The grate I ordered was too small and the width was very small. But we are making do with it. Needed the grate. And for the money it cost not happy with the design of the grate. The prongs are bend up too high which limits how much wood you can put on it. And it tapers too much in the back and prongs bend up too high which limits how much wood can fit.

I recently bought a Vestal 30" fireplace grate. It was spendy but it is the largest grate I've ever purchased for my masonry fireplace and the additional cost was well worth it as I examined the weight and quality of the grate. I'm tired of spening $160 on "made in China" grates that burn through in 2 months. This is forged right here in Tennessee and I'm assured that although it cost twice as much I'm sure I will be seeing more than one season of use. I bought a log set for around 900. I had it installed and found out the flame wouldn't go very high. I have a professional install it and he couldn't get the flame any higher. I then found out the log set can't be returned because it was installed. I had to purchase another set because the one I got from your company was trash and very expensive. I bought another set that is larger and had the remote included for half the amount I paid for your set. Now I have a log set that is basically trash. Inferior product that can't be returned

I moved to Texas 5 years ago. The Fireplace in the home was not functional because the previous owners had taken the logs with them. I called local fireplace businesses and was not told exactly what I needed to order. I was greatly assisted when I called to request help about a fireplace insert for propane logs. The inside of the fireplace needed to be measured to determine the size of the logs. The delivery took about one week. My plumber came out the very next day and installed it. Product arrived quicker than stated. We had professional installation but couldn't use one log as the 3 burner legs are making set too tall to fit top log. The set is beautiful, looks real, puts off enough heat for our family room. Very happy with this purchase.
