Apparently you do not have the right to cancel your product even if you didn't renew the contract. Apparently, all they have to "try" and reach you 3 times and your file is auto renewed. I never received an email or a phone call. But they say they have record. I asked for the record and was told they can not supply it. Interesting. They have also turned off online reviews on Facebook because of the amount of 1 star reviews and complaints they were receiving. Shady business practices... Small business. Invest elsewhere for your business.

Don't use it as it's all to put you in contract even your services don't even start. Not even deserve 1 star.

I've had a successful campaign with Yellow Pages and it only happened because I understood what results I'll be receiving. Customer service can be improved drastically but definitely NOT one star. The company wouldn't exist on the first page of Google if their products didn't work.

They screw you over so bad! They do not do what they promise, but bill you anyway. Then they bill you for things you never authorized. Horrible company! If I could turn back time I would never have used them. I didn't get any business from them either.

Beware of using Yellow Pages for reviews. I own a business and have a huge problem with competitors placing fraudulent reviews on sites. I have never had a company tell me there was nothing they can do and refuse to remove a fraudulent review but that's exactly what they did. If I'm listing my business on a site I expect to have some sort of monitoring software being used in order to prevent this from happening. If they just allow anyone to post from multiple fake accounts then it defeats the purpose of reviews Beware!

I was sold advertising that did work how I was promised, (all to do with how they located local business online), Then after a couple of long phone calls and an investigation i was promised a refund, but I was to close the the end of that billing cycle and it would take 2 months to show up. Then After contacting them about the refund I've been told that they now have to submit a requested for a refund which will take another 2 months. There staff are polite, but full of BS.

I got a phone call from them and was nice to listen to their sales man, I think it was my fault to said Yes during the contract explain, never meant to buy their service at the first place. Then after a few months they send me an invoice charging me, so I had to make a phone call to cancel and they assume me trying not to pay for what I have been used. I literally never go on YP to check for my vendor at all after that phone call, I think it's a way to trap people and rip people off by using voice recording contract over phone, not to mention I asked for a physcial contract back then so I can decide later, shouldn't have said Yes now they just want the money. Unprofessional, big company? But small brain and sketchy way of sales.

I was led to believe that I could cancel at anytime and I now have found out that I am under a year to year contract that just rolls over with-out notice. You are not told about this you are directed to go to their website and find out for yourself. This is way worse then trying to get out of any contract. I will not endorse a company that does back door non disclosing evil such as this. DO NOT ADVERTISE OR DO ANYTHING WITH THIS BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU ALL THE INFORMATION!

Yellow pages online advertising is a complete waste of money, and the organization is set up to screw customers. YP is very good at sounding like they are offering value and promising results when in fact they an obsolete parasite clawing at whoever they can on their way down the toilet. After being bilked for $2500 and recieving absolutely no results in return, I dearly wish I had read the reviews. Avoid at all costs!

After spending $500-$1000 per month for 17 years, when I discontinued the service, which I did IN WRITING and ON TIME, they have sent their legal department after me for over 2 years. First, they tried to squeeze over $4000. 00 out of me, with threatening letters from their accounts department, and then their lawyer. Each time they harass me, the amount they are ILLEGALLY trying to BULLY out of me changes (it's now at $400!). This company tries to operate on the premise that if you sign a contract, then AFTER that contract expires, even if you declare in writing that you wish not enter into another contract with them, they will treat you as if you did in fact sign a new contract, even though you did not. Next, they will sue you, and send you to a collection agency to try to harm your credit rating, as they have with MANY OTHER Canadian Business owners. The courts continue to rule in favour of the business owners who do not sign new contracts, but Yellow Pages' business model is dependant upon people just capitulating to their BULLYING TACTICS outlined here.

DO NOT ENTER INTO ANY KIND OF CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE FAR MORE REPUTABLE AND ETHICAL ADVERTIZING COMPANIES TO DO BUSINESS WITH THAT CAN GET THE JOB DONE MUCH BETTER.

Snake Oil Sales
March 12, 2017

I would rate them them as snake oil salesmen saleswoman but at least with snake oil you have ano empty bottle to use when it's over. They took over 3 weeks to put on my correct business address all that time I have semi truck drivers some with b trains heading down a residential Blvd. After over 50 emails and over 25 phone calls they managed to finally change it. Wow this is the worst company on the history of Earth.

As a business owner, why can I not respond to an untrue, vicious review? Even your competition... can make up lies to destroy your business. There is no window, for the business owner to respond! Upon reading your terrible reviews, as a business owner yourself, which there are thousands! I find it unfair, and extremely biased that, "I as a business OWNER HAVE NO VOICE!" Perhaps, we as buisness owners, need to get together, and have a class action LAWSUIT AGAINST YELLOW PAGES OWNERS~!

Have been trying to cancel contract for months, no matter who you talk to, it is not there department, although if you where trying to give them money they know exactly how to get it. Contract renewed from voice in shady way, how can you trust a company with your business advertising that does not communicate internally. Would not recommend this company to anyone not even an enemy

So today I went to cancel this years yellow page ad and was informed that the rep left me a message stating that if I didn't return their call then they will renew the service even without my consent. They will continue to issue me invoices and if necessary send me to collections if I do not pay. How does a company operate a business this way. I explained that I did not say yes to renewing my ad subscription and they said too bad, we don't care and that it is international policy. This company sucks and maybe we need to all start a class action lawsuit against them. Worst business ever, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will have to pay another 1300 for absolutely nothing.

The salesman promised my company would be on the first page of google search. That never happened. I tried to cancel. That cant happen. Now i get 2 calls for collections for a product that did not exsist. 100 % of my customers found me on other sources. Considering legal action for harrasment, misrepresentation and unfair trading practices.

This dodo of a company has been harassing my clients, making recorded phone calls to entrap them into services I'm already providing (and apparently, they're terrible at anyway)! Their Terms and Conditions should be illegal, and the sales tactics they use should be a crime.

Stay away from, and stop cheating my clients, you bully of a company!

Yellow page is scamming me. As a company we just wanted to build a backlink for SEO purposes. Salesperson tried to scam us and make us pay a $75.00 monthly fee. I asked him to send a contract and will review it. He sent a contract and never got back and now they are making me pay about $700 because of a voice claim that claims I agreed. They have the wrong name, and business address in the name.
