Your shipping to Alaska is silly ridiculous. I sent the item to family in the lower 48. They posted it to Alaska for a fraction of what you proposed. You need to rethink your shipping strategy.
Just ship through ground rates. Just FYI, Alaska is part of the United States. Good luck. We do have quite a lot of fireplaces here in the largest state of the US.

I called to help get clarification of an opening needed for a fireplace on your website. I had a specific opening already built for a fireplace from another company. It ended up being cancelled and we needed to find something that would fit that opening or hopefully be slightly smaller. I explained my search to the technical sales guy I spoke with, and he helped me quickly find a solution and we ordered it same day, and had it within a week. Incredibly helpful and saved me hours of searching and extra labor on site to retrofit for a fireplace.

Had to replace the manual gas log that came broken. Emailed what happened, filled out a form and sent a picture of the broken valve handle and a new one came in a few days. Great customer service

The grate is substantial but was too tall for my preference. I cut about 3-1/2" off the legs with an angle grinder. It's much better now as it conceals my log lighter.

Great grate! Very strong, sturdy and best of all AMERICAN made! It is twice the width of my other one which fits our firebox much better. I specifically needed a 5-6 inch clearance, and Woodland Direct was the only company to have one!

I I received a gas log set that looked like the parts were used before and then returned. Someone with Wooden Direct said it did leave the warehouse that way and somehow in shipping it got repackaged. I am not sure about that it looked like you sent me a returned product. I sent it back for a refund. I have purchased from you before and this was disappointing.
The most difficult part of the process was choosing the fire log style. Once I decided and made the purchase - the rest was simple. Gasmasters installed the unit in less than one hour and we love our new gas fire log set. No more cleaning out the fireplace and we can light the logs year round.
As for great customers, you check off all the boxes. We loved hearing from you, you have great taste in logs, and you hired pros to install your gas logs. Big cheers and applause from all of us at Woodland Direct!

Sent dimensions along with pictures of our current grate to make a custom fireplace grate, however, after 3 tries, the dimensions are not as requested and I have given up.

I expected delivery in a week, and it took about three weeks. Not an issue since I'm not using the fireplace in May, but I had to reschedule my installation.
