Paid for kitchen in 2014 & everything was OK. After 5 years the door facings started to delaminate.
They replaced all the doors & sent a fitter to do the work.
Now the replacements are doing the same thing.
They have offered me £266 full & final settlement to resolve this?
Bought a Wren kitchen a year ago, nothing but issues with delivery being wrong, final print out wasnt the same as on the screen, was incorrect and kitchen fitted when I was away, units ended up in wrong place, oven next to fridge. Wren said just move them, at my expense. Now I have 4 doors with chips in them. I live on my own, so no high footfall and dont cook much. They said its accidental damage. Im appalled, it wasnt a cheap low range kitchen and expected more from Wren. My old cheap kitchen was in situ for over 20 years and lasted better than my new one. Seems very badly made, bad quality
So after my 1 star review Wren replaced 3 doors of by NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE J design kitchen. They want to charge me £62 + VAT for the fourth. Why would I pay for more poor quality doors that wont last long.? My kitchen is just over 1 year old, I live on my own so it doesnt have much footfall. Wren said its my fault the doors are falling apart as I havent looked after it. The amount of complaints on different sites about the poor quality of the J design kitchen is unreal, yet Wren still carries on selling them. Somone said i was "spray painted Cr@P" and I should have done my research first. I expect a decent quality for what I spent on my kitchen. My old chep one was better quality than this. Im disgusted with Wren. Sales lady Naomi in Newport all sweetness and light, until issues arose, then she and the branch dont want to know. Appalling service. Dont be fooled with the smiley sales people and definately dont buy the J design kitchen. I dread to think what my kitchen will look like in 12 months:(
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Wren has the worst customer service process especially once goods are purchased. Bad experience from me, bad experience for my parent and bad experience from a friend. 3 / 3 who bought from Wren cant be a coincidence. Wish I listened and bought elsewhere instead of falling for the charms of the designers who constantly contradicts themselves on the act of the possible. Now I have to pay for their inability to do their jobs well.
The measuring team got it wrong
Design team got it wrong and when corrections were made, the explanation was poor
Pre fit went wrong
Now i have a 240mm gap in my utility after paying £25k which I have to pay a further £291 to fix and also need to wait 2 weeks to receive the items! A joke!
Poor quality of worktops. Poor customer service. Needed new work tops replacing - expected to coordinate works etc. No ownership from Wren to solve their problems.
In May I raised an issue with 2 frontals in my kitchen which was installed in April. The works have now been carried out satisfactorily by 2 very good guys, thank you. The only negative was it took 3 months with constant chasing to get the work done.
Poor quality, badly advised! Complete joke is something is wrong! Apparently when you sign the contract you sign away all your consumer rights! DO NOT USE. I am sure below they will write sorry to hear about your experience we will investigate and contact you directly. No contact from anyone at WREN. I urge you please do not get drawn into the 5 years interest free it is not worth the hassle I would rather Sell my house and move rather than deal with these guys again it is less stressful.
Wren kitchens have been very supportive from the very first appointment to discuss possible designs. Rachael, our designer was extremely supportive and always available to help during the process, right through to completion. We had a couple of issues with supplies, including one pack of flooring was needed to finish the job. Wren Kitchens support team were great at sorting the problems and helpful with enquires. We've had our kitchen for a couple of months and our visitors are impressed! It is practical as well as smart and everything that we wished for.
Terrible company - awful product and worse service. Save your stress and money and use anyone else! Literally! My £30k kitchen looks like a £5k kitchen at a push. My doors were replaced numerous times - they will offer numerous replacements and still make a profit! That tells you how rubbish it all is! I attach one photo - all bar door is peeling stained and looks like grott!
Design stage more concerned with deposit getting paid than the correct kitchen, 8 further revisions to the contract with only 1 design change; a direct swap of a hob to a cheaper one yet for some bamboozling justification they only offered part refund. Fitted fine but Wren decided it was a good idea to sign the kitchen off on my behalf, more bamboozlement (or fraud?). Glad its over tbh.
Very pleased from start to finish.
The planning was easy and kitchen arrived on time. One unit was damaged but was replaced the next day. I can't fault anything. Thank you!
I would not recommend Wren at Lincoln. Opted for Wren as needed everything done in one week and hoped for a supportive experience as this was my first kitchen purchase.
Paid for full installation, then had to chase and chase and chase for extra fitting costs. Even had to visit store to get this information, finally received it via text message from fitter. Had to request breakdown of costs. No support to understand or obtain honest costing from team in store.
I'm now in a position where I have no option to seek alternative or competitive quotes in time. Hands completely tied. The team in store seem completely unconcerned thus far.
If you're hoping for a supportive experience or need to know the total cost of your kitchen installation at least a month before it arrives, would recommend you look elsewhere.
Hopeful for a quality installation, but this will be due to the expertise of the fitter and not Wrens customer service.
The whole process was fantastic, from showroom to delivery I was kept informed and the one tiny little problem was sorted out promptly and without question. I absolutely love my Wren kitchen and would recommend them to anyone!
Excellent from design to fitting - Fantastic showroom and staff. Any small problems sorted or replaced along the way no fuss.
Delighted with our new kitchen. From beginning to end we could not fault the choice & service.
Great service from browsing the showroom to completion.
We now have a beautiful and functional kitchen.
The design has made excellent use of a small space
We received excellent service, very attentive and made the whole process painless. Very happy with the new kitchen and the service
Wren started the fitting of my kitchen but never completed it and I am still waiting for an offer of compensation 4 months on.
Wren started the fitting of my kitchen 4 months ago.
On the 1st day of fitting everything seemed to be going well however after day 1 or 2 the fitter kept disappearing to do other jobs and only returned after I would make a complain. Then he would return for a couple of hours and disappear again stating that he had go and fit a bathroom for someone else and would return in a couple of days but the same thing kept on happening over and over again and he has still not returned to complete the job.
I then decided to make a written complain to Wren by email and by post outlining the consumer credit act 2015 and proposed an offer of solution which included the following:
1. A full refund for the cost of the goods and fitting
2. The fitting to be completed with a substantial discount on the cost of the fitting as well as a refund on the cost for the collection of the rubbish that you charged me for and replacement and fitting of faulty or damage items.
To date Wren has not replied to my complaint other then to arrange for a new fitter to attend my home to complete the fitting.
Wren has not accepted any responsibility and has not made any offer of compensation.
I would not recommend Wren Kitchen to anyone. Everything is over priced and the service and workmanship is appalling. In my opinion they are absolute rubbish

We started with a very good experience with Wren during the booking phase, but as per many reviews they became much more difficult once they had our money. Firstly the kitchen was supposed to come in one order and ended up coming across 3 orders as items were missing every time. This ended up costing us more money and significant delay as we had to keep calling back and paying our fitter. Then once we had the kitchen installed Wren decided to provide us with Quartz which had 99% of the veins in one direction but then one small section with the veining going the other way. We understood that they couldnt guarantee that all the veins would be in one direction, but to have every piece in one direction and then only one piece with the graining going in the other (on our feature wall) has made our feature wall look ridiculous. No discussion was had with us around where we would like the veining going etc. - we raised this with Wren directly and just got repetitive emails saying 'nothing we can do'. When we have spent such a considerable sum we would have expected them to change this small section or at least had the conversation with us before to discuss the veining and where we would like to include the section with the graining the other day - to do it on one small section only looks so silly and were now stuck with it as they wont help - would have expected better especially as they already cost us money with several split deliveries.
