VOICE QUALITY AMAZING I REALLY RECOMMEND its amazing its come with default uk number you can add $#*! many number you wait amazing voice quality i always recommend you buy world sim its best for traveler
So expensive
If you use sim internet(cellular) you most to pay very high rate for internet but for voice calls not bad i give 50$ for sharing 2 picture in instagram! So be careful about roaming cellular
ENJOYED! THE SERVICES IN THE COUNTRY I TRAVELLED WOULD DEFINATLY RECOMEND!
Excellent product, allows me to use anywhere in the world without buying local SIM. The rates are excellent, and you can put on auto pilot by enrolling in auto charge
My worst experience so far has been with Tri-Fi -- Worldsim's Wi-Fi (Mi-Fi) router. I bought it bona fide, trusting the statement Worldsim makes on its website, namely that "All of these MiFi devices are unlocked so you can use any SIM card inside." Unfortunately, this is not true for the Tri-Fi. It connects to the Internet only with the Worldsim data SIM. I requested to know how I can UNLOCK it, but received an automatic reply how to configure the device. I need to use the device locally, and Worldsim's data SIM is useless for this. My $27 credit evaporated after about 10 minutes roaming, which is quite unacceptable.
Excellent product, allows me to use anywhere in the world without buying local SIM. The rates are excellent, and you can put on auto pilot by enrolling in auto charge. Being using it for over 3 years
I've been using World Sim for 2 years now. At first I had some issues with their service, but after they rolled out their new sim cards I have had no problems. I travel throughout Europe and face no roaming charges, and I can call the USA too without a hitch. This is fantastic for me as someone whose work carries them throughout the world. The rates are reasonable to me, and I can connect to the internet for a rate that is a bit expensive, but helpful for emergency situations where I need to check google maps. Also, their support is rather helpful and my issues have all been resolved very quickly.
I am using worldsim since 2009 and I am really happy with the service
New sim cards with 4G are really awesome
WorldSim is the worst company I have had the misfortune to use. The company is only concerned in taking your money and the after sales support service is a joke. From a website which didn't allow you to post your issues, The inability of support staff to read the issue you are reporting and rolling out the standard email response. Not to mention a UK number which is treated a a premium rate number. Defeating somewhat the cost of someone calling from the UK.
To 0 follow up on issues which may have been fixed.
AVOID at all costs
Product simply does not work. Customer service deplorable, SIM cards would not register on the local network, and their idea of customer support was to suggest I dial the number correctly. Gee. Thanks. Stay away - far far away.
I had a good experience with them when I went to Brazil, I also got a wifi pass for the duration of my trip which was very useful. Unfortunately I then recharged my account with £30 to be able to buy a bundle for Colombia. The website said I would have also gotten a Wifi pass again but once I made the payment it didn't happen. I contacted customer service and they told me the wifi pass offer was not available anymore (!), so I had recharged an extra amount for no reason! (they gave me $5 back... really not enough). The WORST part was while in Colombia, the data bundle worked for the first day (was 500Mb over 2 weeks) and I only sent a couple of whatsapp texts (so only used a few Kb). For the rest of the trip the phone just would not connect to any of the networks (including the recommended one for data), and therefore I was not able to use data for the whole trip (and my £30 where completely wasted). I tried everything but it would just not connect, plus it did work the first day so clearly it was a problem with the Sim, that was "refused" by the network. Luckily customer service got in contact with me and refunded me of the wasted money plus an extra $10 for the annoyance. Good to see they admitted the error.
I'm very disappointed with this company. While I think that their products are great I find that their customer service is awful
I ordered a Philco Tablet which included a sim card with £20 credit
It arrived very quickly but the tablet turned out to be faulty
~It took a week of explaining things mostly over the phone before they agreed to have it back for testing. I sent it along with the SIM by Recorded delivery costing me £4.40 postage
They sent me a brand new replacement, only minus my SIM card
I've no way of knowing if the tablet is working with a SIM because they haven't returned it
I complained last Friday that they forgot to return the SIM. 6 days later no SIM card and 3 messages all ignored
I'm now £24.40 out of pocket + the cost of several phone calls
If they don't resolve my issue soon I'm on the verge of contacting Trading Standards. I want either my SIM or £24+ credit
I'm fed up with calling them and getting nowhere. Almost a month since my original order
Nightmare trying to get a refund from worldsim for faulty goods. Lucky I paid with paypal and got a full refund
The rates on World Sim are much better than other roaming sim. Easy to top up online. I found mine to be reliable and still using the same sim for the last 5 years.
I have been using WorldSim for at least four years, and have always had frustration with it. But, lately I had a very bad experience. I got new SIM cards and I made two very short (20 second each) calls just to test if the system was working while I was in Ethiopia. For these I got charged US$30, which put my account into arrears by about $5 and they suspended my service. When I eventually, after about two days of back and forth with the help chat service, got it resolved they said this was correct. They initially said that I was using the wrong local system and should have put '00' in front of the number... but they eventually said that the charges were correct. After complaining they said they would credit my account by $15, which they have never done, now after two weeks and even contacting them about it. So, they left me without service in a country where there is a state of emergency and then never kept their word. I am very very unhappy with the whole program, even after buying an expensive router (the 'tri') and even a digital watch, which was also very disappointing.
Arranged for a card at Amsterdam Schipol. Couldn't get it to work for over an hour with the guy at the WorldSim kiosk. Finally got it set up on an iPhone 5 correctly, we thought. Next morning it had burned through almost all of the original credit. Realized we hadn't turned off "Background App Refresh." Turned that off and topped up another $25 and it burned through that almost immediately and we were only using google maps. Then bought a Vodaphone sim at a Vodaphone store in Leiden and it's worked without hassle so far in Holland and Germany. WorldSim is not transparent and you have to look for carriers in Germany. Then they tell you to go to Telephonica 2, but that only shows up as O2.DE on your phone. Confusing. Going to chuck this card forever. I'm out about $50 overall. Best to find wifi and use skype.
Bought a WiFi Power Bank and data sim, it worked once okay...
Prices are far higher then shown by World Sim!
The World Sim telephone card was almost empty in 3 minutes talk...
3m56s for US$ 24,28...
Conclusion, nice promises but al big fake.
I travel a lot and have experimented with a variety of different SIM card/connectivity options. WorldSIM is by far the worst. Even if this is your last option, it would be better to travel without connectivity than to expose your personal information (name, credit card, email address) to these scammers. Shame on me for not reading reviews before I bought. Complications have been legion, starting with a late delivery (even though I asked and paid for overnight service); a refusal to refund the overnight service fee; hours and hours on the phone and "help chat" trying to secure the promised services; rectify billing mistakes; etc. Set up alone took three hours, thanks to extremely poor directions, and I'm a fairly tech-savvy person.
Save yourself the headache as well as the anxiety about what this sham of a company might do with your personal information.
(If you are reading through reviews, please note that recent positive reviews are all very short with no detail, and that a large spate of positive reviews were posted on the same day last year--both of which make me believe that WorldSIM is scamming the review system too.)
