years if stored properly. I have tried for several days to get someone on the phone. A customer service person cannot be reached by phone, they don't answer. I use the online chat and it takes 35 minutes to get a chat person, have them respond, answer questions, and then tell you that they do not replace caps.
All I wanted was a pretty item that smells nice. I didn't want a monthly fee. Rep turned from happy to a nasty person and bugging me all week with excuses. I called bank to cancel and called salon to cancel. $1 credit came thru bank apparently holding pending until something was released. That would be the product. Big disappointment, one minute they luv ya the next they're telling me I better pick up the phone. Excuses were a guy said there was a mess up in the system. Then a convention. First I was a member then Not. Money was available, something definitely not on the ball. I tried after being warned about this mlm scam and cult like behavior. Now it seems so true.
I had ordered young living's all purpose cleaner, when it arrived at my house, the liquid had leaked inside the bag.
My friend who had recently got me to join said call customer service they are great, they will replace it for you no problem. I called young living customer service after waiting in the queue for 30 mins I got a representative who told me they would give me some points towards a next purchase. I didn't want a credit towards a next purchase I just wanted a new bottle. This is poor customer service and because of this they will be loosing me as a customer.
Answer: Going to the farm and visiting headquarters clearly made Youngliving the choice for us we love all the other companies but as a dental professionals we cannot take any chances with diluted product and we don't like how other companies continuously a very negative Youngliving seem to be about positivity so it's what works for us We now have 17 medical professionals and their entire office is using Youngliving as well as 11 hospitals Everyone's happy and that's really what matters
