I live on a dirt road that can't handle tractor trailers. I made that clear to my salesperson. Anyway on delivery day the driver called from the main road saying that he had a tractor trailer and could not come up my road. Ok I drove a mile to the driver and had to help him load into my car, 160 pounds of granite hearth pad. He couldn't do it himself. I asked him to drive in my car with me to help me unload and he refused. The sales people were fine other than not making sure that the proper truck was used.

I ordered a specific item, and they sent me the wrong thing twice. I was late in reporting the original item shipped was incorrect and was and was penalized to re-purchase.

You bought a great fireplace and Nathan was happy to help you find what you needed. Our service team does their best to help, but in a situation where a problem with the shipment is reported so late after delivery, the shippers will not help. Folks who get with us right away to report lost or missing items are never denied and we are able to help. When we can't get it covered, we'll still help with the best pricing we can provide for replacement parts. Thank you for three stars and the valuable feedback.
The need to order the 5000W dual-element heaters (to replace the 6000W ones previously ordered) was triggered by the local building inspector as the 6000W heaters would demand more Amps than even heavy-duty residential wiring. I was astounded that the manufacturer acknowledged the mis-match. We chose to down-size the heaters, rather than install "industrial metal gray box" turn-off switch boxes.
Kudos to WoodlandDirect for promptly responding to the issue and sending the right-sized heaters.

My shopping experience was fine. Easy to navigate website. I bought a 3 ft and 5 ft log holder. I can't speak for the product yet, because I can't put it together. I tried the 3ft one. The pieces are heavy for me to hold while trying to insert bolts. One bolt seems like it doesn't fit. I haven't been able to find anyone to help me yet. I'll probably have to advertise for someone I can pay to put these together. It's very frustrating. I'm not necessarily blaming the product, I'm a senior and don't have the strength I once had. But I thought this would be a piece of cake and it isn't.
You bought Woodhaven racks and they are absolutely the best racks you can buy. Once you find a helper to get them assemble and in place, you'll never need to replace them. They are sturdily built and as you said, warrantied for a lifetime. Thank you for your business and the feedback.

Ordered a new cover. It seems to be of high quality. A few years of use will tell for sure; the one that came with my wood rack (16' rack that holds a face cord) lasted several years which I consider not too bad.
If you use a 16' Woodhaven with logs cut at 24" then technically you can put a true full cord on the rack You are right though. Most people don't cut logs to 24" unless they have exceptionally large fireboxes. With that, our biggest rack will hold about 2/3 of a full cord, like you said. You must be a veteran wood burner.
